Bill Maher dated A. Coulter?

Posted: Sep 20, 2010

Check out the link. Arianna Huffington is also one of his past dates.

Christine O'Donnell appeared on Bill Maher's television show 22 times in the late 1990's. Maher, a notorious womanizer, hinted that he had several damaging clips of her from those appearances. He also stated that he created her and would continue to embarrass her until she made an appearance on his new show.

Something about the way he addressed the camera suggested that Mr. Maher may know something more embarrassing about Ms. O'Donnell than that she "dabbled into witchcraft," when she was younger.

http://www.whosdatedwho.com/celebrities/people/dating/b... and many of the women he dated appeared on his show numerous times.

African men how to wash their uncircumcised parts after having sex.

Sorry, I'll take someone who when she was a teenager dealt (delved, hung around with someone, or looked into) witch craft for 2 days. What counts now is how they vote, what will they offer the people of the country, can they make the country a better place. I'll take someone (even if it was the present day) who is into witch craft than some of the demons in there now.

So stealing from campaign contributors, lying, falsifying documents, - and ducking taxes OK with you?

[ In Reply To ..]
Why am I not surprised? Are you equally as forgiving of nonincumbent moderates, democrats and progressives who have similar moral afflictions?
No! That's why I posted it - Its NOT okay - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Did you not read my post. No where in my post did I specially mention any political party or that I thought this was okay. I mentioned the outrageous stimulus going to teach men how to wash their private parts after sex. We have men and woman who need jobs here in this country. I'm sure they don't think it's okay to spend stimulus money on this.

Forgiveness depends on what the crime is. Stealing, lying, and falsifying documents and ducking taxes are SO SO SO NOT okay. So far that's been the practice and look at where it has gotten us.

Instead of accusing me of something I am not in favor of, nor in my post did it elude that I was in favor of what you accuse me of, it would be wiser to just post without accusing. Your post is combative and unnecessary since I DON'T think it's okay.

As for being "forgiving" it all depends on the crime. I don't care if someone is a republican, democrat, independent, or any party. I deal with the specific topic at hand and who the people are. If a person makes an honest mistake and they are either republican or democrat they are equally deserving of forgiveness. If someone is purposefully doing something wrong whether they are republican or democrat they are equally deserving of whatever punishment fits the crime.

It's the circumstances not the party.
In case it slipped your notice, who the people are in this case - and the specifi topi at hand

would be Christine ODonnell...the one who stole campaign contributions for household, entertainment and shopping expenses, lied about it, falsified documents and ducked taxes, yet you present a staunch defense of her. The reply to that defense did not seem combative and the questions asked were quite logical. You did not have to mention a party for readers to surmise your implicit affiliation with the self-described little witch, the Tea partys latest burnt offering. There is nothing in your second post that would suggest otherwise and in fact, you simply reinforced that initial impression, so whats with all the huff?

If you accept her as a viable candidate who has something to offer the people of the country (that is what you said, isnt it?), then you either are endorsing this behavior or turning a blind eye to it. Either way, it would naturally lead one to ask if you are so generous with your forgiveness with candidates or leaders of other party affiliations, which by my read you are decidedly NOT. Otherwise, whats the point of the radical change of subject and are you seriously trying to suggest that misappropriation of campaign contributions, lying, falsification of documents and ducking taxes are NOT deliberate decisions? Give me a break.
Well then I am against that - I never said it was okay - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
If she stole money that is wrong. Stealing is a crime. Theft is not only in one political party. Whether you steal funds and are a crat or pub or other I don't care. It's a crime. You seem to think I'm forgiving of a crime if a republican does it but against it if a crat does again. Once again I don't care about the party. If someone commits a crime they should face the consequences, whether it's theft of campaign dollars, evading taxes or whatever. But since the post that I thought I replied to was talking about her witchcraft gig I thought that was what the topic was about.

You said in your post that I presented a "staunch defense of her". I most certainly did not. You are not reading my posts.

All I'm saying about the witchcraft thing is I don't care whether someone previously or currently was/is into witchcraft. That is a personal religious choice one makes. Witchcraft has nothing to do with how someone will vote (at least in my opinions. So whether it's a republican or a democrat who is a witch I don't care.

That's what I'm trying to get across that you are not seeming to understand. You want to paint me as a conservative or tea party or whatever it is and I'm neither. When I vote for republicans they seem to be snakes, then when I vote for democrats they turn out to be snakes too. They all promise one thing and then get in and do the opposite - both sides. I'm just disgusted with all politics.

What I was defending ODonnell on was the witchcraft issue. I had no idea about the other. I do not support that and will not support her. Actually there is nobody I support right now.

Yes, I did say I'm accept a candidate who has something to offer the people. I thought she did but it looks like she is just another thief along with the rest of the crowd in DC.

What I am forgiving of is things like... a person hires someone who provides the proper paperwork and then finds out later that they were actually illegal but submitted forged documents and that person comes out and says they provided me all the proper documents and I didn't realize it. Those kind of honest mistakes. Not something like - No I don't pay my taxes because I'm part of the DC crowd or I stole money to pay for my campaign and clothing allowance.

Give you a break? Okay, I forgive you.
Huh? Would you mind clearing up something? - sm

what I consider to be an honest mistake. I was thinking of all the mistakes made over the years of people in politics. I remember years and years ago some lady (don't remember what political party she was in, cos this was over 10 years ago, maybe even 15, back around the time of the OJ trial cos I remember where I was living but not the year). She had hired an illegal alien to clean her home. Come to find out this person submitted falsified documents. So the lady who hired her thought everything was legitimate and then when someone dug deeper they found the person had false/forged documents.

That's all I'm saying - an honest mistake. People do make them in all different parties.

I'd give more examples of what I consider to be honest mistakes but its 1 a.m. and frankly I'm too tired.

Hope that cleared it up. Thanks.
I would just like to add that - sm

witchcraft, seances, astrology, etc do seem harmless enough, but I do not exactly place blood on a satanic sacrificial altar at a midnight picnic in that same category. I am curious about how you would respond to the 80s satanic ritual pratice post under the raise your hand if? thread above.

By the way, thanks for the clarification.

You mean the UCLA study that is a continuation - of Ws PEPFAR AIDS prevention initiative?

[ In Reply To ..]
PEPFAR 2003 funding was originally $15 BILLION. W was the one who established the focus countries: Botswana, Cote d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Guyana, Haiti, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, and Zambia. The aggressive program promotes and funds research, 20% of which is aimed at prevention and 80% at care and treatment. It seeks, among other things, to advance the development of antiretroviral drugs and an AIDS vaccine. Interventions include counseling, education, injection safety, blood safety and condoms.

I suspect this particular study falls under the category of EFFECTIVE counseling and education, huh? The current $832,200 UCLA grant funding DOES employ Americans. Also, many of us do not believe AIDS research is a waste of money, seeing as how Africa does not have a monopoly on the disease. Ask any of us whose lives have been impacted by the devastating loss of a family member or who witness family and friends struggling with the ravages of ongoing terminal deterioration while waiting for the arrest and/or cure of this hideous plague.
No, talking about the current stimulus - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
that was signed by yours truly. Has nothing to do with Bush, Clinton, Regan, Carter, Johnson, Truman, Taft, Lincoln, or Washington.

It is the current times we are living in. The stimulus money is not left over from Bush. You are trying to say anything bad happens you are going to blame Bush and anything good happens you are going to credit Obama. Sorry...that aint gonna fly. You cannot continue to blame him for all the mistakes being made now.

This is not AIDS research. Now that is what I call lame attempt. As they say...I was born at night but not last night.

Defend the guy all you want. It's the signing of the bills in the year 2010 by the current president, proposed by the current administration.

Nice try....NOT
Ummm, sorry to burst that bubble. The currrent funding IS for - continuing UCLA research studies that
[ In Reply To ..]
have been an ongoing educational and counseling component of the original PEPFAR program since 2003. This has everything to do with Ws original program. As with any other factual reality, one can trace its funding history, the programs evolution, progress, accomplishments, milestones, controversies and current status. Speaking of controversies, the $832,000 (which works out to be 0.0019 cents for each of 140 million tax payers) is considered to be fairly paulty when compared to amounts authorized in the past.

I did not say the current stimulus money was left over from Bush. What I said is that the program has been funded since 2003, which would mean that TAXPAYER moneys have always been used for it. The funds have been allocated by Congress in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. By my count, that means that GOP poured much money into the effort than dems, especially in view of the much protested CUTBACKS to the program in FY2010. I also said that since the research money is granted to UCLA (that's in California, not in Africa), the $832,200 DOES in fact go to fund jobs for Americans.

I feel no need to respond to the blame Bush mantra part of your post. No blame game is indicated since these FACTS are backed up with hard data. It is AIDS research and the allocations of the funds as part of education and counseling initiatives is perfectly in line with the intent of the original program.

I would post links to fascinating literature on the subject of this global initiative which Bush joined back in the day, but it is fairly evident that you have no interest in the science, the study, its basis, why this specific arm of the study is being pursued, what its implications are or any of the root facts underpinning the reality of this latest lame smear campaign by the fringe.

If I have misjudged and you are interested in further documentation of the hard data, I will take the time to retrieve the numerous articles I read last night and post links for you, but as it stands now, I think it would be a waste of my time and yours to do so. Still, just say the word and I would be most happy to accommodate. I suggest you start with the official PEPFAR website:

http://www.pepfar.gov/

This is just another, as Christine O'Donnell says, UN-factual effort by the fringe to stir up controversy that will have to quietly fade on off into the sunset in the face of those pesky little facts, which trump folly every single time.

The way Bill Maher sees it, resistance to ObamaCare is all God's fault. Why? Because so many people believe in this "schmuck" who lives in the clouds...and this belief, in turn, intensifies opposition to ObamaCare.   This leftist social critic, anti-Christian crusader, and HBO comedy show host warned God at the end of last week to back off, to allow smart people like himself and Barack Obama and the New York Times editorial board to push the God-fearing "ignoramuses" aside this week ...
