DC hurricane and earthquake message from God

Posted: Aug 29, 2011

While talking about government spending to a Florida audience this past weekend, MB unleashed yet another inside track insight she gleaned from her direct red phone connection between herself and God Almighty.

"Washington, D.C., you’d think by now they’d get the message. An earthquake, a hurricane, are you listening? The American people have done everything they possibly can. Now it’s time for an act of God and we’re getting it.”

We are to take great comfort in knowing she was only joking.  Joking about events that resulted in at least 31 confirmed deaths (still counting) with victims ranging between 11 and 89 years of age, tens of billions of dollars worth of massive destruction, loss of property, displacement and many yet untold stories of human misery and suffering.  To get a better idea of just how inappropriate this is, especially for a presidential hopeful, try connecting faces, names and individual stories with that impersonal death toll number:

Those TP jokers, errr, I mean leaders are just a great big barrel of laughs.

I think it is more likely that God is telling her - sm

To love thy neighbor, including homosexuals, the poor, the disabled, and to watch over our Earth.

That's the God I believe in. - nm

And Maxine Waters blamed the east coast earthquake on the Tea Party - hmmm

[ In Reply To ..]
Of course, when a conservative says something outrageous it is WAY more newsworthy, right?
Is Maxine running for president? - nm

Soooooo, it is not okay for the other side to make such comments. - They're all idiots
[ In Reply To ..]
I do hope the people realize this ridiculousness has no place in election of our president. We need to get on with the real issues of daily living. It doesn't matter how we got here or what caused the hurricane. It happened, now onto truly important things.
I think it is significant that a primary candidate - would crack jokes to make political hay
[ In Reply To ..]
about billions of dollars worth of massive destruction and a multistate death toll, now at 40. The insensitivity of this action boggles the mind and speaks volume about the woman's personal character, or lack thereof.
Could you please post a link to this story? - sm

I can't find one that reports her exact words.
Please see message. - sm

I need to preface this by saying I can't be sure the videotape wasn't tampered with by Fox, but here is a video of Maxine Waters regarding this.

http://foxnewsinsider.com/2011/08/22/video-democrat-maxine-waters-tells-the-tea-party-to-go-to-hell/. Excuse me while I disinfect my hard drive after subjecting FOX to it.
LOL. Thanks. Hope your hard drive has fully recovered from its ordeal. - Still scratchng my head over

this blaming the earthquake on the TP thingy.
Well, I used a "conservative" news station to supply - a link. (sm)
[ In Reply To ..]
I don't recall her blaming the hurricane and/or earthquake on anyone specific.

I do, however, agree with her choice of destinations for the Tea Party.
Evidently this claim is fabricated. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Can't come up with a link of any kind reporting Waters blaming the earthquake on the TP, nor anything remotely similar. The go to hades comment is a separate unrelated incident as near as I can determine. Would love for hmmmm to pass that link along. Otherwise, s it stands now, credibility is mighty, mighty shakey. Until then, the fact that it DID NOT HAPPEN could well explain why it is not newsworthy! Oh, and while we are t it, nwsworthy would imply that the story would hve been covered by outlets other than Fox and wordpress.

I guess some folks think that when confronted with the enormously indefensible stupidity and insensitivity of TP campign rhetoric, an effective defense consists of pulling any ole falsehood out of the hat in a effort to distract. NOT.

This isn't the first time a link has been scrubbed - hmmm

Is this better? - hmmm

Is that all you've got? If you are - sm

If you are transcriptionist, you really should be used to people making a slip when speaking. I don't know how many times I have had to flag a very strange bp reading, drug dose, etc. It is obvious he was tired and/or just had a momentary slip where he meant 57 visits, or 47 states, or whatever.

President Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. . He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.

Get over it and quit being so petty.
Not until he leaves the White House - Practice what you preach..nm

:)
I'd love to read some of his essays from college - you seen any? - hmmm
[ In Reply To ..]
Didn't think so.

Of course God wants us to love thy neighbor. - Why would we assume

[ In Reply To ..]
that she doesn't?

MB is a freakazoid, making a fool of herself and God, too. - Also she is a ditz.

[ In Reply To ..]
n/m

When MB loses the election, does that mean God lied to her? - Or he was just testing her

[ In Reply To ..]
Of course, I don't really believe God would tell anyone to do that at all. She has religious delusions of grandeur.

I've only felt three earthquakes in the 40 years I have lived in Upstate New York.  I guess this was based in Ontario and we felt it all the way down here!  I hope they didn't sustain too much damage.   TV says it was a 5.5 up there.  Felt the whole house sway.  It felt like I was having a dizzy spell, but my husband felt it too.  I was far away enough to be excited about it - so cool!  But I hope nobody got hurt up in Ontario! ...

Clinton said that Romney mocked Obama's position on climate change during the first presidential debate, although the topic didn't come up. "He ri ...

Haitian Money For Earthquake Relief Was Funneled Through Friends Of The ClintonsAug 01, 2016
Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation and Hillary’s 2016 presidential campaign. By all accounts, the money and what it was meant to do never really reached the Haitian people. While the Clinton Foundation only puts 10% of its donations towards charity, the IHRC was a real racket for Clinton pals, 1% went towards Haitian groups and agencies on the ground. All that is transparent is that the money didn’t go to Haiti, beyond that the trail goes cold. The money for earthquake relief ...
