So many people purchased and installed solar panels in my district and saved so much money that the bills of other non-solared homes skyrocketed because the power company had to ensure revenue. Also, recouping the cost of solar panels (purchase and installation) will take decades, sometimes longer than the lives of some customers. Double-edged sword? Yep!

Go ahead, flame me. I have my own opinion. I'm all in for helping the environment as much as possible, but not to the detriment of people. I remember hearing a little story about a tiny fish in California. I think they called it the delta smelt. Yeah, another one of Governor Moonbeam's claims to fame. LOL.

No alt libbie seems to be able to muddle through the simplest example of their "climate gods" being total hypocrits. These guys produce more polution in ONE flight of their private jets than we will in more than a lifetime. I already checked into it a couple months ago. It's $30K PER PANEL and to run a household, you need more than one...not to mention the batteries, the set up of all the other items necessary to USE solar.

Someone in a town not too far from here had solar done at his house. The town forced him to disconnect it because they have a law against setting up private electric service. It cost him over 100K to set everything up and he would have recouped his costs in 20 years.

Real good deal, isn't it?
