Poor, poor Republicans. The mean old president didn't fold like they were sure he would.;

Prez Obama gets a laugh

So did anyone think he would? I think pretty much (sm) - LM

everyone knows, in both parties, that he has no intention of "folding" or "bending" and working with anyone, like he promised over and over. I doubt it's a surprise to anyone, except maybe Ariana Huffington? The idea is not to fold, it's to compromise. Boy King doesn't even know how to do that and doesn't want to learn. So who's surprised by this? I mean, really?

Fox headline - "Presidential pettiness".

The Republican StrategyFeb 19, 2010
It takes awhile to make sense of the entrails of the Republican Party, partly because they are just so toxic, but also because it's actually difficult to comprehend that an American political party can so deliberately sabotage its own government and nation. But after observing their behavior and their policy of, "Just Say No" -- sometimes to their own suggestions, one can only surmise that they long ago left the business of governing and have instead agreed to a covert game plan of destruc ...
