House Pet Owners -- Recommended Vacuum Please!!!Feb 02, 2012I recently sprung for a new vacuum, an LG total care, fell in **love** with the suction and many great features. However after 2 months, it quit on me. Sent it back (5-yr parts and labor warranty) and when it came back, it worked 10 min and quit again. I have animals in the house, old carpet with occasional strings that come out, and need something that works really good. I would very much appreciate your input. Would prefer esp to hear from those who have owne ...
To The MT Who Recommended Jergens Hand Cream...THANK YOU!!Sep 18, 2010I am, strike that, WAS a diehard loyalist to Vaseline Intensive Care lotion, just because that's what ma always had at the kitchen sink. Then I read on here that someone loved the scent of Jergens lotion and that it gave them a "lift" during their shift.
So, I was in the store the other day and saw this stuff...popped open the cap and sniffed it and nearly died on the spot. Pure heaven that fragrance! So, I bought a medium-sized bottle. That night I came home and dr ...
So, My Highly Intrusive Neighbor...Oct 09, 2012She is nosey, in everyone's business and exceptionally bossy. I had thrown away a basket and came home from vacation to a very long voicemail about how she had found the basket, retrieved it and gave it to another neighbor. She then berrated me REPEATEDLY about throwing away things that other people can use, and informed me that she is European (no kidding) and Europeans do not throw beautiful things away.
I have no idea how she figured out it was my basket to begin with, but a ...
I Highly Recommend Duolingo WebsiteMar 15, 2014Stressed out and surfing the web? I found out about a website called Duolingo, where you can take a language course - I'm learning French, started Spanish also. It is wonderful to take your mind off your problems, and maybe is a "dementia preventative" like crossword puzzles are supposed to be.
So at the end of the day (month, year), instead of just surfing the web, reading political websites, etc, you actually have something to show for it: You know some French, can read ...
Just Heard Charles Payne (who I Highly Respect) Saying That (sm)Jan 20, 2014(paraphrasing) he had high hopes that BO would be able to advance the country, take it to the next level as far as race relations, as MLK would have wanted and himself did. Instead, he uses the day to go back to one of his speeches about how "some folks don't like him because he's black." He said there is a lot he could have done but always prefers to set us on a backward course to stir up his base. Once again, you've nailed it, Charles. ...

Coffee - Help, AnaPSep 19, 2011Got it - sipping my first cuppa cappy. Works great, great foam, squirt of chocolate syrup, but nowhere can I find the amount of grounds to use (filling water to second line). My first cup was ungodly weak so I tossed it. This is better but still weaker than I liike. How much grounds should I use? ...
Coffee Craving!Dec 02, 2009This is the halfway point in my workday. I usually head to a local coffee shop for my fix. My favorite this season is the pumpkin spice. So delish! I also like the creme brulee, but it's so sweet. I hope there's something new on the menu today! I'm going to get a muffin too.
I'm having a fairly productive day and I'm going to toast to my co-workers in MT-land and wish you to have a good afternoon also! Salute! ...
Coffee Suggestions?Sep 10, 2011I buried this question in a thread below, but would like advice on a good decaf for my new cappuccino maker I just ordered. I love coffee, but caffeinated makes me feel uncomfortably wired and hyper. ...
Coffee MachineFeb 20, 2011Wondering if anyone can recommend a good (but affordable) one-touch cappucino and latte machine, one that uses coffee beans, not one that you have to use pods with.
Thanks for any help! ...
How Much Coffee Do You Drink A Day?Jan 23, 2014Just curious to know how much coffee you are all drinking per day. I have an espresso machine and I make 2 large lattes a day, both with about 4 shots of espresso each. I will also have one cup of regular coffee in the late afternoon just to get my through my mind numbing job. I'm wondering if I'm drinking too much?!!? ...
Coffee Time, Shipwrecked!Sep 16, 2011Got my Mukka and my Kimbo Italian imported coffee and...
WOW.
My husband helped me figure out to set up the pot and it's just beyond amazing. The espresso is excellent. No diss to Starbucks, but THIS is espresso. It seriously takes 4 minutes with the 2-cup model I purchased to have the perfect cappy right in front of you. I'm still in awe at how the espresso brews from the bottom up through the fillter into the milk, heating it all to a perfect temperature.&nb ...

Brown Teeth From CoffeeMar 19, 2012I saw how may coffee lovers we have on this board below, and I am certainly one of them, but I just can't stand how brown my teeth turn when I drink it. Any tips to keep this from happening? I brush twice a day, and I even gave up tea and coffee for a couple of months and my teeth turned back to white. I want to go for some interviews outside the house and don't want to be afraid of my smile. Dental treatments seem kind of pricey, but may go that route or else have to give up coffe ...
A Healthier Choice For CoffeeSep 15, 2010I have provided Transcription equipment to transcription companies and transcriptionists for 9 years and I have know that many transcriptionists have to have coffee to survive. i came across an amazing new healthier coffee. That gives you a natural boost without the crash and jitters. IT also good for those who suffer from Acid reflux.
If you would like some more information let me know. I love the coffee and how it has really helped my family with different health issues

Keurig Coffee MakerJun 13, 2010Had company a few weeks ago and they bought a Keurig coffee maker for us along with a variety of coffe "pods".
So far, I have not found a coffee we like as much as Folger's 100% Columbian medium dark roast. All the ones we tried seem either too strong too acidic. Looking for suggestions on which coffee to try.
Not sure I would have purchased one of these "gadgets" as it is pricey and the "pods" are pricey, but it is nice for that first cup in the a.m. and even a late afternoon ...
Happy Coffee LoverNov 24, 2012I finally found the perfect coffee maker! Since there's only me, and I only drink one large mug of coffee day, there's no point in making a whole pot of coffee. I've never liked the single-cup makers with the proprietary pods, since you never really know how fresh the coffee is, besides being expensive. Then I found the perfect maker - a Hamilton Beach Scoop. It lets you use your own coffee, and requires no filters. It lets you choose between&nb ...

Coffee Breaks Without Losing ProductivityOct 22, 2009Thought I'd share -- I finally found a way to get a fresh cup of coffee in under 2 minutes (fingers not typing=no money)... I found a great website that delivers single serve coffee makers & machines. The machine brews in about 45 seconds, so I'm back at it faster. What's even better, my 10-year-old can now make me a cup because it's so easy to use. My 6 a.m. shift is a little easier now :)

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee CakeApr 01, 2012I just made the most scrumptious blueberry sour cream coffee cake. It was so moist and sweet, but not too sweet. DH told me it tasted like something we used to get in Germany. So I wanted to pass on the recipe if anyone is interested. I can't wait til later to have another piece. The recipe said to use a mixer, but I creamed the butter and sugar with a fork (my mixer is packed away), then I used a wire whisk to mix the rest. I also used a bundt pan, but am sure it could be made in ano ...

Coffee Mugs, Good MugsJun 19, 2015I just had a question about good coffee mugs. Is there a maker in the US that guarantees no lead in their products? Might sound like a silly question, but I want to know if any of you just buy certain brands or does not matter.
Thank you for sincere replies!
