How can I get rid of skunk smell?

Last night a dog chased a skunk under our deck and cornered him there! The deck is right at our den and kitchen, and OMG, it smells to high heaven. I have sprayed air-freshener throughout the house, but it is overwhelming in those rooms, where we spend a lot of time. Any suggestions?

[ In Reply To ..]Many years ago a skunk got in my house and it sprayed. I boiled cloves in water on my stove for a couple hours and it totally took the smell away, plus made my whole house smell great! Good luck!
