Facial waxing recommendations

Nair is a PITA, have heard waxing is longer lasting and quicker to perform. Any info or product recommendations?

I've tried many different waxes - sm

My favorite are the wax strips you heat up in your hands. They come pre-waxed, and you rub them between your hands to heat them up for a while, then apply.
I've found that instead of rubbing them between my hands, which is kind of a pain and warms the wax unevenly, it's easier, more uniform and warmer if I just press the strip against a hot mug of tea before using it.
I use the Nair wax strips and Neet wax strips. I think they're both good.
Also, for the fine peach fuzz on my face, I use Oil of Olay Duo. Since I have horribly sensitive skin and the redness from waxing lasts a couple of days on some spots, I only wax my upper lip and use the Oil of Olay on the rest of my face.
Hope this helps--I'm half Portuguese and have dealt with hair removal since a teenager. I've had laser treatments to my face, waxes, bleaches and lotions...I could talk about it all day! (Poor me!)
I use the Gigi tub and wax - see message

I bought a Gigi tub and wax about 13 years ago. It has paid for itself. The muslin strips aren't real cheap, but when you think of it in terms of that they come in packets of 100, it's cheap.
You also buy "popsicle sticks." You dip those into the wax after you have warmed the wax and apply to the hair evenly. Then, you take a muslin strip (they come in different sizes) and quickly "rip" in the opposite direction of the hair. Oh, joy. Well, my mother used to say, "you have to suffer for beauty." I have to say I only need this for my upper lips and eyebrows.
I tend to get a bit red and sore after, so I use a dairy product on the sore spots (like yogurt, cream or milk) and it fixes me right up.
Use baby oil after to remove any wax left behind on your face.
Eew! - Nervous

I only tried waxing once, on my legs and I still remember the pain to this day. Just the thought of ripping that piece of paper off, yikes. Has it gotten easier with newer wax products? I just use Anbesol to numb the area and pluck.
LOL - Not so bad because...

I honestly don't think I could stand doing my legs (that's a lot of area to rip off), but honestly, just my upper lip and eyebrows I can stand.
It also seems less painful when I do it myself than when my salon does it for me. Not that they do anything different, it's just a subliminal thing where you are doing the ripping and controlling it---seems to produce less pain.
