Why do so many people

seem to hate those who have been fortunate enough to inherit their wealth? Is it jealousy? What? I don't get it. If I were rich, I'd want my kids to share in my success. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. So why do so many people have a problem with that?

Talking specifically about Mitt and not others I can tell you that I think he is a man who has no clue what the real world is like for 99% of the people in this country. Him and his wife talk about how they "struggled" in college "having to live off stocks." That is what this man considers a hardship. Him and his ilk went in an turned companies upside down where the hard working everyday joes got screwed left and right and their lives destroyed at the same time the upper management still made out. He belongs to the crowd where they get 3-years' money worth after their country club perks are cut so "help ease the transition" while the peons get a kick in the rear as they are going out the door.

Success is not the problem with this country...GREED is. Companies are making RECORD profits in a RECESSION. CEOs are getting huge bonuses and having their wealth increase in a RECESSION. While people are losing their houses, their pensions, their health insurance, etc. These pieces of garbage who make multimillions ANNUALLY are whining about having any tax increase while THEY DO NOT PAY THEIR WORKERS ENOUGH TO LIVE ON let alone make it to a tax bracket where they have to pay income taxes above their FICA. Hate them no....disdain and disgust for them, VERY MUCH SO. "Give me a tax break so I can create jobs! (in another country where I can exploit workers to quadruple my wealth because having more than I can spend in 10 lifetimes still isnt enough)".

Simon Cowell made $90 million over the same time period, while Leonardo DiCaprio earned $77 million.

Don't forget the athletes... Manny Paquiao earned $67 million between May 2011 and May 2012 beating people senseless.

How many jobs do you think these individuals created? How much do you think they gave to the poor?

I am not forced to go to movies or sporting events so the money they make is at my CHOICE not really my EXPENSE.

Also Joe Biden made $379,035 dollars last year and gave $5540 to charity. While it is not a lot percentage-wise what it tells me is that he didnt give merely to avoid paying taxes because it wouldnt have made a difference, he gave it from his heart.

Has Tyler Perry announced he is running for President on a platform that cuts programs like Food Stamps and such? Has Manny Pacquaio said he is going to get rid of Planned Parenthood, the only place where many low income women see a doctor? Has Simon Cowell said he is going to dismantle Medicare as we know it? That's nice that those well off pay into charities that truly need it. However, I don't want charity, and I would venture to say the vast majority of the populace (not all, there are some bad apples) don't want it. They want jobs that pay a fair wage that will enable them to pay for all of their needs and perhaps with some careful savings some of their wants. THAT is the true American way, not millions of people scrambling for the few crumbs that are thrown out by said wealthy "job creators." The continual rising profits and top-notch CEO earnings should be criminal when they continue to slash wages of those who MAKE THEIR MONEY FOR THEM (emphasis, not shouting, though tempted to do so). They slash our wages then complain that we are sucking off the system. What is wrong with this picture?

The fact that these individuals made a lot of money does not make you or me poorer. The movie industry and the sports industry support themselves. They make their OWN money and they are free to spend it the way they choose, by making more blockbuster films or signing the best slugger. NOBODY subsidizes their earnings. We don't have reimbursement programs in place to enable these industries to remain profitable - (like we do with big pharma, medication, healthcare delivery, and the like). THIS is the meaning of free market enterprise, and there is not a thing wrong with it. It is not up to Leonardo DiCaprio to create jobs, for goodness sake. Of note, however, when sports clubs or movie studios are successful, they create PLENTY of jobs.
