Do you people really want navigators like this

Posted: Oct 14, 2013

I sure don't.  They have access to all your information.  Can anyone see stolen identities on the way?  Unreal.  Well, maybe not, considering............

Yes, you people. Obamalovers, obamcaresupporters. call yourselves whatever you like.

Not only that, but do you know how much money they are making? - Great money for felons.

Tearing down American traditions, PC, stuck on stupid (sm) - REDSKINS FAN (can still say that)

[ In Reply To ..]
It was brought to our shores in the early to mid ‘30s by members of the “School of Marxism at Frankfurt” aka “The Frankfurt School”. The expressed purpose of PCism was to force people into ideological compliance.

All who practice and/or preach, or even submit to PCism are, in fact, the very same domestic enemy that the various oaths, especially military, demand we defend against in as aggressive and bloody handed a manner as if it were a foreign enemy.

The reason PCism has grown so rampant is because we all keep treating it as a joke. It’s not a joke. It’s destructive and malicious.
It's meant to shut you up and control speech. nm - REDSKINS FAN (can still say that)

Perhaps the ONLY people truly qualified to comment on the subject of the perpetuation of negative racial stereotypes are the ones who share a common history of having been victimized by them. In this case, being that it's Columbus Day and all, perhaps a little consideration being paid to the plundered, displaced, interned and massacred-to-the-point-of-near-annihilation Native American population is in order.
90% of Native Americans are not offended. - REDSKINS FAN #2

nm
Oh, really? Did you take a survey? - Every place
[ In Reply To ..]
I turn when reading about this subject, I invariably encounter Native Americans posting in the comments section who take issue with, (a) non-Native populations of all flavors stepping up to discuss the shoulds and shouldn'ts and telling them how THEY feel, (b) being told to "get over it," and (c) CARTOONISH redskin and totem pole depictions, whereEVER they may be.

Your claim is absurd just based on its own lack of face value.

Obama talked about that during an AP interview. - Please sm.

[ In Reply To ..]
I cannot find a transcript of the interview, but do wonder what his critics would have said if he refused to answer the reporter's inquiry (such as, a "leader" who cannot take a stand). Can we all just agree that no matter what he says or does, his critics will think it is wrong?

Warrant is 41 years old. What'd she do? Hit a soda machine - that stole her money?

[ In Reply To ..]
That's against the law in Kansas, ya know. Positively SCANDALOUS! Perhaps the tender age of the perp (who looks like she may have been a juvenile back in 1972), the statute of limitations, nature of the alleged "crime," and/or the inefficiency of the Shawnee County Sheriff's clerical staff explains why it's still on the books.

IMO someone who went bankrupt, inadvertently bounced a check or got behind in their property taxes during W's reign could be one of any number of us who belonged to what use to be the ever-shrinking middle class. Heck, I got $5000 behind in my property tax during that same time just being an IC/MT single parent trying to house, clothe and feed my son. Bounced a few checks in my time as well.

That does not make me an identity thief. It just makes me someone who has since paid off my property taxes little by little over the years, paid a couple of hot check fees along the way, who happens to be one of the 10s of millions of previously uninsured looking forward to the benefits of OC and being able to seek medical treatment for multiple previously neglected pre-existing medical conditions.

Check out the rest of the navigators who are felons. - Go ahead, if you dare.

In the military you have to have a complete background check. SM - mother of military son

[ In Reply To ..]
I read this on The Hill...

"Here there are no background checks, no taking of fingerprints, now fresh out of jail for ID theft or passing bad checks you are given access to folks most closely guarded numbers. This promises to be highly entertaining, as long as it's not your closely guarded numbers."

GOTP, the one-strike and you're out - for all eternity party.

It says that under the Administrations plan (don't forget to read the word "not").

âAssisters are not prohibited from hiring convicted felons, including individuals convicted of identity theft or fraud.â

Just what I want someone who has been convicted of identity theft taking all my personal information. Just gives me that nice warm fuzzy feeling that our government is looking out for us (not).

here's the full sentence from the Oversight Committee - (of which Darryl Issa was chairman)

[ In Reply To ..]
"...unless states have already taken actions to protect their citizens, Navigators and Assisters are not prohibited from hiring convicted felons...[etc.]"

Certainly, Mr. Issa understands how these kinds of programs are staffed and operated. It should come as no surprise to him that the legislation leaves the protection of its citizens up to the STATE. It would be an enormous mess to try to filter all these employees through the federal government. These are STATE exchanges. Who more so than the state has access to the criminal records of its constituents?

New Job Openings: For Insurance Exchanges, States Need ânavigatorsâFeb 05, 2013
By N.C. Aizenman, Published: February 4 Signing up an estimated 30 million uninsured Americans for coverage under the health-care law is shaping up to be, if not a bureaucratic nightmare, at the very least a daunting task. While some people will find registering for health insurance as easy as booking a flight online, vast numbers who are confused by the myriad choices will need to sit down with someone who can walk them through the process. Maybe It's Me, But Some People Jul 14, 2011
So I am going to pick up my son and his friend from football camp and he says to wait that there is a lady that wants to talk to me.  So along comes this lady who just reeks of money asking me if it was okay for her to take my son's friend with her and her grandson (my son is NOT invited) to the country club swimming and could I call his mother.  I told her I did not have my phone, but the friend could call his mom and ask.  She then proceeds to ask me to wait ...

Why Do So Many PeopleMay 25, 2012
seem to hate those who have been fortunate enough to inherit their wealth?  Is it jealousy?  What?  I don't get it.  If I were rich, I'd want my kids to share in my success.  I don't think there is anything wrong with that.  So why do so many people have a problem with that? ...

Opinions From Cat PeopleJan 03, 2012
I need a serious opinion.  We have friends who have 2 cats, full-breed, who they have had daily bonding with for a good 2 years.  Said friends are going on a 3-month trip out of the country and are boarding the cats here in the states.  The one cat (before owners have even left) is showing signs of something isn't right--getting out of the house and not duly returning home, peeing smack dab on top of the bed.).   These cats are brother and sister, and will be somewh ...

WHAT ARE PEOPLE THINKING??Mar 28, 2011
I went to lunch today for a change in scenery.  I had a cold bay shrimp salad with a butter herb vinegrette dressing and a passion fruit tea.  It was nice on the patio today, warm with a slight breeze and I was happily munching away when all of the sudden I started to CHOKE!  I mean for real, gagging, retching choking!  As if that wasn't bad (and embarrassing) enough, NO ONE WOULD HELP ME!  It seemed as if a whole 2 minutes went by until I ran from the patio into t ...

How Dumb Are People?Nov 02, 2010

With Memorial Day having just passed it brought to mind why our service men and women are fighting.  To preserve our freedoms and that includes freedom of speech and the freedoms to believe what we want.  Nobody should be cutting down anyone else because they don't believe a certain way (that is the way they believe).  Sometimes I am gone for days, sometimes work and family keeps gives me little time to come.  These past few days or a week or so of posts here on the boar ...

I do have one question, all you people who think this kid was just led astray, needs a little help, guidance and forgiveness. How do you split yourselves up like that? How do you get around sympathizing with the killer (who truly meant harm) and also sympathize with the families? You can't have it both ways, you know.
