Foot swelling, any ideas?

I have recently noticed left foot swelling, more so than right although a little on the right sometimes. I also feel like I am having swelling in my trunk area, not necessarily my abdominal area but the trunk. I am not using added/excessive salt. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on the cause of this. ;

[ In Reply To ..]take medicine for that and it has been running lower than usual. The hands not so swollen, ankles and trunk not so. I had yogart, bananas and apple for breakfast and noticed the swelling after that and that sure is not enough or salty enough to cause swelling.

[ In Reply To ..]About 2 years ago I started with gout attacks every 2-3 months. Now on Colcrys for any signs of pain. However, the past 3 months I have constant swelling of both feet. Just had a check up and my pressure meds work just fine. Believe its the gout trying to come through.

It does not hurt, but if I continue working for a few hours after it starts to swelll, it does get pretty uncomfortable. The foot I use on the foot pedal is slightly swollen and the ball of the foot is so sore I'm limping. It helps to wear shoes with padding. I do have periphera neuropathy from spinal stenosis which I think causes me to hold my toes in a different position because I can't feel the floor with the front part of my foot. Just wondering what everyone uses as stocking stuffers besides the usual fruits and nuts. I read another post under the DH/SO post about the sweet gifts in a stocking so just thought we could share some tips too.
