So instead of real issues, this is all the pubs go for November . . .

Oops, supposed to be "all the pubs got . . ." - Really?

Wishful thinking. Dems are scared out of their WITS with good reason - and might not recover for years ala Carter

I gotcher "real issues" right heah. We're gonna take you to the woodshed and it isn't going to be pretty.

What is so scarey about GOP repeatedly - shooting themselves in the foot?

[ In Reply To ..]
Au contraire. Exposure of Bunning grandstanding, party-of-no obstruction, outright lies that can be uncovered with a simple voting record search of the perp, and widespread GOP hypocrisy has that woodshed party positively giddy. Whether you know it or not, these are real issues during an election year, especially when viewed through a broad scope.

oh do promise to be here post election - Taffie

The repubs are making absolute hineys out of themselves and think they are scoring points with the nimcoboobs. Wait until the election season and the Dem TV ads come out with snippet after snippet of repub shenigans and utter disregard for the citizens come out. Hope you will be here so we can mock your delusional sorry self.

I promise. - And you do the same.

There isn't a single pundit on either side of the aisle who isn't predicting that the Republicans will pick up seats in both houses in November. Now, if even an idiot like James Carville says so, the handwriting's on the wall.

The only thing they can't QUITE agree on is whether the Dems will lose their majority in the House or hang on to it until 2012.

The Dems are in big, BIG trouble. One almost HOPES they're stupid enough to follow Obama and Pelosi over the edge of the cliff on healthcare. Lemmings!

Oh yes...I'll be here on election evening. But for some reason, I'm betting you won't be.

From the mouth of a true pub . . . relating everything to some sort of act of violence . . . - Really?

[ In Reply To ..]
is the only thing they understand. Hateful, nasty campaign techniques didn't work for them in 2008 and any voter with an inkling of intelligence will see though that crap again. Sure, you might pick up a few seats by default, but bear in mind who is still in the Oval Office for the next 3 years . . . .

For a good time, call the RNC. - Fear is fun. So is

[ In Reply To ..]
mockery, irreverence and insult for donors, with the wealthiest characterized as self-centered babies. Use of grass roots donations to bankroll getaways, luxury retreats, parties, overseas trips, prizefights and that vital professional bull-riding event, activities that are strictly reserved for the cream of the money-bags crop. Ridicule and expressed intent to manipulate small donors by appealing to their gut instincts, which finance staff reduce down to fear and negativity, tactics they plan to employ to whip up more extremism and reactionary party splintering. Appeals to egocentrism with peer pressure and access bribery are reserved for the money bag babies. Cynical transformation and trivialization of pride and patriotism into mere marketing tools.

Typically, the RNC Chairman cannot bring himself to openly denounce the strategy, but instead elects to save his own hide by distancing himself, despite the fact that the finance staff has significantly eroded and undermines his own tireless efforts to shore up donor trust. The best his spokespeople can come up with is to defend Steele by revealing that he did not attend the event and had never seen the document. This begs the question, what kind of leadership does this imply if the chairman did not review the campaign finance plan? It also casts doubt on that claim.

"What can you sell when you do not have the White House, the House, or the Senateâ¦â Translation: How to promote a recent and realtime record of obstruction, grandstanding, en bloc monolithic behavior, and other self-destructive party-of-no maneuvers that have resulted in zero accomplishments to showcase.

There it is. There are people out there who actually think this is funny, and they are in charge of fundraising for a major political party. Call me crazy, but it seems that in the middle of a deep recession, stagnant economy, jobs loss, unemployment, broken government, etc., fun and games should be the last thing on their minds.

OWS November 17thOct 28, 2011
From Facebook Occupy Wall Street:  "SAVE THE DATE: November 17th. This will be big. VERY BiG. On November 17th, we call on all allies and supporters across the nation to put a stop to business as usual and reclaim this country for the 99%. Details to come....." Sounds interesting. Will it be a day for all the worker bees in the country/world to call in sick or something, like a master strike? I think I'm in. ...

Glossitis Since November 2011 And It Won't Go Away.Jul 29, 2012
I've been suffering with glossitis since before I had my baby back in November of 2011.  It comes and goes but it's starting to really piss me off because it smarts like heck.  After suffering with it for 6 months and having no home remedies cure it, I finally went to my PCP.  She was like, "Yep, it's glossitis.  I don't know why you have it, but you do.  You can try Mylanta and rinsing your mouth with it and if it doesn't help, call me."  S ...

November 9 Headline: Pollsters Get It WrongOct 20, 2016
You might not realize it, but Trump supporters have decided to screw the pollsters and remove them forever from the sphere of influence. Either they don't answer poll calls at all, or they report that they're voting for Clinton. They WILL be voting in massive numbers for Trump. It will be a landslide. You heard it here, so don't be surprised on 11/9 when the vote doesn't turn out "as expected." I can't wait to watch the mainstream media wiping the egg off ...

Prediction: Not An October Surprise, But A November Surprise.Sep 09, 2016
My analysis showed Trump ahead by 3 points until the last week and now show 7 points. The "traditional" polling methods are not valid in this election and a lot of people are going to be gobsmacked. I predict that Trump will win the popular vote by at least 9 points and will win the electoral college. (Guess what? The Clinton campaign is starting to think the same.) ...

Seems Like The Pubs AreApr 11, 2017
Pubs doing the same thing as usual.  They get something and then may lose it because of their 1% policies.  We don't know what is going to happen but Trump even got in on this one.  I've read about other same scenarios in other places.  They just don't get that people don't want policies that protect the 1% while leaving us in the cold. ...

Bladder IssuesMar 06, 2011
I had a hysterectomy about eleven years ago.  Since that time, I have had a lot of UTI\\\\\\\'s.  I would assume it is because I have a prolapsed bladder or cystocele.  I am seeing a Urologist on Thursday and I was wondering if he was going to recommend a sling procedure.  Has anyone had this done, and are you happy with it?  ...

Skin IssuesFeb 23, 2011
Well, we're all pretty much feeling the economic squeeze and I'very decided I need to find a more economical line of skin care products (I have sensitive skin and have been using Cetaphil cleanser with creme de la mer toner and the creme de la mer moisturizing cream for ages).  I don't know if its because my skin is just supersensitive or so used to these high-end toners and moisturizers that they just go haywire when I try something new and more economic.  I'd bee ...

Weight IssuesMar 25, 2012
Okay, I have always been a medium built girl, somewhat petite at 5'3 and always carried my weight well. Two years ago I quit smoking and packed on 20 lbs. I got busy working out and counting calories, and tried to change my eating habits. Okay, it was gradual, but I lost 10 lbs. Over the course of some months it continued to decline gradually. But this Winter around the holidays I pigged out. Then I went through a transition where I lost my job, quit cooking and eating healthy and jus ...

Not My Kid, But Got Teenage IssuesAug 24, 2010
A very dear friend of my husband and I has gone off the deep end over the past year or more.  He is a full-blown cocaine/crack addict and his family has all but disowned him.  He pretty much does what he wants and is not anywhere near the point where he feels like he needs help. He has kicked his wife and her 15 year old daughter out of the house several times during his path of self destruction.  Most recent was this past weekend AFTER he took almost everything in their ...

Let's Talk Issues....smAug 01, 2012
Since it has been brought up that libs supposedly don't want to talk issues, let's do just that... Issue 1: Foreign policy: What exactly is it that Romney would do different from Obama in the middle east? Issue 2: Besides trying to kill Obamacare and therefore healthcare for tons of people, as well as lowering taxes for the rich, what is it exactly that Romney would do to improve the economy? I'm assuming pubs have the answers to these questions as they are so sure that Romn ...

Outside Cat, Trying To Solve Eye Issues AndOct 27, 2014
I wrote down below about outside cat that has eye issues. Some told me about L-Lysine, got that and started 1000 mg a day or so ago. What I would like to know, have some Vitamin C that I was giving him and he seemed to have brighter eyes. This morning his eyes again (after not giving him the Vitamin C, switching out for L-Lysine) were looking a little worse. Would it be any problem to give him both the Lysine and the Vitamin C? Thanks my fellow catfolks! ...

Fertility IssuesOct 14, 2016
My daughter has been unble to get pregnant since she had a miscarriage 8 years ago.  She found out her right tube is completely blocked.  She wants a baby so much, and she would make a wonderful mother.  All of her friends are working on their 3rd or 4th ones now, and she cannot bring herself to go to baby showers anymore.  I encouraged her to look at foster care, since adopting a baby is expensive and takes forever.  I am reaching out to my peeps on this board to see if ...

NEIGHBOR ISSUESAug 22, 2015
There are 3 families with young children who live next to me.  My children are grown and gone.  All of the children like to come to my house, probably because I don't have to discipline them, I'm like a grandmother. Anyway, I will label them family A, B and C.  Family A is no longer allowed to play with family B or C - long story. I enjoy having all of the children at my house - I miss having children around.  I have never had this problem before and I'm not ...

Just A Sample Of What The Pubs Want . . . .Feb 04, 2010
"Spend too much, tax too much and borrow too much." Clearly, Republicans believe that we can reduce our deficits by cutting spending even while cutting taxes. So what would they cut? . . . . 2009 Republican budget put together by Rep. Paul D. Ryan, who passes as the party's idea man. That budget would freeze domestic discretionary spending till 2014, but Obama's budget does that. It would increase spending on the military over the Obama budget, and pledge all the money needed to ...

Crats Vs PubsMay 14, 2010
The Republicans are run by a bunch of rich folks, that are proud of being rich. They don’t want the gov’t doing anything that might cost them money. The Democrats are run by a bunch of rich folks, that feel guilty about being rich. They don’t feel guilty enough to give away their money, so they want to tax the heck out of the "middle class" to pay for social programs to ease their guilt. Both party’s seem to pretty much define the "middle class" as those that don’ ...

Pubs Who Want To Win Next Time, Here's Something To Think About:Nov 07, 2012
The Republican ticket may hail from Massachusetts and Wisconsin, butMitt Romney and Paul Ryan head the most Southernized major U.S. political party since Jefferson Davis’s day. In its hostility toward minorities, exploitation of racism, antipathy toward government and suspicion of science, today’s Republican Party represents the worst traditions of the South’s dankest backwaters. No other party in U.S. history has done such a 180. Founded as the party of t ...

Hypothyroidism And Skin IssuesApr 09, 2011
I have hypothyroidism, but not taking any medications.  Part of my problem is my face and skin.  Under my eyes is always flaky (like psoriasis) and I've got pimples that are breaking out all over my face, but they are not like the pimples of my youth (without getting gross about how I used to get rid of them), now when I try to pop them nothing happens and they get bigger and redder and they hurt.  The skin on my face is normal but my forehead is normal to oily and the areas ...

Need To Talk About Mental IssuesApr 27, 2011
I don't even know where to begin.  Right now, I am in such pain and emotional turmoil, but I know it is many times worse for my son.  He has been diagnosed with autism (educational diagnosis) later changed to Asperger's, and the initial medical diagnosis was PDD-NOS with ADHD (at age 3).  He is now in 9th grade and life is miserable for our whole family.  I am coming to believe that he may actually have (either with the above or any combination of thi ...

Feet Issues- For YearsAug 22, 2013
I have no idea where to go to get some help for myself. I have tried every single speciality that I thought perhaps could help but this has been going on for over 10 years now and no help. Tried ortho, podiatry, neurologist, nerve conduction studies, x-rays, MRIs, nothing found and no treatment and still going on. If not for Birkie's, have no clue what I would do but still feet aching. My left foot used to have electrical current that would hit, only when walking, never at night. That elect ...

Sinus/Allergy IssuesApr 27, 2014
Has anyone ever heard of this happening?  I have never, ever had any type of issues with sinus problems or allergy problems.  Back in October, I got sick and was living in a house with probably some mold and other allergens.  I got extremely sick and stayed that way for a couple of months.  Since then I have had a stuffy nose, unable to smell, limited taste and a stopped up ear, so that has been SEVEN months now!  I don't have insurance, so the only doctor I can aff ...

Two Issues (one Non MT) And A Question, So Will Post Here. Jun 08, 2016
I am on a job search (or was until last night). I had been trying for FT, PT, whatever comes along for the time being until I can find something stable outside the home. I received two invitations today to schedule interviews for FT positions. Now I need to know how to politely decline these so I'm not burning any bridges in case I end up needing them again. Now the reason I need to decline and my question. Last night I found out that I will be moving my grandmother into my home to take ca ...

Husband Issues-Part 2Nov 05, 2014
I posted a short while back and got some great input and was asking for a bit more.  Short recap: I'm the one that the hubby has a lady at work who has a crush on him, made it known to a friend of mine, I confronted lady and hubby stopped talking to her, but didn't really have a confrontation with her.  I was upset at hubby, because I felt he should have confronted her, not just me.  Anyway, I decided to take the high road and just leave it alone and stop bothering hubby ...

Have A Question About End Of Life IssuesFeb 06, 2015
I know it makes no difference what a person wants in their directives, the family can and does sometimes want something else but I want to talk about vent care, life support. Okay, so if a person is at end of life and has no directives, the doctor says to the next of kin you have to make a decision, this person is gone. I know you cannot live like forever on life support, not like you are living but remain on life support is what I mean. What if the family says no, absolutely not and refuses to ...

Something To Beware Of/privacy IssuesJan 03, 2016
I have been spending the day studying. The issues of privacy and what lawyers call a "reasonable expectation of privacy" came up. A girlfriend of mine recently (just on a whim) did that thing where you can have your DNA tested by that organization called Ancestry--the purpose was to determine her ethnicity. (Her parents were both Italian immigrants and she herself was born in NYC.) Anyway, she paid about $100 and the test told her she was 70% Italian, 20% German, and 10% West Indian. The We ...
