Do Republicans have anything positive to say about candidates

Posted: Apr 16, 2015

I hope my asking does not violate some rule.  Looking at the board, all I see are posts bashing Obama and Clinton.  Wondering if there is anything good to say about Republicans or is it all negative?

Sure do. - NPC

There is a lot of good to say about Republicans. The information is out there for anyone who wants to turn away from the lamestream media.

That's practically an impossibility!! They can't. - LOL

I have good things to say. I am especially liking Marco Rubio (sm) - Callie

[ In Reply To ..]
right now and how he seems to speak from the heart. He doesn't read anything, no notes, no looking down, no prompter, just speaks and looks right at you. That's how you know someone is speaking the truth. No lies, spin, twisting the truth. I do feel he is a little young, but not too young for me to vote for him if he was our candidate. I believe he has the good sense to listen to others for advice and opinions. Regarding military matters, I feel he would listen to the generals, and those on the ground - not like the present arrogant one who thinks he knows more than everyone else. It's early though, so will see what develops. There's something positive for you.

Rubio also has far more experience than crackhead Obama. - Also about the same age as crackhead

[ In Reply To ..]
when crackhead ran...so age not a problem.

Rubio also speaks from the heart, honestly...something completely foreign to crackhead.

Lost of positive, but pretty sure the DemAlinsky's were just looking for something to rip to shreds with their hateful comments as per their normal.

You are 100% spot on. - NPC

I am liking Rubio as well. A lot.

Yes, he would be easly sculpted by the right - wing machine, i.e. Koch etc.

What is it about so-called "commies" that the - Pubs find so scary?
[ In Reply To ..]
I'm assuming that's the code word for "socialist", which the Pubs also accuse everyone on the left of being. So again I ask, what about a perceived socialist candidate is so terrifying?

The only ones who could maybe rightfully be worried would be those at the top of the economic ladder, who might stand to lose some of their likely ill-gotten wealth. But the majority of us, especially MT's - those of us at the very bottom - would likely stand to gain substantially if this country had more income equality.

So what gives? Why all the angst?
They think "socialism" is a dirty word and think socialism = communism. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
In addition, dem/lib = socialist/communist. It really seems to be a name calling thing rather than any accusation based on fact.
They still think the top will share with them - if they believe and kiss the ring
[ In Reply To ..]
I just can't believe how deeply-seated that lie has become ingrained. It is astonishing to me how many people will vote against their own best interest with the hope that they can become one of the top. Some are waking up and that is why the right is hitting the guilt trip morality clause so hard. Even if you don't believe the right will "save" you financially there is always "faith."
George Bernard Shaw said to call it "socialism" because it was - easier to swallow than Communism - He's
[ In Reply To ..]
one of yours. If there was any historical knowledge on this board, besides very, very few, the rest of you would understand the untold cost of live and failure of every communist country. Democrat sycophants never get it...they think if they kiss the ring, the top of the communist heap will share.

But socialism and communism aren't the - same thing.

Good Lord - Crack a book. Socialism is a stepping stone - to Communism.

Marco Rubio’s compelling family story........... lie, lie, lie. - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
If you don't like liars, then Rubio is not the candidate for you. (see link)

So, yes, Rubio is a liar too. He's a politician, isn't he?

Hildabeast lied about "all" her grandparents being - immigrants. She's not the candidate for U

[ In Reply To ..]
Unless of course you are a DemAlinsky with no regard for truth, a DemAlinsky that loves liars.

She is "a politician" isn't she?

P.S. Hildabeast campaign worried about Rubio thumping her sorry behind into obscurity...My guess is this attack comes from the Soros/Hillary attack funds.
Not really worried about an Anchor Baby becoming president anytime soon. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
When so many in the GOP seek to make anchor babies and their parents leave our country. Neither of his parents were born in the United States. Marco Rubio is an anchor baby whose parents were both born in Cuba and who did not seek to naturalize until 1975 after he was born here.

He's flip-flopped on immigration and can't even support his own immigration bill in order to pander to the anti-immigrant wing of his own party. If you're an anchor baby willing to lie about who you are and how your parents came here and then flip-flop on your immigration position in order to pander to bigotry wing of the Republican and Tea Party who will only accept you if you deny the very person and heritage you are: No, not really worried about a pandering Marco Rubio becoming president anytime soon.

Rubio is what we call a hypocrite and a panderer speaking out of both sides of his mouth. Take a look at how that pandering and flippity floppity campaign worked out for Mitt Romney, and that'll give you an idea of what Rubio is facing.

He can't erase his verifiable ancestral history and his anchor baby status yet deny so many others to achieve what he did in exactly the same way. He's against way too many groups of Americans to ever qualify to be the leader of so many, and there are far too many educated people in the country to allow that to happen. Not everyone votes "for" the candidate they end up with but merely "against" the other guy. :)
His parents were "resident aliens," which means - they were LEGAL!
[ In Reply To ..]
My parents were also resident aliens. One of them still is. I was born in the USA 10 years after they came here. I've never considered myself an anchor baby.
DemAlinsky's would rather support a foreign-born Muslim - to an African father, not an American - Anchor bab

father born in the US as opposed to one born in another country make them less of a person? If that's what's being inferred here, then basically you're saying my father (and millions like him) wasn't as good a person as someone else's. It's beyond ridiculous.
Demographically Incorrect - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Conspiracy theories about an American born in Hawaii? Those are some pretty low depths to sink to, in my opinion.

Marco Rubio doesn't need destroying, in my opinion, since his party is far too full of bigots to make him a viable candidate. Didn't you hear Wayne LaPeeAir at the NRA convention when he said: "Yeah, I have to tell you, eight years of one demographically-symbolic president is enough."

So there's that sentiment which would also preclude not only Marco Rubio but also Rafael Cruz, Carly Fiorina, and Dr. Ben Carson and who knows how many candidates of the 2 dozen conservatives who might make a run for it? Mustn't forget stupid Sarah Palin--demographically correct VP candidate, and there's always clueless Michelle Bachman hanging around waiting to say something demographically stupid.

It seems only white guys need apply to suit the NRA and their ilk.

DemAlinsky's along with LaPeeAir are also trying to destroy the demographically incorrect candidate Rafael Eduardo Cruz by making up the fact that he was born in Canada to a Cuban father who fought for Castro. Oh, wait! Those are facts. What were the DemAlinsky's thinking? Perhaps they are taking a page from the birthers who represent the bottom of the sinkers to low depths?

Oh, irony! Oh, karma! Oh, goody! :)

If Rubio was an illegal alien and a "D" behind his name - DemAlinsky's would be lining up

[ In Reply To ..]
To give him a taxpayer refund illegal aliens not entitled to.

Taxpayer health care illegal aliens not entitled.

Enroll him in the college with a discount because he was an illegal alien.

Would give him food stamps taxpayer's expense illegal aliens not entitled.

HUD housing assistance illegal aliens not entitled to, paid for by taxpayers.

EIC credit illegal aliens not entitled to, paid for by taxpayers.

Enroll him in the Dream Act because he is an illegal alien.

Put an "R" behind his name - they want to destroy Rubio because he is not the "right kind" of Hispanic.

DemAlinskies - your racism is showing.
If Rubio were a "DemAlinsky" he would probably - have a more realistic view of things,
[ In Reply To ..]
and could conceivably get voted into office. But alas...
DemAlinsky see nothing realistically. - Their party glasses need cleaned
[ In Reply To ..]
x
Realistic according to who? - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
The democrats in office/DemAlinsky do not have a realistic view. Their viewpoint is just want they want it to be. Look at Hillary for instance. She does not live in the real world, she lives in her own delusional bubble, as does Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Debbie Dirty Hair and the rest of them.
Realism is in the eye of the believer. One person's - reality is another"s fantasy.
[ In Reply To ..]
Although we Demalinskys may be a bit too forward-thinking and idealistic for much of middle America, one has only to look at Republican beliefs to see Never Land in all its glory.
Excellent post - tired of being called a racist all the time here - by liberal posters

Because we don't toe the democrat/progressive/com party line.
Ha! If the shoe fits, if it quacks like a duck, etc. - nm

Well then, guess the DemAlinsky's will have to learn how - to deal with their racism.
[ In Reply To ..]
Since that shoe does fit them and they do quack like a duck...so, Dem's racism leaking out all over the place.
So Republicans are a "race" now? - nm
[ In Reply To ..]
Yep - DemAlinsky call anyone contrary to Obama policies - a racist all the time. Now the
[ In Reply To ..]
tables are turned, and they start whining about being called a "racist". That's their baby and all on them...they need to own it.

Either can be "racist", but we're much more - likely to see it on the Right.
[ In Reply To ..]
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the hidden planks in their platform. One of the ones at the bottom, holding up the entire structure.

I Have Chosen To Be Positive And Happy.Jul 07, 2017
As a liberal, I was listening to leftist radio, reading leftist literature and watching mainstream TV day in and day out. I investigated the "talking heads" on Fox and thought, "Hmmm, these are some very powerful, important and i ...
