Newsflash: Premiums to go up under Obamacare!

Posted: Mar 17, 2010

So he lied? Say it isn't so!

Now I know this is from Fox News....which left-wing liberals, including the White House, claim isn't a real news station. However, since Obama is having so much trouble getting HCR passed, he suddenly decided to give an exclusive interview tomorrow to...Fox News! Hosanna! He must have seen the light, LOL!

a strong man in the White house dedicated to torturing foreigners and chasing them breedin illegals back over the border and we get stuck with this guy who spent the last year tryin to HELP citizens. What a waste.

Where were you in the 90s? Still living at home with Mommy & Daddy? - Anon

[ In Reply To ..]
Well I wasn't. I was trying to raise 3 kids and paying 25% more than I did after Bush became president.

The truth is the Bush tax cuts helped everyone, not just the rich. In fact, under Bush, more people paid nothing at all.

Well, I hope you haven't gotten used to that, because the tax cuts expire this year and then everyone, including YOU, will be paying through the nose.

And you'll still continue to repeat the mantra that Obama won't raise taxes on people making less than $200k a year.

I guess you really can't fix stupid.

So how has he "helped" any citizen? - Anon

Have your premiums gone down within the last 10 years? Heard about the 30% increass from BC? Or do they skip that info on Faux news?

Newsflash, they're NOT going down with Obamacare either.... - Anon

Or did they skip that nugget on HuffPo or DailyKos? Do some research.

in other words they are going up in any case - bf

[ In Reply To ..]
imagine that. Prices on a product going up . . . that is a rare and strange occurrence.

Please have the nuggets - Polly

to stand firm in your convictions. michelle bachman one of your most outspoken clansman has proclaimed this would be illegal and you would not have to pay the taxes required for healthcare. I am hoping you will follow the Sage advice and take a stand instead of just sniping and complaining day after day. also, please report back to us how that goes. I hear you get about an hour of library time each week, depending upon which federal institution in which you will housed.

Was there really a need for that sarcasm? - I dont think so

The OP posted a message which happens to be true.

1. He lied. Yes he did.
2. People claim Fox news is not real news, yet BSNBC is.
3. Premiums are going up under Obamacare.
4. He losing in ratings so what does he do? Grant an interview to who? Fox of all places.

There was no need for you to be rude and you last comment was just plain nasty.

that's rich - Polly

requesting civility in response to negativity personified.
1. Just becoz u xpect presidents to be liars like W, Bush I, etc. don't mistake our current pres of being cut from the same cloth.
2. They claim it becoz it is true. Anyone who believes Faux is fair and balanced is a laughingstock in the world of even the most minimally educated.
3. Premiums are going up ANYWAY.
4. damned if he do, damned if he dont. Why bother to even acknowledge the fringies, I would advise him. He certainly has more productive things to do. But that is who he is, trying to bring Americans together.

Seriously, are you American? Are you an MT? - anon

You cons and your clumsy, oafish sense of humor. Guess that is why you have Dennis Miller and we have all the really funny guys.

If you could speak proper english - I dont think so
[ In Reply To ..]
And write properly we might be able to understand your message.

1. Obama is a liar. Time and time again since he's taken office he has proven himself to lie. I guess it's just something that comes natural to ALL presidents. Obama lies, Bush lied, Clinton lied, Nixon lied, Carter lied....they ALL lie.

2. If you don't like Fox station that is just fine. Personally I'll watch CNN. However, the news stories that I see Shephard Smith talk about on Fox happen to be the exact same news stories I see on CNN. I watched the balloon boy story on Fox and CNN and guess what they both told the same exact news story. The earthquakes in Haiti and Chili....again the same exact news stories. Oooh...what a concept.

There are different news stations for different people. If you don't like one then go to another. But please don't even try to pull that old liberal line about how one station does not give the news when I'M WATCHING THE SAME EXACT NEWS STORIES ON CNN!!!!!!!

3. Premium are going to rise under crapcare Obamacare!!! Fact! Deal with it.

4. Your line about "damned if he do, damned if he don't" Well just another pathetic liberal spew. Here's a news flash. All Presidents claim they want to bring America together but then do nothing to achieve that promise. Certainly not the past one and most definitely not the current one. In politics you will never have the country come together on all issues. But the current one certainly is not trying to bring Americans together. He's as decisive as the others, and he don't care. Just as long as he gets his agenda passed. He doesn't care whether or not anyone likes it.

Your response to my post?...yeah, that's rich alright.
and so on - polly
[ In Reply To ..]
1. repeating the same thing over and over and over does not make it true
2. Since when is CNN anointed as the standard in which to compare. After 15 repubs dropped out and then 2 dems dropped out of running again CNN had a crawl that said "dems leaving in droves" so shove that up your goiter.
3. Premiums are going to rise no matta wot.
4. "new flash" - overused. Find new cliches.
5. U R really revealing way too much of your personal pathology (mistrust of all authority, negativity, etc)in your posts and I would suggest you dial it back to at least a 7-8 to avoid the butterfly nets.
And I would suggest you take your rude attitude - back a notch or two
[ In Reply To ..]
You have no right to lecture anyone on this board.

Nobody is repeating the same thing over and over. If you are talking about Obama lying? Sorry, you can't deal with facing the facts but he does, he has and he will continue to. He's a politician! Sorry you can't handle that.

Who made you queen of knowing what TV stations give the true news and which don't. People watch different stations according to what they like. I get the same news stories on all stations and if you don't like that - who cares!

And lastly you don't even know me, so don't even go there. You don't know who I trust, who I don't, who I like, who I don't, or who I voted for or if I didn't vote. I suggest you take your attitude back a notch or two, how about that same 7-8 you mentioned in your post.

One more lastly....please learn English. It is this country's language. Not text messaging.
I dont take - Polly
[ In Reply To ..]
any of your insults personally as you are severely misanthropic. I dont take any of your opinions seriously because you r apparently a True Believer.
1. neither do you.
2. still repeating . . .
3. Queen of knowing, why silly gurl, I was merely stating why I do not take CNN as the standard for news reporting.
4. I know enuf about you, see paragraph #1.
5. Who are you "queen of standards of posting?"
6. There is help available but it would be a long, long road.
My apoligies to you...didn't realize you were on school break - I dont think so
[ In Reply To ..]
and only had a few minutes to text in your messages. Please let your mommy know what you've been doing.
you had to retreat - Polly

to your silly little insults when confronted with a superior intellect. At least be funny . . . You run the same tired scenario over and over.

Premiums Still Rising About As Fast Under ObamacareMar 24, 2016
That is, 30% in the 5 years before O-care, 28% in the 5 years after O-care.  But of course, that's not even the whole story.  Those are just the premiums.  When we look at other costs and also at what it all pays for (is the product as good?), the story is much, much worse. The deductibles are much higher.  Co-pays are higher.  Choice is far more limited.  And for all this added cost, many claims for services, medications and medical equipment that were cover ...

Nationwide, more than 4 million people living in 37 states would be in situations like these. Most would have no way to pay the higher bills, forcing them to drop insurance covera ...

Obamacare Is Failing From Behind... His Goals For ObamacareJul 20, 2016
1) Have it collapse so that single payer can be implemented amidst the ensuing chaos. 2) Have that happen on somebody else’s watch. Obamacare was designed to fail so the Democrats could “reform” it with complete government provided socialized medicine. That is the entire purpose for it. Obamacare is designed to collapse so they can backfill the vacuum with government run socialized medicine. Eventually, everyone will be on some form of Medicare. I believe that was one of Bernie’ ...

This Is My Take On Obamacare For Oct 03, 2013
So this is what I have learned.   After listening about the new health insurance, this is what I know. There are 3 levels of care/cost. Well after listening to a question and answer discussion on line program coming out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota hospital systems, it scared me greatly. If all the young people join this program, it will not help the older people who live on a fixed inc ...

When discussing the ACA or Obamacare, whichever you call it, remember that it is literally like comparing apples and oranges (and grapes, pineapple and maybe even potatoes).  Each state has different prices and different plans from the federal plan.  Some states now have only one company offering a plan through their state exchange.  Each plan has a different monthly cost, a different deductable and it goes on and on and on.  The requirements are different from state to state ...
