I am beginning to feel sorry for those that

Posted: Jan 13, 2016

Eight years that you could have experienced a genuine person in politics instead of that stuff that has been elected in the past. I feel sorry for you as people, that you cannot understand real people, that you have been so brainwashed by the right that the world has really been turned upside down for you. http://www.addictinginfo.org/2016/01/12/what-his-friend-barack-did-when-son-beau-got-sick-brings-joe-biden-to-the-brink-of-tears-video/ And, BTW, the next real person to be elected will be Bernie Sanders. There is some hope for America, Obama was elected twice and Bernie Sanders is coming on strong. Real people to represent real people.;

Feel sorry for your children and grandchildren - Not a Kool-Aid drinker

after this president added a whopping 9 trillion dollars to the already 9 trillion existing when he took office 8 years ago. Remember how he promised to tackle that debt, actually campaigned he was the one to fix it? Al-Qaeda is on the run? If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. ACA will save you $1500 a year? He is a blamer, a whiner, has disastrous unemployment numbers contrary to what he stated, unless you are in the Pacific Rim, India, etc. Letting our known enemies into the country, free healthcare for illegals. HB1 Visas, Dreamers. No raises in SS for seniors, VA system a disaster. Yes, he has something for everyone except US citizens. Puhleeze..............

Sounds like you could be a Bernie Sanders supporter... - sm

He is the only candidate that supports protecting and expanding Social Security. He also supports our veterans 100% and says war should be a last resort, and if you cannot take care of them when they come home, don't send them to war.

I didn't write the post to which you replied, however, I am a republican supporting Sanders. - anon

are looking to retire early, and now the right is all gung-ho about reducing Social Security and Medicare. Or worse, doing away with them completely.
Can you substantiate your claim? - sm

I think this may be one of those feed lines from the mainstream media, but if it is true, please provide a link for verification.

I don't. Not one bit. We've tried to tell them - over and over. - No sympathy here.

Obama had a chance. - I had hope.

[ In Reply To ..]
I had hope that his change would do some good. He had an opportunity to go down as a great uniter instead of a great divider. I did not vote for him either time, but the first time I was not displeased. I thought it would be great to be witness to a legacy in the making. Sadly, the only legacy he created is more divisiveness, more racial tension, more support for Islamic terrorists, more government corruption, more misuse of taxpayer money for vacations, more brainwashing of sheeple (who really buy into it), more lies about health care, inability to deal with Syria's red line, inability to deal with threats from NK, etc., etc. It's time to get a true American in the White House, one who still believes in the Constitution and all principles put forth by our founding fathers.

The only thing you have experienced more - of is the conservative line

[ In Reply To ..]
The conservatives were the dividers, some of them on racist lines, others just on politics. The only racial tension he brought was by BEING black, the division followed by others. He did not and does not support Islamic terrorist, that's just right wing propaganda, Government corruption (no more/no less???) Cheney comes to mind for government corruption, Vacations is just plain ignorant, healthcare was pirated by the insurance companies (I would just love for Bernie Sanders to really stick it to them this time), the rest of the comment is just GO TO WAR...which takes us back to those disappointed grandchildren and children, at least they might be alive instead of in body bags provided by Halliburton, no doubt.

9 trillion dollars in debt all by himself! - sm

As much as ALL previous Presidents combined and you want to talk racism, conveniently forgetting Obama is half white and was raised by whites? Are you the same poster who comes on here everyday and uses the race card? It is really getting boring. He has a disastrous record, if only you could open your eyes and see beyond his color.
Racism is real--it is not a card - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Republicans stated they would not work with him in any way, shape or form. They had meetings to confirm their convictions when he was elected. (I know of racism in the populace regarding Obama, I don't know the congressmen).

The economy is a mixed bag. Bush and Obama both contributed $$ to the debt.

I do know more employed people and a better economy than the prior presidency. I'm not sure what price or value is placed on Americans in harm's way.

And, I don't know if I am the poster you are accusing of playing a card. The avoidance of racism is the problem, not people who bring it up. It is a complex subject and cannot and will not be discussed here. There really aren't enough open minds to even scratch the surface.
I have mixed race children, a sister who - sm

married a Native American Indian, and I have never seen any of them play victim, be a victim, or believe they were/are a victim of anybody! I have never heard them b**tch and moan as people on this board do regarding race and ethnicity when it comes to Obama.
Probably depends a lot on where you live - nm

I could never figure out why the right is so ready - to send our young men off to war,

[ In Reply To ..]
but once they return, often maimed and/or messed-up emotionally, they are ON THEIR OWN. It's bad enough that they were sent into harm's way in a war we should never have been involved with in the first place, and not paid enough for their services. But to be shoved aside, given bottom-of-the-barrel medical care (if any), and often to end up living under freeway overpasses, is why I think the Draft should still exist - only for supporters of the GOP.
They reinstate the draft, they had darned - well better draft women too

Yep. All of 'em. Send Americans to war, - send YOUR kids first. Front lines.

Protesters against gay marriage expected to arrive later in the morning, according to the article.  Let's hope the whole thing remains peaceful. On Wednesday, the court will consider the 1996 federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which limits the definition of marriage to opposite-sex couples. Why Do I Always Feel Fat?Aug 20, 2013
Anybody else have a body complex where they ALWAYS feel fat, or is it just me?  I would LOVE to be happy with my body, but I can't and it frustrates me.  A few years ago I was a size 20 and I decided to make some lifestyle changes.  My goal was a size 12 and ended up getting down to a size 6 and was ecstatic!  I was happy with this for maybe a year or so, but then I started feeling "fat" again.  I obsess over every single thing I eat, I stair at my naked body in the ...

To the OP of the military vote suppression thread, I'm sorry if I insulted you.  I tend to see everything as humorous, even serious situations, and went for the quick, stupid laugh, rather than address your statements directly.  I want to assure you that I meant nothing personal by it.  My friends and I all share a similar sense of humor, so we often poke fun at one another in a very similar way, so I'm a bit too used to verbal rough housing.  I didn't mean to ...

I Feel The NRA Is Out Of Control.Jan 09, 2013
They're threatening to sue the Tucson Police Department because the police department wants to destroy guns turned in via their buyback program. The NRA is upset, saying it's illegal to destroy the guns and they have to be sold to a licensed firearms dealer. Those guns were willingly handed over by citizens and are now the PD's property. The PD are the people who actually put themselves on the line and deal with situations arising from firearms, and if they want to destroy them, ...

How Do You Feel About Kids And CTs Or X-rays?Dec 08, 2009
A lot of doctors that I transcribe for are telling their patients as old as 18 not to get any kind of radiology done that they might not need because of the risk of cancer later in life.  When my son was 1 he fell down the basement stairs and the doctor had told me this, but also told me that the risk was very small and that it is better to know than not to know.  I think that CTs, X-rays, etc. are good things.  I have heard of so many stories where the person goes ...

Christmas Gatherings, How Would You Feel?Dec 16, 2009
Every year since my 2000 wedding have spent Christmas Day with hubs family (have daughter by another marriage, grown and out of the home). My SIL (hubby's brother's wife) and I have exchanged the dinners since the other participants really too old (70s and 80s) to host everyone, quite an ordeal to arrange for say about 15 people. I hosted dinner in 2007 and asked last year by SIL to host again and she would do this year. Have heard nothing about dinner until yesterday (10 days prior to ...

Do You Feel Your Age Or Younger/olderOct 22, 2010

Just curious if people feel their age or older/younger than your age.  You don't have to list your age if yo ...
