Thank you for this, hadn't heard this one yet today - definitely a 3-point shot (of course it's still officially "alleged crime" ;)

Not surprised AT all, but the most curious feature to me is that even when the far right wing extremist media and their fearmongering struck gold on certain key truths about Obama's lack of transparency, they just wouldn't stop digging and screaming foul - past the point of creepy stalking of every little thing the president does, straight to "what exactly are they trying to distract us from?"

They really believed just because we listened to some truths, we'd buy the whole gallon-jug of Kool-Aid and were distracted enough they wouldn't get caught, or they wouldn't get what they give from a few.

My favorite was the investigation into communications regarding illegal campaign fund raising has been blocked up until now citing "freedom of speech" - twice, now lol. So what was that you were saying about transparency, Walker?

And pulling favors/working so closely with a federal on funding, when you've been so "Go State?" all along? Tsk, tsk.

To be fair, they all do stuff like this, it's just far right extremists irk me the most because they have practically thrown a near revolution over others doing this stuff.

I could deal with Walker a bit better than Cruz, if I had to, but let's hope we don't have to. Because as much as the name "Bush" makes me shudder, I'd rather have Jeb than either of those two.

Let me be clear, still a registered Independent, still undecided. In many ways, though a flawed message-bearer too, I still wish Elizabeth Warren would change her mind. (Though putting someone into office I agree with at most 40% of the time just seems wrong, but it's still 10% more than nearly everyone else from either party.)

if you read down the page, a judge HALTED the probe. So, nothing came of it.

Yes, and if you follow that "probe halted" link, it's dated 5/2014 - before the article itself was written, 7/14.

The article does mention it was halted twice previously via court injunction for "freedom of speech" issues and this was one of those times, but reopened.

It appears the case is nearly dead in the water due to repeated court injunctions and appeals, but by no means has anyone been declared "innocent" and court altings do NOT prove innocence - they prove the best paid lawyers can find the slightest technicality to prevent and halt a full investigation.

This is not the behavior of an innocent person - innocent people welcome investigations, not try to halt them.

So why not just release the records and emails to the public since he's "Mr. Transparency?"

After all, what's good for Hillary goose should be good for the Scott gander
