I feel I should apologize

To the OP of the military vote suppression thread, I'm sorry if I insulted you. I tend to see everything as humorous, even serious situations, and went for the quick, stupid laugh, rather than address your statements directly. I want to assure you that I meant nothing personal by it. My friends and I all share a similar sense of humor, so we often poke fun at one another in a very similar way, so I'm a bit too used to verbal rough housing. I didn't mean to be condescending, yet I certainly was.
To point out my own ignorance in all this, as Bootstraps mentioned right before it was taken down, I didn't even notice the article was from 2010, so the joke was definitely on me. My eyes are mainly vestigial organs at this point:)
