Over a short period of time, perhaps you could elaborate on your point - or not.

Really, sometimes I think posters have whine with dinner.

Yep - pretty strange post - Bet it came from a Libbie

Time Is Growing Short.Sep 23, 2012
This November, please take the time to re-think your positions and be very sure you are really voting for the credentials of the man and not his personality. This country is so deeply in debt, about half of Americans are on some form of public assistance, one in six is in poverty. Our foreign policy is not working or nonexistent. We are falling, falling, falling off the world stage. We are going to be in the same situation as Greece before long. We need hope and change this time in a very b ...

Odd PeriodMay 12, 2012
I hope someone has some advice.  My period is ususally 3-5 days early.  This month, it was 11 days late and so far (day 2), it's not really a period, it's more like a brown mucousy discharge. I'm 49 and my husband has had a vasectomy (14 years ago). I highly, highly doubt I'm pregnant, but I've never experienced this.  Is it preimenopause? Should I see my doctor?  Thanks. ...

In 90 Day Probation Period At New JobSep 11, 2011
i've started a new job just a couple of weeks ago but feel that me and the company are just not a good fit.  I have never been in this situation before, but do I owe them 2 weeks or 1 week notice at this point?  My understanding is that in the 90 days, if either they or I feel that it's not working out, I can simply resign and walk away when I do so.  Is this the way it is?  Has anyone had this experience and if so, how did you tell them without causing static or an ...

Period ProblemsMay 31, 2011
This may be too much info for some of you guys, so sorry in advance! My period is normally a very heavy flow with terrible cramps and lasts 6 to 8 days.  Lucky me, I know.  Last month it was normal (well, what I consider normal for me).  This month it was like 1 day of spotting and that was it.  I did have a bit of cramping, but this is not normal for me.  I haven't had sex in a couple months and my period last month was normal so I doubt I am pregnant. Any ideas? ...

Period Shamed? Not This Person. Putting ItAug 10, 2015
Just read about a woman who was to run the London marathon. The night before she started her period. She thought she could either wear a tampon or go without, to do so because she claims there is "period shaming." She went without. She said also did it for all the women around the world who do not have the products when they have their period and also she thinks some do not talk about it because of shame. I saw a picture of her after the race with her blood soaked pants. I have no idea what othe ...

'He Became President Of The United States In That Moment, Period'Mar 01, 2017
Shortly after President Donald Trump addressed a Joint Session of Congress for the first time since taking the oath of office, CNN's Van Jones called one particularly moving moment from the speech the real estate mogul's most presidential to date. Less than an hour after Trump honored the widow of a slain NAVY Seal, the Democratic commentator suggested that the commander in chief had officially begun to look the part. "He became President of the United States in that moment, pe ...

Liberal Scholar Claims A Period Was Added To The Jul 07, 2014
RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, the assault on the founding of this country continues by leftists and Democrats everywhere. I Think Italy Has It Right. They Impose A Period Of Media SilenceDec 03, 2016
The campaigning is done now ahead of Sunday's vote. No more campaign ads.  No phony polls being published.  No robocalls.  No news editorials, articles, radio or TV commentary. And on election day, no exit polls, early predictions, etc.  When the vote is counted and certified, the results are announced. Gee - a period of silence in which people can reflect on their vote without the deluge of frantic last-minute yelling, screaming, misinformation, the blizzard of ads e ...

Big Data Finds The Medieval Warm PeriodAug 22, 2017
According to author Leo Tolstoy, born at the very end of the Little Ice Age, in quite a cold country: "The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, without a shadow of a doubt, what is laid before him." Very interesting article herein. ...

Strange But TrueApr 19, 2010
My PCP put me on dexamethason @ 12 mg a day to reduce the swelling around my parotid gland tumor 2 weeks ago. I've suffered from blurry vision and the inability to read anything small print without heavy magnifiying glasses for 8 years. My vision went terribly blurry last night so I took my glasses off to clean them.  When I put them back on, it was worse.  I removed the glasses, looked at the computer, and I have had inexplicable return of 20/20 vision.  I have not needed ...

Strange Dentist GiftJul 21, 2010
So-- I'm in the dentist's chair all afternoon, having $2000 worth of work done. At the end, he asks me what kind of milkshake I would like from the restaurant chain down the street. I say no thanks. He says, Please, my treat, I insist! How could anyone say no! So I say vanilla. And he sends his assistant, who brings me back a giant chocolate milkshake. Which is the last thing I feel like eating, but I take it, to be polite. And give it to a family member. Who wants something frozen tou ...

Strange Behavior Of A FriendMay 16, 2014
Please no hateful responses.  I feel confused and a bit upset already. I simply wanted to know if I'm imagining things or being too sensitive. I became friends with gal a few years back. She was going thru a terrible time in her life (relationship) and was pretty withdrawn at times, understandably so.  I in turn, now have left a nasty relationship and like most people am struggling a bit with my grief, etc.  It was my decision to end it, hers unfortunately was not.  She ...

I've Got Kind Of A Strange Question - How Often Do You And Your Hubbies Have Sex?Apr 14, 2011
My husband is driving me nuts.  He is not working and every single day he comes in and interrupts my work wanting to have sex.  He's like a child.  He will not give up.  I tell him no, I need to work.  He sits there and says stupid stuff like "you'll enjoy it, I promise" blah, blah, blah. We are in our 40s and have been married for 21 years. I'm starting to get angry because he acts as though I work from home, he can interrupt me whenever he wants just li ...

Carson--what A Strange World We Live InNov 05, 2015
He finds it necessary to prove that he was violent to justify his seeming like a drug-induced state of calmness now.  How messed up that the neighbors from the old neighborhood are being interviewed and they all thought he was a calm person as a young adult ---and that is a bad thing that he is trying to discredit????? Personally, I think the drugs are wearing off and he is back to hallucinating.  God taking people to the moon and the pyramids used for grain storage.  Any other f ...

Strange Question - Do You Type With Your Legs Crossed?Jun 11, 2010
Somehow I got into the habit of doing this years ago and now I can't type with both feet on the ground anymore.  I had an awful time during the 4 months I spent in the cam walker with the broken foot last year because I couldn't cross my legs (right foot was broken, had to prop it and use the left foot). Anyone else with this strange habit?  I use the pedal with my right foot and have to have my left leg crossed over.  I also can't stand to have the little things ...

Short RantJan 02, 2012
For the last week I've been suffering right upper quadrant pain, had my gallbladder and appendix out ten years ago.   I finally gave in and went to our local Urgent Care Center and after three hours, a RUQ ultrasound, bloodwork and UA, they told me they couldn't figure it out and sent me home with a rx for hydrocodone and instructions to see my PMD the next day and get a referral to GI.   It turned out my doc was on vacation all week, and I coudln't function on hydrocod ...

For All You Short Drivers Out ThereMay 25, 2012

Strange Things Happening Today, Got A Haint At My House I GuessNov 28, 2009
Have a patio at the back of my house, had leaves all over it on Thanksgiving Day. Got up this morning and all the leaves in a neat little pile on the patio. Asked DH if he had swept those all up and he said nope, said probably the wind blowing had done but if that were so, why did not all the leaves in the yard blow into neat little piles? Also having breakfast close to sunroom. All the blinds closed and noticed a white spot that was the breakfast wall, next to sunroom. As I mentioned to DH, th ...

A Day Late And A Dollar ShortMay 25, 2011
Apparently we cannot afford to have any more disasters, and if you do, too bad for you.  According to the Republicans, you are out of luck if you have been unemployed too long or you will lose your Medicare if you are under 55; and now, if you are a victim of a disaster, they will have to think about helping you. *** "House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said Monday that if Congress passes an emergency spending bill to help Missouri’s tornado victims, the extra money will have to be ...
