straight to his face. LOL - wonder if he got a tingle down his leg from that. Doubt it. I haven't watched the video yet. Will later. I did see flipping channels last night Chrissy actually doing a commercial for Obamacare. Unbelievable. Journalism is dead.

how to descend into “no-you-are/no-you-are” sandbox mode when trying to derail a subject he’s ill-prepared to talk about, the same tactic we’ve seen surface on this forum time and time again. It’s a transparent anger management mechanism that kicks in when cons are trying to address facts that threaten to pull back the curtain of secrecy they’ve wrapped around their campaign, when feeling intimidated by their own shortcomings which their opponents have just exposed. Sununu throws in a couple of emphatic and repetitive declarative nonsequiturs for good measure.

The exchange focused on Johnny Boy’s squirming around in his seat while Matthews hit him with volley after volley of instances that illustrate feigned differences between the R&R budgets, in an effort to get his guest to stay on task and articulate the finer points of claims the guest had just made. Matthews asked him why Papa Romney is already trying to distance himself from the Ryan budget, the central reason the weekend polls showed more people felt Romney’s VEEP pick was “wrong or poor” as opposed to “good or excellent.” Matthews even tried to help him by posing a couple of explanations for that.

When JS gave responses that reflected alleged differences between the two budgets plans, he seemed confused and got all flustered because he didn’t want to give the impression there was already friction between the ticket-mates. There was also a conflict over which candidate was “on top” of the Ryan/Romney ticket. Sununu didn't know how to handle Team Romney’s rules of engagement of spelling out rhetorical taboos, such as Romney’s Bain capital experience and tax return nondisclosure problems and the new rule Sununu was trying to introduce that dialogue on Ryan’s budget is “off limits.” Matthews: "In other words, whatever these guys have done before we can’t talk about." When JS tried to hang the $700 billion number on Obama and Chris pointed out the Ryan budget contained the exact same number, the fluster reared its ugly head again, and he snapped back that it wasn’t in the ROMNEY budget, the details on which we are told we must “trust them.”

The takeaway is that Matthews succeeded in showing just how innocuous Sununu’s “because-I-said-so, THAT’S why” argument is, and how voters would be inclined to agree.

that Romney and Ryan can take parts of each plan and combine them to make one? Two people can't possibly think exactly the same, if each has a brain, and they are conservatives, so I assume they don't travel lockstep with each other like the Obama sheeple do. but clearly, on review of both plans, doing so would be an exercise in futility as the end product would be equally as bad for seniors, the unemployed, single moms and their hungry kids, low-income workers, students, and middle-class taxpayers, some of whom are trying to piece together a couple of part-time jobs, the pay for which is stuck in stagnant. Logic is absent from cons arguments to the contrary as so many gems of wisdom tell us: Two wrongs don't cut it, the good ole silk-purse/sow's ear conundrum, lipstick on a pig, etc, etc.

Do you know anything about "Johnny Boy?" Look up Mega Society. He can wipe the floor with any of the Kool-Aid drinkers on MSNBC or CNN. They are not a match for him and he makes them look like buffoons.

Be that as it may, Sununu was excellent in the "interview," as always. He can tangle with any lib and come out on top.

I have a really dumb question. I have moderately severe osteoarthritis of my hip. I am finding it increasingly difficult to sit at a desk or table for longer than 15 or 20 minutes at a time. I find I am fairly more comfortable sitting on my recliner sofa and it's easier on my hip. Do any of you work at a desk or table? Do you have any suggestions.
