Book choices for Twilight fans?

I'm mid 30s and this may sound a bit juvenile, but I LOVED the Twilight series. I could not stop reading them! I read when I get on the treadmill, so it worked great that I would want to read chapter after chapter. Someone recommended the True Blood series to me, but I couldn't really get into it. Someone then recommended the Vampire Academy series and I have just started the first book, but it seems a bit TOO juvenile for me. Please help, lol, my butt is getting bigger by the minute, I need a book series to keep me entertained to exercise:) TIA

The Vampire Chronicles (Anne Rice), there is at least 3 in the series.

Vampire hunter series by Laural Hamilton. These are not for kids. Also JR Ward is the author of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Also not for children.

I just breezed through book 1.

Better yet, get the DVD series of seasons 1 through 4 to watch. I couldn't see them fast enough.

Nothing could top the series (best ever) but I did enjoy book and looking forward to rest of book series.

Book plot line is very close but has some changes from TV series which makes it interesting for someone who can't get enough Dexter.

I haven\'t read this, but a lot of my friends (we\'re also in our 30s) have went from the Twilight series to the Hunger Games. I think it\'s a trilogy. They all say it\'s great.
