Walker has lost any/all credibility.

Posted: Feb 23, 2011

If it isn't obvious to anyone who didn't believe that Walker and the Republican party are in the pocket of the billionaire Koch brothers, today's events sure prove it.

Oh please. Its the Dems who fled the state - Independent

who lost ALL credibility. I think they should all be fired/impeached. What total losers.

The duper borrowed from the Live Action playbook and the dupee went for it hook, line and sinker. He sang like a songbird while exposing his hypocrisy and turned himself in rather handily. The only thing more astonishing than his arrogance is the diehard dupee herds that continue to support this one-term two-faced fork-tongued has-been whose need to pontificate was his undoing. Interesting how he is being hung out to dry by his fellow tpot govs. Talk about a flash in the pan who couldnt even manage 15 minutes of fame.

The Republicans are bought and paid for by the corporations. The Democrats are bought and paid for by the unions. It's just a matter of where you put your money.

The Koch bros are funneling cash to the Freedom Works (I think that's the organization) and other conservative organizations. Soros is funneling cash to Media Matters and other progressive organizations. The unions are funneling money to the Democrats. If someone criticizes only one side, it's hypocritical, don't you think?

I think you are referring to the punked call that Walker got? I haven't heard the call, but I don't imagine it would be too different from an intercepted call from Soros or union boss Trumka to a Democrat leader. Trumka admitted he talks to the White House daily and visits a couple of times a week. I'm just sayin.

If it isn't obvious... - see message

The democrats who fled the state instead of staying and doing their job they were elected to do should be fired. Right along with the angry mob. I hope they all lose their job. They are putting their selfish interests before what is best for the children (whom they are supposed to be teaching) and what is best for the state.

Gov. Walker is doing the best job he can. The state is broke. The unions and teachers cannot continue in the same fashion without it impacting the state. They obviously do not care about anybody but themselves with their "gimmeee gimmeee gimmeee" attitude.

The governor tried working with them, but no they wouldn't do that. Their attitude is screw the state, just gimmee what I want.

As far as I'm concerned they blew it. They could have worked out some agreement, but no, they wouldn't even try.

I say give their jobs to teachers who want to work. It's obvious they don't. They don't care about the students or the state. I hope they get what they deserve. Time to stop playing around.

What are you talking about. Now that Walker has exposed himself - sm

the dem senators most probably will face a hero's welcome on their return. At least they paid attention to will of the people, who favor preservation of collective bargaining by a 2:1 margin.

Nope, the coward democrats who... - see message

abandoned their posts and are shirking their responsibilities have exposed themselves. I highly doubt a "hero's welcome" is what they will get as they should not. They should be reprimanded and lose their jobs.

Sick and tired of hearing the lame excuse of "collective bargaining". What a cop-out. They just don't want to pay their fair share for benefits. They want the rest of the state to pay for them. Sorry...I pay enough in taxes without carrying them.

I say fire all the coward politicians who fled their post like immature spoiled brats who don't get their way. This is not what we elected them to do. We elected them to do their job. Not go on a vacation at our expense.

Gov. Walker is doing the right thing. However, it's hard to work with children who won't even compromise and work with him.
When reelection time comes around, just keep your eye on - sm

who stays and who goes. The dems did the only thing they could do to prevent the opening assembly session from harboring government by decree. I would imagine those 35000 public employees will boost them up and carry them on their shoulders through the capitol rotunda soon enough.

You seem a bit confused. It is the feds who are on vacation all week and will return just in time to shut the government down on account of draconian budget proposals that aint gonna flyand set-in-stone non-negotiable agendas and attitudes. Meanwhile, WI dems are standing by their principles and representing the will of their constituents for no pay, hardly what I would call a vacation. Evidently, the popular support they enjoy means nothing to you.

Thank goodness yours is the minority view and you are not in charge. From where I sit, the tantrums are being thrown on the other side of the aisle over not getting their way, along with all the childish name calling, your post being a prime case in point. The tpots seem to be particularly touchy now that the reality of the situation is beginning to become apparent, that this stunt Walker is trying to pull has brought labor issues to the forefront in the public discourse and their movement seems to be gaining traction day by day. I suggest you simmer down and get used to their visibility in the weeks and months to come leading up to election season. They wont be going anywhere anytime soon. You have Gov Walker to thank for that.
I will be keeping my eye on it - the confusion lies on your part - see message

The dems did what they do best. Run when the going gets tough. They didn't stick it out and do the hard work they were elected to do but instead get "paid" vacation. Yes, that's correct - paid. This was not the only thing the dems could do. They could have stay'd and did their job that they were elected to do. Now they are not thought of too kindly. People here do not trust them. We elected them to vote on issues we felt important. Instead when they didn't see things going their way they ran like criminals. I do hope something can be done about their dereliction of duty. As public servants they need to be held responsible for their actions. It's called AWOL and it is a very serous offense.

If in DC when the health bill was being passed if the pubs didn't like it and go off on vacation to not vote about it you'd be the first to scream of their unnecessary absence. What the elected people who are gone on their vacations have done to the people they are supposed to represent is inexcusable. You don't run off when times are hard like a little child with a tantrum. And it certainly is not what the people of the state want from them.

I praise Gov. Walker for sticking by his principles. The state cannot afford to continue on the way they have with the unions. They need to start working with the government instead of their "gimmee" or I'll commit violence attitude. Unless they are willing to work with the Gov. Walker nothing will ever get accomplished.
Nothing will ever get accomplished. - You got that right.
[ In Reply To ..]
Its all done but the shouting. Walker made his position clear yesterday when he reported in to his boss via that viral telephone call. We all know where he stands, why he stands there, who put him there and what this is really all about. No amount of sour grapes rhetoric can spin him or his supporters out of the exposure he brought down on himself. The degree of corruption he showed in his haste to impress his pimp, errr, I mean benefactor, is appalling. He is SOOOO busted.

Under the current circumstances, and in view of false pretenses he has extended toward dems living in the diaspora, they will stay firmly implanted and force Walkers hand. Just how kindly do you think Wisconsinites will view him once he starts laying off workers and destroying jobs to further his stated union-busting agenda and personal ambitions to become the next Reagan? They already support collective bargaining by a 2:1 margin. By my calculations, he does not have too much further to fall before he is of the map all together.

That nothing will ever get accomplished is exactly what should happen with this boondoggle. I am going to enjoy watching this creep go down. Save your yada yada yada for the WeStandWithWalker blog. No one else is listening.
Corruption? Get real. Its the UNIONS who are corrupt!!!!.nm - BLT

Indictment for what? Did he do something illegal? Seriously, I haven't heard the conversation.

Why would you care if Fox called for his indictment? I don't think many people actually believe either party is without sin or corruption. Personally, there are very few politicians I trust. Some are Republicans and some are Democrats. I don't believe one side or the other is inherently evil. I just thought we could agree on that one point, that's all.

There is no reason for that. All the senators who deserted their post... - see message

Need to be indicted. They fled their post when things didn't go their way like a bunch of spoiled little children.
