Fukishima nuclear radiation, Michigan tar sands oil spill, North Caroline coal ash leak,"do not use or drink the water" in West Virginia from the coal washing chemical leak, trains exploding in North Dakota from oil transport, oil refinery explosions and fires at Texas oil refineries.
Just reminding you that solar power does not have these problems. No more obtuse than the vague conservative posts with links to questionable sources, I would say.
Except that now the "greenies" are complaining - They are never happy

That the solar panels are too hot for the birds. They don't like the wind farms because it hurts the birds. They don't like oil, coal, wood, gas, etc. I don't know what they expect us to use. They always find something that they are not happy about.

There are always glitches. We learn from them, and hopefully we correct them. Already there are new wind technologies that are less likely to kill birds. I bet we figure out a way to protect solar panels from birds and vice versa.
Identifying the need for improvement is the essence of innovation - something America used to be profoundly good at. There's no need to put a negative spin on our ability to identify problems and set about solving them.

I have some solar panels that run the house lights, LED television and fans. I wish I could afford more panels, but this is what I have right now. My panels do not even melt the snow that falls on them. I have to brush the snow off them by hand.
I am thinking some of these environmental disasters have done a lot more damage to humans, fish and birds than one super-solar plant. But I do have confidence that even that will be fixed.

It's a spoof, a joke. There is no such thing as a solar spill. (My apologies in advance to the OP - I just want to make sure this board realizes it's a joke.)
It's in California, not Colorado. - Do your research, greenie!

And the "solar spill" is causing problems with the drought, taking too much water, more than a golf course. Oh, my! No more California golf outings for B.O.

I was reading other reports yesterday and I always read the poster's comments. Some say stop depending on oil and depend on nuclear, solar, and wind. That's easier said than done. Solar and wind are expensive and not a guarantee for northern climates. N ... Results Of Oil Spill. Jun 06, 2010
