Why does Brangelina's daughter

Shiloh (sp?) always look like a boy? She never looks like a girl, always dressed in boy-ish clothes. I thought I read somewhere that she likes to be called by a different name... a boy's name... but don't remember what it was. What's up with that? I don't get it.

She's a 4 year old being allowed to exert a certain amount of independence in how she dresses. I say good for the parents.

I don't find her attractive at all. And watching her in interviews or talking with others I find her personality to be "ugly". When someone is ugly on the inside it takes away from any beautiful atrophies they may have on the outside. I find Pitt to be okay looking, depending on other circumstances. I have no idea of what their kids look like because I've never cared enough about them to want to see what their kids/toys look like.

You really think that a toddler of 2 yrs or 3 yrs "wants" to dress like a boy. I doubt it. Sure, she's a little bit older now, and if she does "want" to dress like a boy now, it's because that's how her PARENTS have dressed her. The parents are responsible for this young little girl and for some reason have made her look like a boy from the beginning. Just seems very odd.

2 and 3 y/o's have definite ideas of what they want to wear - Nothing odd about it

Using your reasoning, explain Chaz Bono. We all saw "her" as a child being dressed very girly, in dresses and such. Then "she" grew up and turned herself into a man.

some sort of trigger that made this girl child not want to be a girl. Four year old children don't just come up with this stuff by themselves.

Join the 21st century. How about allowing kids to be kids. Some boys like to put on their sister's clothes, some kids like to run around naked (OMG!!) and from time immemorial some little girls like to wear boy's clothes.

Did you ever see To Kill a Mockingbird? Tomboys have been around forever. Open your stuffy mind - how we dress, wear our hair, etc, etc, are largely choices that society has taught us to pass along to our kids as "gender appropriate."

Who cares, as long as the kid is happy.

who wore a purple filmy skirt on his head for "hair" and insisted we call him Darcy. It was definitely not the parent's idea, either. They chose not to fight him about it. Not worth the difficulty. He's now in ballet and loves it. Who knows? It's a big world, and I'm glad it is full of differences.

It's weird to me too. I just saw the girl in Us Magazine being compared to Suri Cruise. I had a child like that in my Sunday school kindergarten class. I think all the parents can do is just "choose your battles" and if the girl has more testosterone and wants to do more boy stuff, just let her. The hard part is other people. I seriously didn't know if the child was a boy or girl or not, the registration didn't ask that question, and actually, I heard the other children asked them also. The child's name could be a boy or a girl, but I have to say I'm 99% sure the child was a girl. I heard her say to another child once, "My mom said I can wear anything I want to." I don't know what happened to the family, they aren't around anymore. I've always wondered if she felt she should have been the other gender.
