Got my Mukka and my Kimbo Italian imported coffee and...
WOW.
My husband helped me figure out to set up the pot and it's just beyond amazing. The espresso is excellent. No diss to Starbucks, but THIS is espresso. It seriously takes 4 minutes with the 2-cup model I purchased to have the perfect cappy right in front of you. I'm still in awe at how the espresso brews from the bottom up through the fillter into the milk, heating it all to a perfect temperature. You push down the little pressure valve on the top and when it's reached the ideal temperature and ultimate foam, it makes a "puff" kind of like a tea kettle and emits a sharp little whistle-type sound. At that point, you just pull it off the burner long enough to put your sugar flavored syrup or whatever your "poison" is into your cup and pour. You can also use a spoon to scrape out any leftover foam. The REALLY cool part is, the foam stays put the entire time you're drinking the coffee and doesn't dissipate into the coffee like the Starbucks cappys do. My hubby fresh ground some cinnamon for me to sprinkle on top and tomorrow he's going to pick up a set of those mini (4 oz) Tornani flavored syrups for me, as well as Godiva chocolate bar to have fresh-grated chocolate on top of the foam, too.
I'm shamelessly addicted to this machine after only 2 days. Now I'm going to pick up a blender this weekend so I can turn the "cappy" into "frappy" and have the best of both worlds. And, if you need any help, You Tube has a bunch of Mukka insructional videos that guide you step by step from assembling to putting in the contents to pouring. And clean-up is a breeze.
I'm anxious to hear what you think of yours or if you've gotten it yet...Let me know your take on it. I think I'll be using mine for a VERY long time, LOL!
