Don't see Maher and Matthews feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless?

Bringing this up from thread below, where right-winger rant is ongoing. Typically, the poster is mindlessly pulling stuff out of thin air and making wildly uninformed claims, which obviously have not been researched. I'm always more than happy to accommodate this sort of information deficit.

Bill Maher donates to the following charities:

US Comic Relief. Aids the homeless and people in need, particularly disaster relief.

The RFK Memorial. Advancing the cause of global human rights. Support of human rights advocates, journalists and writers. Founder Kerry Kennedy’s special interest is in human rights abuses (including instances of same at the hands of immigration officials) against refugee immigrants.

Global Green. Mission is to create green buildings in green cities, the elimination of weapons of mass destruction, and providing clean, safe drinking water to 2.4 billion people who do not have access to it.

Somaly Mam Foundation. Dedicated to ending sex slavery.

Best Friends Animal Society. Spay/neuter services, animal rescue, placement of abandoned and neglected cats and dogs considered to be “unadoptable.” Maintaining Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Angel Canyon, home to around 2,000 special care cats and dogs.

Dogs Deserve Better. Animal rescue from neglect and mistreatment, with a special focus on chained/tethered dogs.

Save the Chimps. In support of sanctuary for chimps rescued from medical research, entertainment and unscrupulous pet traders.

The Humane Society. Confronting cruelty to animals.

Chris Matthews, along with his wife Kathleen, co-chairs Catholic Charities, whose mission is to eradicate poverty and racism. They offer a variety of services, such as adoption, disaster relief, housing counseling for mortgage refinancing, reverse mortgages, and victims of mortgage scams, advocacy for child victims of human trafficking, refugee resettlement and immigration services, family strengthening for the poor, promotion of climate change, food pantries, recycling, energy conservation, and legal services for the poor.

Looks like Maher and Matthews share many common interests in their choice of charitable causes....like feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless, huh?

to refute previous off-the-wall, inaccurate statements you made while trying to attack posts that were disparaging to Fox News. Now you are repeating the other incoherent content in your assaults by labeling Maher and Matthews as capitalist pigs AGAIN, as if the first time you did so weren't ridiculous enough. Speaking of hypocrites, aren't Fox flocks die-hard defenders of capitalism, the cronier, the better? So are we now to assume that cons truly believe that they are the good capitalists and libs are the evil capitalists? It never ceases to amaze me just how far they are willing to go to divide us all from each other.

The OP did a good job calling out your misinformation. You've done an even better job at demonstrating the utter desperation the fringe factions must be feeling over the realities of the vast wasteland that is the GOP primary candidate field and even the slightest reference to the ease with which the incumbent is going to ace his second term in office.
