Posting here and trying to convince whoever how much you hate Trump and they should hate him too? Seems like some people should have better things to do.

What do you get out of posting hate on this board. Serious question.

I think that the people you're referencing are consumed with an irrational hatred of Trump influenced by the media and Democratic politicians. What they get out of it, I can't say for sure. Maybe they feel some sort of pleasure in voicing so much hatred and vitriol? I would hope not but the tone of many of these posts would argue that they do. I think the worst posts I've read are those that compare him to Hitler. If one can rationalize what is happening in our country, it is the conservatives fighting for free speech, freedom of religion and the liberals trying to shut down any opposing views. To me, that's what Hitler did, so how can liberals compare Trump to Hitler when they appear to be following along in Hitler's footsteps?

It's like liberals will find anything they can to hate about Trump and conservatives in general yet they cannot see the corruption that is being uncovered on the part of Democrats. I don't get it - is it more important to be "right" than moral? I mean, it's like they want to prove they're right about everything/one they hate yet turn a blind eye to reality. But this is all just one person's view.

Congress in general is immoral. Both sides. You generalize democrats and that is not fair, vice versa. We are not all blind. That is your problem, you don't see that. I would not call it an "irrational hatred" of Trump but maybe a love of country. Perhaps there is a starting ground. I do not believe either side argues against freedom of religion or free speech, but yes they will have differing opinions. And both sides accuse the other of thinking something that not everyone thinks. You are a perfect example. You say "They cannot see the corruption being uncovered on the part of Democrats." People are not that misinformed. However, at the same time you act like there is no corruption on the part of Republicans and you know better than that. It would be better to stick to facts and not generalize, or insult and name call so much. It makes your point invalid in my view. Use facts and figures to back up your opinion. If someone is right, they are right no matter which side they are on. However, using Obama, Hillary, Regan, Bush or anything else that has nothing to do with the issue at hand to prove a point is just plain a mute point. They are no longer around, and that is turning a blind eye to reality. Try justifying your opinion instead of name calling or using words like "hate." If Obama lied, fine, that is a point well made, however do not use that to justify anything Trump does/does not do. People need to learn respectful communication.

I am a Democrat and I do not stand for any of those things. Could you please try to refrain from acting like "Democrats" are one person. I certainly do not think ALL Republicans share the same opinion. Why do you use the word leadership? None of these people at any level of government, either side, should be considered "leaders." They are elected officials who are "supposed to" WORK FOR US. Boehner had set it up to undermine the administration, without telling the White House that he had been invited, and to snub the Obama efforts at negotiating a deal with Iran about not producing nuclear weapons. There is a distinct division between "traditional" liberals and the rabid liberals we see who are most certainly anti freedom of speech. If people want to waste their time (and that is all it is for ALL of us) on a political board, so be it. I maybe anti-Trump but I do not "hate" anyone, and I do not try to convince anyone else to hate either. You guys really like to throw that word around, as if you can justify your own views with that one simple word, along with a few other choice words. Putting all party aside, there is a blatantly mentally ill man in our White House who needs help at the VERY least from his own party and is either not getting it or refusing it. Succeed? It was being given money. People did his work for him because he had money. The intelligent people around him now are afraid of someone who has demanded to be served his whole life. BTW when someone finally does something about this it will be likely one of the intelligent people around him who decides that his behaviors can no longer be ignored. The poster is not qualified to diagnose a person she has never met and at best may have edited a psychiatric report of someone who is qualified to diagnose because they met and tested the patient.

Real rational people do not diagnose people they have never met with mental illness and in particular rational people who have NO TRAINING do not diagnose people with mental illness.

First and foremost, you are not qualified to make any diagnosis (and it's not even a diagnosis).

Second, and more importantly, the unhinged liberals are the ones who are proving they are mentally ill and this post proves that.

It doesn't matter about party or no party. President Trump is far far far from being "mentally ill man". In fact he proves that every day. Just saw something on TV which helps people be speed readers, working started slowly and then got up to 600 wpm. I could keep up with it because that is my line of work, just scanning words as fast as my eyes will go. I recently took the action to move a post from this board to the faith board and wanted to explain why. The post in itself was because someone does not agree with the mormon religion and she went on to post her opinions about a religion. The content of the message was not political, except that it mentioned a politicians name, but nothing about politics itself.
