Could you please explain the difference?

Someone says (or posts an article) that says most members of the KKK are republican and shows on a map that most KKK chapters are in the south and in red states. Mind you not accusing any republican member of this board of being in the KKK. The thread gets removed and poster admonished.

Someone(s) almost daily accuses the democrats in this country of being communists or nazis, as well as many other inflammatory names (and baby talk names), and those posts are allowed to stand.

There seems to be a double standard here and the boundaries don't seem to apply equally to all.

absolutely no one in particular on the board and was deleted.

Many comments are hurtful, personally, to people on the board because they identify so strongly with a group that is being associated with the comment. Republicans and Democrats alike. IMO, that is the thick skin part.

Then report them. I see many conservative posts gone - Also, there is a difference

between being called a member of a political party that is here in the US than being told you are part of a group that either cuts off heads or tortures and kills black people.

I've seen many posts gone that are conservative and I would imagine that liberals are reporting them like crazy.

I see name calling from both sides. A couple days later they are gone, so I imagine the moderator does have a life and can't babysit the board 24/7.

There are very few posts that surprise me on this board with what people write about the side they hate, but when I read people say republicans and ISIS are the same thing or the KKK is republican that does make my jaw drop to believe some people actually drop to that level to post garbage here.

Yes it is very offensive to be told you are part of a group that beheads people or burns and tortures black people. That makes my skin crawl and stomach turn to see such vile hatred for a party that they would post absolute garbage like that, let alone believe it. I guess for some if it's written by their party they believe it whether or not its true. I guess the media does their job well. They know it's hateful and hurtful to posters here, so why even post it. Does it really give people jollies to have so much hate they try to get the other side upset.

Then when the filth is removed we are told they were only trying to "inform", as if they are trying to teach us a lesson or something.

I see no double standards here. I'm sure moderator is busy. If you don't like a post then report it. But when a post is gone because it contains the vilest and hateful message don't be surprised.

Also, my understanding from reading past posts by the moderator is that people are reporting other posts just because they don't like what is being said when it contains nothing that is reportable. I read the constant whining from liberal posters that they don't want to have to read someone else's opinion and then they turn around and say conservatives want their own board. I don't read any posts whining by conservatives after their posts are removed. If I have a post removed (which I have had in the past) I own up to it and tell the moderator I'm sorry and will think before posting again. The modertaor has a hard enough time having to read through all this. I know she has said before she's going through the board, but she has other things going on. To try and decipher things like someone talking about an issue and saying sometimes people need to read other things than their own favorite websites and think outside the box, which I'm sure people probably report that as any excuse they can hateful, personal attack and other posts saying you this you that, you belong to a group that cuts off heads and tortures black people, etc are two different things.

Call me a commie, liberal, nazi, conservative. Even call me a racist (which btw has no meaning anymore because it's been overused incorrectly), call me a racial slur or whatever you want, but to tell me I'm part of the group that cuts off heads or tortures people because of their skin color goes way past reasonable and I should not have to read that garbage here. Especially when it's not true.

IMHO I think this board needs more cleaning up and people should think twice about posting vile, hateful posts telling other posters they are part of the most hateful groups in the world that has no quams in showing their hatred by torturing and killing innocent people.

I come from many different backgrounds and it is very sickening to the stomach to read these posts, let alone that some people actually believe it.

Believe me, being told I'm a communist or a green party or conservative or other party member is much different than being told I support and am part of a group that cuts off heads or tortures and kills black people dragging them behind cars or throwing acid on them.

As Americans I think we should treat others how we want to be treated. We are all struggling through life. I believe we all are striving for the same thing (decent jobs, a roof over our heads, good education for our kids, warms clothes, food, and some money left over so we can do something fun and don't have to worry about our future, among other things). When our politicians are not working for us and only for themselves to enrich themselves, buy another yacht or mansion and don't care about us because their friends with money gets them put into positions of power, we need to address those people and stop attacking our fellow Americans. This group has pitted friends against friends, family members against family members, and neighbors against neighbors and for what? To sit back and watch your friend, or family member, or just another decent human being get upset and sit back with glee because they are the cause of it. As Americans we should be coming together. Who cares about parties. There are good and bad in all parties and they all work for the same gamekeeper - and they are sitting back enjoying the show of us all ripping each other apart.

I'm also reading the board and I do not see any post where anyone is saying "you are a commie"

I posted an article later in response to someone who said that the Democratic Party formed the KKK, and that article was also removed. There was nothing about that article that was particularly inflammatory.

The post was even quoted and the hateful article said it too. When a post and article says Modern KKK are republicans that means exactly that. They are stating that the KKK are republicans because that is what is they wrote.

Here's the way this whole thing is unfolding...

Liberals want to come on and insult conservatives. They want to claim they are KKK and that they are equal to ISIS. They want to call them Nazi's and call Bush a dictator (which, hey, could care less about what you call a politician - no Bush fan here). They want to come on and tell you that if you listen to Fox news you are stupid, brainwashed, Faux, Faukahontis (haw, haw, haw), etc. They want to call you whatever they can get away with and try and make the association that the group you associate with are the same as the ones who cut off heads and torture and kill black people. They want to call you a racist and whatever other hurtful name they can think of cos, hey, let just see who can outdo the insults.

However, they don't want anyone to call Obama a name, they only want to hear good things. They want to make comments that they think certain republican politicians look like animals, but they don't want you to say what you think democrat politicians look like (and especially anything bad about Hillary). They want to call you a Nazi and racist, but you can't call them a commie or write that they are supporting communists. They'll come out and claim that the democrat has already won the 2016 election and when you say you believe a republican will win they tell you it's too early to say. They post polls when it favors their side, but when you post polls that favor the republican side they say polls mean nothing. They do not like anyone to post the facts of what this administration is doing to the people of the country. They post articles from unknown people and say it is credible (because it supports their view), but then turn around and say that Fox or any other conservative site is not credible. You get pounded and chewed up if we post blogs, but then they turn around and post blogs (which I happen to like blogs - that is if when I cross check the information and I find it's correct. I also like alternative news sites, because....well, because when I post something from an alternative news site I get cut and chewed up about it, yet within week the same article makes it to the main stream media and then posted here by the same ones who chewed me up because it came from an alternative site.

The hypocrisy is so obvious.

However, that is not what the post said or suggested in black and white or any other color scheme. No one claimed republicans are KKK, and no one claimed republicans are equal to ISIS.

You spend a lot of time in your post referring to liberals and what "they want." There are lots of assumptions and presumptions. I think it's important to separate your personal bias from reality.

You can say over and over and over it didn't say it, but that does not change the fact that it said that. The article and post stated different. To say it didn't say it when it clearly did is an untruth.

Why on top of the post about Romney's religion, sending it to the faith board? He is of a faith that has for years promoted prejudice nad all kinds of crazy stuff.
