What happened? I thought the pubs were going to take the senate majority

[ In Reply To ..]Republicans gained 63 house seats and has thankfully dethrowned Queen Pelosi. There hasn't been a gain in the house like that since the 1930s I believe. We gained 3 senate seats as well. Granted the democrats still have the majority in the senate but they definitely don't have as big of a majority as they did.
So Obama can either refuse to work with his "enemies" or he can perhaps eat some humble pie and come to terms that his agenda was ticking Americans off and should meet republicans halfway. I highly doubt he will pull a Clinton and meet halfway merely because he is so arrogant.....but we will see.

He needs to remember that all parties aside, no one wants to see him fail. When he fails, the country fails. I hope he can work well with the house, and if he wants any chance at winning another election, he will.
