I find nothing even remotely funny about this health care overhaul and I absolutely find nothing remotely funny coming from the RNC or the DNC. Basically as far as I'm concerned both parties are identical; it just depends on which of them is attacking the other at the moment. Near as I can figure their "values" are about the same...."do as I say do, don't do as I do." Otherwise, wouldn't they step right up, both the dems and pubs and show how much confidence THEY have in this bill that they are forcing on the American people while they enjoy their premium health insurance, paid for by guess who?

I have not yet figured out why so many people in America want something like that. Why they don't care about what this will do to their country. They don't care if the country collapses, as long as everyone is equal. They don't care that all the warning signs are there when congress and other politicians and Mr. P.O. won't join themselves. Why when he says in a speech, "you should be able to have the same health coverage that I have", yet they won't allow us to join the same health plan they are in, and why they refuse to join this govt take-over Pelosi crap-care plan. Why do so many people who live in America want to see the country socialized. I do believe it is all political party based, since if it was their enemy in the office they'd be screaming and shouting against what they are screaming and shouting for.

America - "Land of the Free". "Greatest Nation in Earth" Soon to be phrases and ideologist of the past if they get away with this.

For the life of me I can't figure out what people are thinking. There have always been different socioeconomic classes and that is not a bad thing. The point is that EVERYONE had an equal opportunity to better themselves. Who'd of ever 'thunk' we would be a nation he!! bent on making everyone equal? I was raised at the poverty level (WITHOUT any government handouts) and through hard work and keeping on keeping on was able to make it to the upper middle class...not sure such a thing exists anymore. I have no problem with those who have been able to succeed beyond what I have done, more power to 'em. I think the "land of the free" is for the most part already history and I don't think the "greatest nation on earth" will be far behind. Too many people think they are "owed."
