This is what was wrong with Trump's

Posted: Aug 13, 2017

While a car plows into anti-protesters, killing 1 and injuring many, he says violence must stop on all sides.  While these Nazi, white supremacists come packing guns and riot gear, he says violence must stop on all sides.  While David Duke smiles and these are the people that put you in office Mr. Trump, he says violence must stop on all sides.

Maybe with all the heat he is taking for this, he will change his wording, but I doubt it because these are the type of people that got him elected and the type of people that would get him reelected.

;

I think violence must stop on all sides. - Do you?

[ In Reply To ..]
I also think attending protests that are violent are incredibly ignorant on both sides.

Yes I do, but I think when the violence is from - one group such as these

[ In Reply To ..]
Nazi's, it should be addressed directly to them. Don't you agree?

I was not there so I do not know if one group - was the ONLY violent group.

[ In Reply To ..]
I hate it all, do not understand the purpose and feel everyone who attends these "protests" are setting themselves up for a fall.

BTW what are these people protesting and what do they hope to achieve on both sides.
What am I missing here? Everyone has a right to peaceful - assembly. The original group had a permit
[ In Reply To ..]
and everything was peaceful until ANTIFA showed up.
The city gave permits to BLM and AntiFa on the same day and - the AntiFA attacked the white protest
[ In Reply To ..]
group - the city AND governor is responsible for this violence.

It makes you think the city WANTED this violence.
I thought this too. Why were AntiFand BLM arme with - crowbars and had masks on?
[ In Reply To ..]
You aren't supposed to wear masks anyway at a rally.

Someone needs to make a list/graphic of all of the leftist/Antifa related violent gatherings and demand that ALL politicians - on BOTH sides - condemn THAT violent group.

Pres Trump was absolutely correct to condemn ALL violent groups. Not just cherry pick one.
Who paid BLM and AntiFA to be there? Who paid for their buses - to go there? The mayor of
[ In Reply To ..]
Charlottesville is himself a self-described “Democratic Activist” who was educated at Berkeley.

Why did they (mayor and McAuliff) look the other way as Anti-Fa and BLM bused in leftist agitators? They knew this was a pressure cooker waiting to happen.
Who paid and supported Nazis to be there? - Trump's father was KKK
[ In Reply To ..]
Maybe it was him???
My father was anti-Semite. I am not - and married a Jewish man.
[ In Reply To ..]
How incredibly ignorant to think you would follow in the footsteps of your parents.

Do you have a link to Trump's father being KKK?
Good for you. Evolution does exist. - Sm
[ In Reply To ..]
But most don't fall far from their trees.

Let's just cut this off at the pass.
1. Many internet sources.
2. NO, I was not there.
3. Many documented instances of tenant racism by elder Trump...and this one too.
4. Can we stop the silly, "but I did this, so the rest does not exist" ...throwing in an insulting "ignorant" along the way.
Provide internet sources that Trump's father - was KKK
[ In Reply To ..]
I did not say racism does not exist. I said I did not follow in my father's footsteps. PAY ATTENTION!

Tenant "racism" exists now in my city but it has to do with INCOME and not race. You have the money and the continuing income with a steady job and you will get the rental home.

You aren't "cutting anything off at the pass". It is delusional to think you can.
You gave an individual tangent - Typical of your sort
[ In Reply To ..]
LOOK IT UP...I am just certain with your superiority you will find it
I am CERTAIN that if i made a claim I would - back it up. I am CERTAIN lefties cannot

I am CERTAIN that if I believed something to be true I would PROVE it by providing the source of my info.

Lefties are not only liars, they are weasels.
I am CERTAIN - sm

that I have looked at any and all "sources" the right use. They are a joke. Not ... one ... legit. They are lies, conspiracy theories or half truths. Every single source is an alt-right/conservative rag. Rag means rag. Rights are liars who haven't condemned white supremacy which is despicable.
Only a "Joke" Because They Don't Confirm Your Biases - vin

[ In Reply To ..]
You will fake news it anyway.

Donald Trump was in a family with a Racist father, and educated in Racist boarding schools. He and his companies have been convicted of Racist rental policies for over 40 years. Donald Trump has a lot of money. Racism has been very good to and for Donald Trump. Donald Trump has publicly Lied about just about everything since becoming president, and while running for president.
His biggest lie to date may be to claim that he is not Racist. He has the support of every Racist organization in America. The KKK, Nazis, and Fascists of all stripes all say that they are forwarding Trump's Agenda.
If it Stinks and Oinks like a Racist Pig, it is a Racist Pig.

Look up words...racist...trump...father.
IF you looked up those words, POST THE LINK! - You dug the dirt, post it.
[ In Reply To ..]
I don't like dirty fingernails or garbage like lefties do.

What's your problem with posting links to your info? Fingernails too dirty or you got dirt in your eyes while searching.
How much you wanna bet Trump is KKK, too. - I sure wouldnt be surprised.

On the Nazi side I saw assault rifles and masks....hoods.

Were you there? I saw nothing but clashes. - with people on both sides seeming to be in

I have seen this over and over on this board, including the tenet that racism is a thing of the past and simply does not exist anymore. To those special folks, wake up.

From what I have seen racism exists on all - sides in uneducated classes.

[ In Reply To ..]
Racism is not a one-way street with only white people participating. I see racism among lower class people on all sides.

Not the larger issue. - Sm

The "upper" class ultimately controls the narrative.

Your comment is another form of "it doesn't exist."

Good try...next.
Racism EXISTS on all sides in lower class - uneducated people.
[ In Reply To ..]
That is where the violence plays out. If racism exists among "upper" class they are hiding it well. I doubt very much the "upper" class participates in violent protests.

As far as I am concerned it is not the color of skin I look at to decide whether I like a person. It is the character and intelligence.

Spin that anyway you want.
Upper class is controlling the narrative - Sm

Not talking about who called somebody tge n-word at the barbecue here.

This is a sponsored class warfare. Always has been. Look beyond the surface emotions.

Of course it exists in the lower classes, because they are trained in this.

No, upper class, notables are not participating, other than occasionsl utterances by your president, AG, governors, oh wait, you define racism as violence in the streets. No, they can't get sweaty or inadvertently injured....we play that out for them. (Settle down...royal "we" as in our class)

Americans did not bring Africans over. - Education could help some distorted thinking
[ In Reply To ..]
Buying Slaves in Africa

How did an African become a slave? At first, white slave traders simply went on kidnapping raids, but this proved too dangerous for the Europeans. Instead, they established hundreds of forts and trading stations along Africa’s West Coast. Local African rulers and black merchants delivered captured people to these trading posts to sell as slaves to European ship captains.

About 50 percent of the slaves were taken as prisoners during the frequent tribal wars occurring among the West African kingdoms. Another 30 percent became slaves as punishment for crimes or indebtedness. The remainder were kidnapped by black slave traders.

An African trader usually transported his slaves to a coastal trading station by binding them around the neck with leather thongs, each slave about a yard distance from each other. There were often 30 or 40 in a string. The factor living at the trading station negotiated a price between the African slave trader and the slave ship captain.

After making a deal with the factor, the traders transported the slaves in large canoes to the ship, riding at anchor just beyond the thundering surf. The factor supervised the branding and loading of the slaves onto the ship. For land-bound Africans who had never seen it before, the ocean was a terrifying sight. Some slaves tried to escape by jumping into the sea, only to be devoured by sharks.

So the southern settlers bear no responsibility for enslaving fellow - human beings? Sad! Nm

Europeans brought back Africans captured by other Africans. READ! Education is a good thing. No sense in spewing untruths.
Uhh, but if there was no market for human - beings, no slaves, eh?
[ In Reply To ..]
I have heard this ridiculous theory spouted by white "nationalists" (supremacists) in an apparent earnest effort to assuage guilt from the stain of slavery in this country.

I have even read an excellent fiction book about it. Yes, the Africans captured other Africans (Homegoing, a novel by Yaa Gyasi). Again, if there was no market for African slaves, they would not have captured those from other tribes and sold them.

Who created the market? Who profited from the market? I guarantee you those buying the slaves in Africa profited way more than the Africans who sold them did and that's why it persisted. From what I gather it was a tribal society and tribes would capture those from other tribes and sell them - it was not just money they got but they would then become the ruling tribe because they got all the other strong young men out of the way.

But still, supply, demand, market.

Yeesh.
Your info is not new, just distorted. - Nice try though.
[ In Reply To ..]
You can give us a lesson in how slavery got started, which happened long before America was even discovered, and how it continued afterwards, but you can't fool anyone about Americans not running slave ships themselves. There is no distorted thinking in history about this, only your distorted, somewhat flattened "education" of the same.

It was taken as a pass by the Nazis - Sm

White supremacists cheer Trump’s response to Charlottesville violence"He said he loves us all."

In response to violence by white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia, Donald Trump pointedly refused to condemn the perpetrators, saying that blame for the violence comes from “many sides.” At least one person has died and many others are injured.

Even some traditional allies of Trump, like Senator Cory Gardner, have condemned Trump’s silence.

But one group of people were thrilled with Trump’s comments: the white supremacists themselves.

The popular white supremacist siteDaily Stormer called Trump’s remarks “really good,” noting that he “didn’t attack us.” They were also pleased heignored a question about white supremacists after making his statement.

Trump comments were good. He didn’t attack us. He just said the nation should come together. Nothing specific against us.

He said that we need to study why people are so angry, and implied that there was hate… on both sides!

So he implied the antifa are haters.

There was virtually no counter-signaling of us at all.

He said he loves us all.

Also refused to answer a question about White Nationalists supporting him.

No condemnation at all.

When asked to condemn, he just walked out of the room.

Really, really good.

God bless him.

Some commentators on the white nationalist message board Stormfront also praised Trump, with one noting that the president’s comments could just as easily be read as a criticism of Black Lives Matter.

Others on Stormfront were upset Trump didn’t take things further and actively support white nationalists.

This view was echoed by former KKK grand wizard David Duke.

Trump has, however, installed Steve Bannon as his chief strategist. Bannon bragged that Breitbart, the website he ran before joining the Trump campaign, was “the platform for the alt-right.” The rally in Charlottesville was organized by the “alt-right,” which is a euphemism for white supremacists and white nationalists.

In the campaign, according to author Joshua Green, Bannon advised Trump to avoid criticizing white nationalists because it didn’t impact his polling.

When Trump policy adviser Stephen Miller recently unveiled the administration’s new immigration policy, he echoed arguments frequently advanced by white supremacists, including an unusual attack on the poem at the base of the Statue of Liberty.

Earlier this week another White House adviser, Sebastian Gorka, said people were being too critical of white supremacists. Gorka has drawn controversy for his own alleged ties to a Nazi group in Hungary.
