Why do I have to be so ticked off early in the morning

Posted: Dec 5, 2009

I went on lne this morning through my bank to get 1 answer and 1 answer only. I do not need this and that, just answer my question. I stated my exact statement up front, that being in 1 account if I take XXX amount and that leaves only XXX, am I charged a fee for not having enough in that account, do i have to maintain a certain amount. This @#$%##%%@## from wherever came back with first 1 thing and then another. i keep saying, you are not answering my question and it is this..... She said "I explain you...." Twice she said "I explain you" and when i FINALLY found out the answer I wanted after yah, yah, yah, I said that would be "I explained to you." And people want to send medical records to others who have absolutely no grasp of English? Bad way to start off my weekend.

;

Wouldn't you be happy if you could say "I explain you" in a foreign language!...nm - geez!

Don't vent your anger at them, vent it to the ones.. - compassion

who hired them.
It's not their fault, they just want to make a living, like you and me.

Vent at the biggie bank, bet that makes a difference - Right!

Now how far would you think that would go? The person who welcomes you when you go into the bank and she says "Oh, I am so sorry you are having a problem." End of that, nothing else done. I can hear I'm sorry all day long and still just gets my goat to ask 1 simple question, and then have someone to go all around, not answering and then say they answered twice and then to use THEIR English, not mine. I have to make a living too and my English on my reports is held to extremely high standards.

Not long ago....I had a similar experience..... - Jen

I had to call my cell phone company for a problem with my bill and I explained OVER and OVER and OVER my issue and this lady's accent was so thick that I could BARELY understand her and I type for ESL dictators all day! That is pretty bad. Apparently, my accent was just as "thick" to her, becuase she wasn't getting what I was saying either. After about 20 minutes of going in circles with her I finally told her that I am NOT trying to be disrespectful, BUT she and I are having communication problems due to the differences in our accents and I needed to speak with someone that I could understand better. She became REALLY offended and told me I was NOT speaking with someone else. I had to hang up, call again, and the next time I got someone who was a bit more understandable.......still ESL though.

I explain you............ - mt way too long

I had had this problem in so many instances. The problem is that the person you are asking really does not understand the question! Not your fault, it's their fault. When I get in a situation like that, I just ask to speak to the manager because I can feel my BP rising and its just not worth it. Very very frustrating!

Very scary example of this kind of stuff is this: I was a patient in the hospital a few years ago and had a nurse who was from another country. She had no more mastery of hte English language than the man in the moon. It got so bad that I finally got hold of the floor supervisor and told them to NEVER EVER send that nurse into my room again. Very very dangerous situation.

Just ask to be transfered right off the bat... - justme

I absolutely refuse to speak to anyone outside of the United States other than Canada, period. I have no desire to speak to the Philippines or India and no desire to deal with the language barriers. I immediately ask if they are in the US and if not, ask to be transferred. Sometimes they do; sometimes they "require" all my personal information in order for this transfer to happen, which I refuse to give. Sometimes I have to hang up and try again until I get someone who will respect my wishes. Something you might try doing next time. :)

For those interested, there is supposed to be a fantastic meteor shower display peaking from 1 am to daylight on early Tuesday morning.  This is the Leonid shower which occurs about every 33 years.  My sons and I have stayed up and watched them before, and we were not disappointed in the past.  I just hope the weather is right.  We live in the country and this affords a wonderful view.   ...

What Really Gets Me Ticked Off!Oct 17, 2013
Several years ago I went to a local box store, not the WM, and bought some Christmas items. Before I got home my cell phone was ringing and when I got home I had an email from BOA. They had shut down my account thinking "because I normally did not shop at this store, it was not me buying." Today someone has hacked my debit card at another big store but looks like this was a telephone order and it was not me. This put me in the red for almost $1,000.00. Now, I have coverage to where I am not goin ...

Sen, Feinstein A Wee Bit Ticked Because The Intelligence CommitteeNov 13, 2012
Committee was not informed of the FBI investigation. What the heck is going on with the government? None of the various departments seem to work together anymore. They keep all info to their own department. No cooperation with each other. Why do they even have an Intelligence Committee if they aren't kept informed of situations? Why did this Kelley woman get an almost instant FBI investigation? Because SHE's got an in with the FBI. Me thinks Kelley woman may have a grudge ag ...

Kate Steinle Family Ticked With TrumpJul 14, 2015
The brother is really miffed at Trump for USING his family's tragedy in his political circus without any personal contact whatsoever.     This is the sort of hair-brained, shoot from the hip, sensationalism you will get with Trump.  I don't think he stands a snowballs chance, but in case the Conservatives really are crazy enough to nominate him and for some reason there is a solar eclipse and the world goes dark for election day and he is elected....this is the sort o ...

Early Birds?Dec 27, 2013
Just curious if there are any other early birds out there?  I start working around 4 a.m. every day.  I'm more focused in the morning and work better getting an early start.  When I tell people what time of day I start work, they think it's crazy.  I know I'm not the majority, but just curious if there's anyone else on this type of schedule. And good morning! ...

Early BirdiesOct 18, 2015
Good morning.  Anyone else out there up and working at this early hour?  I'm a total early bird and can't work after it gets dark outside (at night), though the early-morning darkness doesn't bother me.  Just saying hello and wondering if there are any other fellow early birdies up and at them this morning. ...

I'm An MT Who Took Early RetirementMay 25, 2017
I have arthritis in my hands and back, progressive eye problems and high blood pressure.  After losing several close family members who were in their early 70s, I became extremely depressed working for one of the MTSOs, and I decided I should make the best of my remaining life and decided to take the early retirement to ease the pressure.    My part time IC job and retirement income is about $22,000 a year and I have a tiny nest egg stashed away for emergencies.   My plan wa ...

Even Though It's Early, Brown Is Winning In MA Jan 19, 2010
I'm hoping he keeps his lead and wins. Fresh faces would be good start. Shake up all those who think they have a job for life. 52.5% Brown by 46.4% Coakley. Hopefully, ACORN will not be involved in this election. If they are, then Coakley will win. Then I hope a recount is called. Hopefully, the Pittsburgh people will wise up if Murtha is up for re-election.  One of the most crooked of 'em all. ...

Anyone Else Like Working Early MorningsAug 19, 2012
Just wondering if I'm the only one who enjoys getting up early and working?  Most people I know think that's crazy to want to get up early, especially on weekends.  I am most productive very early in the morning and lose my steam by the mid afternoon.  I know I can't be the only one, but maybe we are just few and far between?  I always hear, "If I did your job, I would stay up late and work."  Um, no.  Not me.  I would fall asleep at the keyboard ...

Question To Those Who Voted Early...Nov 08, 2016

FBI Director Firing In Early 90s Had Some Similarities To May 11, 2017
Less than a year into the new president's administration, the FBI director was fired. His conduct had been scrutinized before the election, but when the opposition party won, it took months for him to be out of a job. William S. Sessions, fired in July 1993, was until Tuesday the only FBI director dismissed in the middle of a 10-year term. He claimed politics led to his ouster, a view held to this day by some supporters. There are many similarities between President Bill Clinton' ...

Two Part Question - First Album, Fav Bands Of 70s/early 80sNov 21, 2009
1.  What was the first single (45), 8 track, album or CD you bought with your own money?  Most of you probably won't know this one but mine was "Billy Don't Be a Hero" by Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods.  It was a 45.  It came out around the Viet Nam war era so I assume that's what it was about. 2. Men Who Comment On Women's Weight Have A Tendency For Early MortalitySep 28, 2016
The OP subject is an old joke on social media, but it is not a joke when you are the subject on comments such as what Trump has made about women.   I think most women understand the insecurity about their bodies that gets instilled in us as children.   If you don't understand, there are all kinds of psychological articles available on the subject.   Definitely not someone who should be president.   ...

I Am Praying For An Early Guilty Verdict For Casey AnthonyJul 05, 2011
Watching verdict watch today, I just hope the jurors come back today to show Casey Anthony what they think of her and her shady attorney, Jose Baez, who maligned everyone connected with the prosecution case and was willing to accuse her father of incest in the most crude way during opening statements.  Did Baez just take this third version of what happened to Caylee at face value from Casey, the psychopathic liar, and run with it, hoping to become rich and famous lawyer? What proo ...

What's Your Morning MO?Feb 23, 2010
I'm just curious about how many of us working at home have the same routine. I get up in the morning and immediately heat up bottled water for coffee (I use a French press which makes a really perfect cup of coffee), then hop in the shower.  After that, I make my coffee and drink it while taking about 10 minutes to put on my mineral makeup (so much faster than the other kind of makeup), eyeliner, lip liner and lip gloss.  I then blow dry my hair, get dressed, make a second cup of ...

Morning SmilesNov 10, 2009
Good Morning.  I thought all of you might like smile to start the day (before the World beats us up).  Some of us can identify with the funny below, I know I certainly can.   Menopause Jewelry: My husband, being unhappy with my mood swings, bought me a mood ring the other day so he would be able to monitor my moods. I Heard On The TV This MorningMar 01, 2011
that union members in WI are passing around a flyer with names of businesses who supposedly contributed to Walker and calling for a boycott of those businesses.  My problem with this is that employers are the ones who hire employees who pay taxes who fund unions.  Isn't that kinda like shooting themselves in the foot?  Plus, do teachers not realize that some of the businesses they want to boycott may employ a parent of one of their students...but they are doing all this for t ...

My Son Is Nauseous Every Morning.Aug 23, 2011
My son is almost 18 and is a senior in high school.  This started back in June.  He just started back to school yesterday and it is breaking my heart seeing him ill every morning especially since now he is in school again.  No matter what time he gets up, he feels sick to his stomach.  He usually starts to feel better around noon. I drove him to school yesterday and he was gagging in the car.  I expected him to call me during the day, but he didn't.  When he g ...
