Walker, now Fitzgerald have made liars out of those who

Posted: Mar 10, 2011

so vociferously defended this bill as a budget measure and denied union busting.  Fitz got a little cocky (as the cons have a tendency to do) and admitted Walkers and his intent was to defund unions in an effort to undermine the 2012 presidential election in a Fox interview with Megyn Kelly.  Guess they have figured out there is no way they could ever win an election based on the merits of their agendas.  Not only was this not about the budget, but it was not even about Wisconsin.  I am relieved to see this finally out in the open for the whole world to see just what a bunch of losers they really are.

;

I was watching on Fox and heard 1 senator say it was done to get rid of the President - Was that the same Senator?

Well, I think I wouldn't have admitted that, but he did. What was he thinking?! I Was not impressed. I wasn't surprised, but I was shocked that he admitted it.

Jeff Fitzgerald is the Speaker of the Wisconsin Assembly - sm

He is attached at the hip to Walker.

Well...the whole thing started to get rid of the - Republicans and get a jump

start on talking points for 2012 (union busting yada yada)...so I guess the counter would be to go after the Democrats (the President). It is all this back and forth finger pointing and running for the white house in 2012 rather than fixing what ails Wisconsin AND this entire country, that being the glaring inability of Democrats to realize that we need to STOP SPENDING and make some CUTS. They talk about everything BUT that. Helllooo...mid-term...remember that???

At least the Republicans listened....they are all about cutting spending. THEY listened. Dems did not...still pointing fingers, still not taking the financial state of this country, this economy, seriously; still wanting to spend, spend, spend, spend....

I hold no alliegiance to ANY party. The party that LISTENS and GETS IT gets my vote. Right now, that is the Republicans. I see absolutely NO change after the midterms in ANYTHING the Dems are doing.

Walker was able to balance the budget without raising taxes or laying people off - WI MT

[ In Reply To ..]
I am mighty proud of him for that. In fact, he rescinded those layoff notices sent out last week. No one lost their job and in fact unemployment has dropped from January down to 7.4 in Wisconsin, not great, but still better than national average. The small businesses in WI are hiring again. Walker did make cuts too and gave cities and school districts the tools they need to balance their budgets. He gets it.
Yes he does! - nm
[ In Reply To ..]
which is exactly why we need a new President who gets it in 2012. Cutting costs, cutting spending and not raising taxes on ANYBODY works!
Guess you missed the memo. The bill was stripped - of fiscal components
[ In Reply To ..]
so they could vote without quorum.
And will be voted on separately... - that is if the Democrats
[ In Reply To ..]
ever come home to do their jobs. ALL of this could have been avoided. And in their heart of hearts, I know they are wishing they had never opened this can of worms. Oh well...hindsight.

"If we win this battle, and the money is not there under the auspices of the unions, certainly what youâre going to find is President Obama is going to have a much difficult, much more difficult time getting elected and winning the state of Wisconsin."

You prog/libs will still find a way to cheat, lie and steal to get the votes in 2012, nothing new. So stop whining.

Wow, that was kinda nasty. Cheat, lie, and - steal? NM

I am confused with this post. First you quote - what Walker et al SM

[ In Reply To ..]
are really trying to do, which is actually cheat, lie, and steal the 2012 election, then you say libs and progressives do this? Very confused.

I"m not a prog/liberal, but I am offended by your rude comment - and embarrassed for you

America can do better than that.

If it was a political ploy, it worked. It exposed - unions for what they are...

[ In Reply To ..]
the National Bank of the DNC...and still with the pointing of fingers. What one man says means nothing to me...what means something to me is a union in a financially troubled state disregarding the majority of the people in THAT state, not caring what their collective bargaining costs THOSE people, as long as the dues of the public workers keep the funding flowing to the National Bank of the DNC. With THAT going on, you want me to blame the Republicans? NOT in this lifetime. DNC likes to play dirty politics; they certainly DON'T like it when it is fed back to them, then they squeal about "what is right" like pigs under a gate. Please...talk about ringing hollow.

It was about the budget. Of course it was. That is a ridiculous statement. And it could have been avoided. AGAIN, if the intent was to "defund" unions, why exempt police and fire? The only way a union is "defunded" is if the MEMBERS STOP PAYING DUES. THAT is what the DNC and the unions are worried about...that the cash cow dies.

You cannot possibly believe what you just posted. Just passing along the talking points. Earth to DNC...we cannot hear what you say because your actions are drowning out your words.

And giving unions billions of dollars - sm

of stimulus money (taxpayer dollars) so democratic politicians could make sure that the very groups who fund most of their campaigns didn't suffer or lose their jobs is much better? This onesided argument is getting extremely old. Waiting for the day when some of you open your eyes and see how corrupt both sides are. Wake UP!
