HHS Bankrolled Catholic and Baptist Church
Posted: Jul 13, 2014
A month or two ago news broke that Obama’s HHS was calling for private contractors to help transport illegal aliens throughout the interior United States. What made this already big news even bigger is the fact that the original call for proposals came out in January, long before the bulk of the illegal alien surge began.
The breaking news you’re about to read is ten times bigger, because the following proves the Obama administration was bankrolling America’s churches back in 2010. And the tens of millions were flowing in to prepare for the invasion currently underway.
The following is a small taste of what’s out there in grant records. This is just the tip of the iceberg, folks.
Between Dec 2010 and Nov 2013, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Galveston received $15,549,078 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Project” with a program description of “Refugee and Entry Assistance.”
Last year, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth received $350,000 from Department of Homeland Security for “citizenship and education training” with a program description of “citizenship and immigration services.”
Between September 2010 and September 2013, the Catholic Charities of Dallas received $823,658 from the Department of Homeland Security for “Citizenship Education Training” for “refugee and entrant assistance.”
From Dec 2012 to January 2014, Baptist Child & Family Services received $62,111,126 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Program.”
;
Now, what about that separation of - church and state? S/M

Think about this, Obama wants $3.8 billion from Congress to pay for the illegals, yet as taxpayers we already paid for the children through the millions in grants...
We call that double dipping.
OMG! The grant for the study was given in 2008. - Bush was in on Obama's evil plan. LOL

If you follow the link in the article titled "Document about Unaccompanied Alien Children Project located here," you will be taken to a report by The University of Texas at El Paso under Department of Homeland Security Grant Award Number 2008-ST-061-BS0001-05. That "2008" in the grant number is the year the grant was given, so apparently even the Bush Administration was in on Obama's evil plot that started even before Obama won his party's nomination! Wow, for a bumbling idiot type who can't read a teleprompter, this is quite an astonishing accomplishment! (sarcasm)
The fact is, there has been a problem at the border for a long, long time. It's not new. Politicians know this. See link for an article from mid 2005 and face facts.
This is why Bush was pushing for comprehensive immigration reform in 2007 to make approximately 12 million illegals into American citizens and set up a guest worker program to allow workers into the country and put rules in place to control the rising flow of immigrants. This is NOT, repeat NOT, a new issue. These studies were commissioned long ago and are not some part of a grand conspiracy.
No, I'm not. I didn't put the link in the misleading article. - sm

I'm pointing out that the funding for some of the studies they're whining about were granted in 2008.
It's their link in their article, not mine.

You can't blame the border situation on Bush.
No one blamed it on Bush. Far from blaming, actually pointed out that Bush tried to SOLVE it! - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Somebody interpreted giving Bush credit for trying to solve the growing problem somehow equals "blaming Bush." LOL Ummm, okay!
If you read the article from July 2005, it states, quote: "Those coming from Brazil, Central America, and 'countries of concern' could hit 150,000 this year." So, yes, the numbers are higher now 9 years later after 2005, but those numbers were large then and growing and being reported and studied in order to combat the problem.
Leave it to conservatives to suggest the "proposals came out in January, long before the bulk of the illegal alien surge began" when the grants for such studies are not new and neither is the problem.

I wish I wouldn't have read this post. This has sealed the deal for me. What incentive do we have to work hard anymore when we see our taxpayer dollars going towards this and helping other countries (some sponsors of terrorism)? I'm not liking this one bit.

[ In Reply To ..]
Oh, wait. Margaret Thatcher is no longer the prime minister and is, in fact, deceased. The current prime minister, David Cameron, has said he does not intend to oppose the government as a matter of course and will offer his support in areas of agreement and has urged politicians to concentrate more on improving people's happiness and "general well-being," instead of focusing solely on "financial wealth." When giving a speech to the 2006 Conservative Conference in Bournemouth, he described the UK National Health Service as "one of the 20th Century's greatest achievements." In 2006, Cameron made a speech in which he described extremist Islamic organisations and the British National Party (the UK's far-right anti-immigration party very much like the Tea Party) "mirror images" to each other, both preaching "creeds of pure hatred." Cameron is listed as being a supporter of Unite Against Fascism.
So things change. The days of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan are gone. The status quo will not be acceptable in this country any longer. The United States always seems the slowest in the change department, but we always do catch up.
Then I won't dare quote Winston Churchill, as - UK cops arrest a man for this,

I Gave Up Going To ChurchMay 31, 2013I used to be an avid church-goer. Catholic, back when you went into a confessional to confess what you felt was a sin.
