or very limited insurance would have to sign a waiver that absolutely no medical services will be performed for accident or catastrophic treatment without cash up front. No safety net for you.

It astounds me that essentially Republican males do not want prenatal and OB care to be covered under men's health care insurance policies. Don't they understand the consequences of their actions or do they really have so little value for the family?

They talk about their experiences trying to help seriously ill patients, but instead they are forced to take care of those abusing the system, consuming tens of thousands of dollars and hours of human resources. They talk about caring for patients who act self-destructively counteracting the help they have just been given, after monopolizing resources that subsequently are not available for others because of having to care for them.

There is no magic wand that will provided unlimited money and resources.

High deductibles and copays essentially make people responsible for office visits and routine care. A plus is that preventative care such as mammograms, colonoscopies, etc. are included and not subject to your copay/deductible. It does not take long to fulfill your yearly deductible if you have even a minor illness or accident. A major one (major medical) would be covered and bankruptcy averted.

It depends on what kind of insurance you have. Many people I - know have such high deductibles
