I see conservatives won in GB, and got a majority too.

And despite the polls, too. Well, well.

Shady stuff. At least Nigel Farage and the UKIP lost too - GB's far right party
[ In Reply To ..]
Nigel Farage is kind of like the "Ted Cruz" of Great Britain, I'm very glad he didn't win and is stepping down, he was making his way up the ladder. If he or anyone from the UKIP was our biggest ally's PM or even Deputy PM, I'd consider it precursor and book my tickets today for Costa Rica before our 2016 election.
But apparently, the far right is very upset with this strange outcome, too, so this situation has divided even the conservatives from one another (center-rights from the far rights).
I cannot understand any conservative party in Britain anyway. Though the non-UKIP conservatives are considered more socially progressive (less "racist/bigoted") than our conservatives and the queen is cool and all that, I don't understand complaining about government spending, but then supporting taxation to give a significant amount of money to support a predominantly figurehead Queen. The fact that she owns much of GB's green space that needs maintenance and preservation, I get, but not much else.
I do wish we at least had the option for coalition cabinet like they do, though. I could deal with Hillary and Jeb if one was Prez and the other one was Veep, they could rein in the other one if they go too whack lol
Looks Like Democrats Have The 60-vote Majority!Nov 21, 2009 In a show of unity, Senate Democrats sealed a 60-vote majority needed to advance health care legislation Saturday ahead of an evening showdown with Republicans eager to doom the bill and inflict a punishing defeat on President Barack Obama.
Two final holdouts, Sens. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana and Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, announced in speeches a few hours apart on the Senate floor they would vote to clear the way for what is expected to be a bruising, full-scale health care debate after Than ... What The Majority Of The People Want Re Tax CutsDec 03, 2010 "here’s what the public said about the Bush tax cuts, according to the exit polls last month: 40 percent said to continue ALL of the cuts, 36 percent said to continue them for families who earn less than $250,000 a year, and an additional 15 percent said to expire them for all. The Bizarre Notion That Muslims Must Become A MajorityJul 16, 2016 Someone posted an (incorrect) analysis regarding the theoretical increase in the Muslim population in America. It failed to take a number of factors into account and was slanted in a painfully obvious way toward her position, but that's not what I'm discussing here.
