And JUST LOOK at the ridiculous non-offensive words which are all of a sudden considered sooooo offensive by some of the "thick skinners" that they have to be edited... even though the same words are being used in the news and by politicians.

Some folks are just looking for fairness here. Either hands off and no editing unless a clear violation of the TOS or equal editing.

Seriously... in what world is "big boy and girl pants" offensive but calling a group of people "dims" okay? Remember.... tea bagger is a huge no-no here (even though some identified themselves as that before consulting Urban Dictionary).

As for the word teab****er. Do you even realize how offensive that is? No, I can tell you don't. Probably the one who likes to post it just to offend. It's offensive. I asked a friend one time (who happens to be a black conservative) what is the first word that comes to her mind when you say teab***er. Her response was n**ger. She said it is equally offensive because everyone knows what it means when used in a derogatory sense no matter how stupid they like to play. It doesn't matter what an urban dictionary says. It's offensive, people have been told its offense. When someone tells you something is offense you cease to use the term anymore. It's one of those human qualities I see many hear lack.

You want insults, ridicule, etc. Read the board. Of course if you are liberal you think its okay to rag on other people to the point where you bully them away. Good for your side of course because now you don't have to read the truth and what is going on. Now you can all live in your fantasy land where there will be lollipops and puppydogs all day long and you can worship your lord all you want.

But start from the top of the board and read down each and every post. The hatred from the left is abdunantly clear. When a conservative posts something and get bombarded with insults, yeah, they get a bit frustrated. Ridicule telling them their links are not valid, etc. etc.

I don't know why liberals get things backwards. Cannot see what is going on and understand a situation and what it will mean. They post outright lies, find one liberal article by a blogger and say see there is nothing wrong with this or everything is going to be okay, but if its a conservative blogger we are told "he's just a blogger, your article doesn't matter.

I don't understand a liberals mind, probably for good reason (I'd go insane). All I know is when I can see facts for what they are and a liberal twists them around to suit their own needs so they can insult others, well I know why I don't understand their mind. It's just lost of the critical thinking skills needed to function in the real world.

The point is that the editing/deleting is NOT being done fairly by the moderator. If it was, "dims" (short for dimwits dontcha know) and many other snipes would have not only been edited, but edited in the same timely manner that other "offensive" terms have been ****ed out.

I would wager that most of us here on the left have been edited for language far less inflammatory than what we experience from the right. In fact, the editing is frequently so instantaneous, it either represents QUITE a coincidence, or indicates someone from the right complained. So let's get is straight for the record: This is not about whining. This is about fairness.

If you folks had any sense at all (or maybe I should say "any ***** at all") you would support and contribute to a sense of fair play.

This means:

1. Don't get your knickers in a twist if we refer to big boy pants.

2. Don't play Urban Dictionary with us when we say teabagger, or I'll show you a nice old lady with teabags on her hat.

3. Don't accuse us of whining or post stupid remarks like "waaawaaaaa" when WE are not the ones protected by authority.

4. If YOU get to refer to our hate, we get to refer to your lack of comprehension.

Why on top of the post about Romney's religion, sending it to the faith board? He is of a faith that has for years promoted prejudice nad all kinds of crazy stuff. Romney says his religion shaped him and made him what he is today. I think that makes his faith VERY relevant to the politics board. Where have all of the posts at the bottom of the board gone? It seems as if once they hit the bottom of the page, they drop into some big black hole somewhere, never to be seen again. LOL! As there ar every few nays to this suggestion, I'm hoping for a vote to make this a new category. Everyone, not just MTs, are feeling the pinch nowadays. It would be wonderful and I believe very, very helpful to compare ideas and suggest sites that help with pinching pennies!! Even saving $50 a month in cost savings is a big deal today.
