Calling All NYC People

Won tickets to a concert at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC for Tuesday night. Driving 4-1/2 hours to go to the show. I've only driven to NYC once and that was to stay at a hotel. Worrying and wondering about where one would park in the City in order to get to the Theatre. I just read that there were parking garages nearby, but wonder where they may be. Any help would be appreciated!

I live in Upstate NY and I have to be back at work the next morning so there was no way we could take a train or even bus for that matter since the times didn't work out. Plus the expense. The tickets are free, but not the transportation. Like I said, I know it says there are garages nearby to park, but I was wondering if anyone knew just how far they were from the theater.
Check the theatre website. Or call if nothing about parking listed on the site. - nm

[ In Reply To ..]A couple of suggestions, if no one else has direct information:
1. Find parking structures nearby using MapQuest.
If you do a DIRECTIONS Search using
The address of the theater in the first START (left - bottom) ADDRESS, CITY, STATE box
The word “Parking” in the second END (right - top) FIND A BUSINESS box.
2. Find Hotels nearby and call them. They probably have suggestions for their guests or, at the very least, can tell you which ones NOT to use, if you can narrow it down to a couple of the ones close by.
