The GOP Candidates have just formed a union against the RNC

Very interesting.

They ache to be able to fight ISIS and Russia but can't handle questions from moderators - unless they are hand-chosen

[ In Reply To ..]
I don't get it. How do they think they can handle the big challenges of being President of the United States when they can't candle debate moderators unless they are hand-chosen.

Interesting that they are at war with their own party now. These people are haters. They even hate each other, their fellow Republicans. They are falling apart.

How will they face the general election debate when they don't have softball questions thrown at them and have to face candidates who are well enough informed on the issues to discuss them intelligently? They won't. They can't. This is very sad for them. They are now victims of their own party.

Really? You think asking about Fantasy Football is appropriate - Truthhurts

[ In Reply To ..]
questions for debate? There were so many stupid questions from the moderators that had nothing to do with running the country and it was disgusting. They didn't ask serious questions about the economy, jobs, etc. It was a circus. I'm glad people saw right through the moderators.

The Democrats get to pick and chose what questions get asked. You think that's okay but not okay for the Republicans? That's always the double standard and it's time it's stopped.

Don't forget how MSM is in the pocket of the Democrats. Their problem right now is which one they want to support the most between Bernie and Hillary, while they never gave the other candidates much of a chance.

I didn't think so until a very wise friend filled me in on why it is relevant - Not as dumb as it sounds

[ In Reply To ..]
Many people have lost huge amounts of money. Rip-off artists are unregulated and making billions of dollars with no accountability. It's a new problem just being explored for possible ways to stop it. Is it the biggest problem in the world? No, of course not, but the candidates on the stage weren't able to discuss those either.
Umm, it's called gambling. New issue? LOL! - nm

It should not be what question is asked, but - How the question is answered

[ In Reply To ..]
Christie's reaction about the Fantasy Football was a deflection. If they would just answer each question with dignity and sincerity, they would look much better. I want to see candidates defend their records under the pressure of the debate, no matter the question. Trump and Carson decided they did not want a 3 hour debate where they could have given good answers, but just a 2 hour debate, because, frankly, I think 3 hours of debate work seemed to tire them. You also seem to forget how Trump berated Megan Kelly for her questioning him on his record and words about women. The was a Fox moderator--certainly not that mean liberal MSM.

The Republicans actually have a "kids table" for Republicans who did not make the cut to the big stage. At least the Democrats were all on stage, so they did have a chance.

Republican candidates should take some lessons from the President. Obama is always cool, taking the snark from Fox and the other Republican "news" slanted "journalists." Grace under fire--something not seen among the Republicans.

As far as the Anderson Cooper debate. There were many, many tough questions that the Democrats did answer-including questions about Benghazi. I don't remember them complaining, but perhaps that is why you assume they chose their own questions, because they did not complain and acted like grownups and professionals.
Very well said - nm

You think requesting a serious question be asked is deflection? - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
That's a new one on me! As usual, i see most replies are giving the liberal progressive moderators a pass, just like they don't give 2 craps that Hillary lied about Benghazi or broke the law with her private server, but then again, I didn't expect the left wing nuts to ever want to follow the laws of this country or Constitution.

I'm sick of the double standard and corruption in this country and this administration. Hopefully, the new president will set some people on their ears, if not booted out the door, like a lot of THIS administration's corrupt officials and hopefully, they will also be brought up on charges for all the deceit.

I disagree with you strongly. - Go GOP

[ In Reply To ..]
Tell me, what big challenge has Obama handled? Please name more than one, after all, he has been in office nearly 8 years. Name an accomplishment of Clinton or Sanders, how about 5 or more since they are career politicians. What do you know about Benghazi, other than Clinton lied about it being caused by a video? Tell me about Fast and Furious, Ferguson, Baltimore. How is that hope and change working for you? Fact check unemployment for blacks, Hispanics, and MTs while you are at it. Fact check the number of unemployed who no longer are counted because benefits ran out and they have given up. Look up how many more millions of people are on some sort of government subsidy than were 8 years ago. Do some research on Benghazi. Remember "no troops on the ground or referring to ISIS as the JV team." Tell me, what is Obama doing about ISIS? Unemployment? Job creation-remember "shovel ready jobs?" What about getting us out of debt as he promised his first term, yet has addeded several trillion instead? What is he doing about the invasion of this country by illegal immigrants? What has he done for veterans? What has he done for seniors? What will Clinton do or Sanders do? I am Republican. We are not falling apart. We do not hate each other or you. The publilc deserves to hear the candidates talk about real issues, not fantasy football. Obama care is a joke, I know because I am unemployed and it costs more than I can afford and was no cheaper than I paid when I was employed. Tell me what kind of future you think your children and grandchildren are facing. Tell me you do not mind subsidizing me with your tax dollars so I can eat, have a roof over my head because of offshoring jobs and/or bringing in HB1 Visa workers. Tell me what you think about the majority of jobs in the last 8 years going to those born in a foreign country.

Look at your message, full of hatred and claiming not to be - There is no reasoning with you

[ In Reply To ..]
There is no reason to discuss these issues with you because you are not able to think logically about any of it. I don't agree with you about anything you said. My opinions are always expanding and changing with new information, but never will I get to the point you described on any of those issues. This is a free country though and you are welcome to your own opinions, although not your own facts which you have clearly decided to do anyway.
Typical liberal, could not answer one question. - nm
[ In Reply To ..]
You could not answer a question or engage in a debate so you accused the poster of being a hater for not agreeing with you. Anybody surprised? Anybody?
I didn't see a question. All I saw was an extremist rant - Logical people don't bother with extremist ra
[ In Reply To ..]
It is a waste of time to try to have a logical discussion with GOP extremists. It doesn't happen. They are not logical people and are proud of it. No compromise. No discussion. No debate. No thoughtful discussion. So there you have it.
Poster who cried wolf - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
The poster's ranting talking points have been addressed over and over and over individually. Ranting poster just keeps it up, never acknowledges the truth. It is Tiresome and I refuse to play ranting poster's game.
That's exactly how I feel about it too - Not playing ranting poster's game
[ In Reply To ..]
GOP extremists love to yell and rant and rave and turn red in the face. If you ever see one in person and try to have a rational discussion, you learn very quickly that they cannot deal with facts. They know everything. No compromise, no discussion, no debate, no facts to be considered because those were obviously liberal ideas. No reason to talk to them or listen to them.
Read that post again. I counted at least 14 questions - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
Maybe you need glasses?

Also, the poster did not put some sentences in question form but they were calling attention to facts and wanting to debate and discuss those facts.

But, of course, you decided that post was an extremist rant because you can't, or you won't, face facts or answer those questions.

There have been plenty of extremist rants on this board and not from the conservative viewpoint or the above poster but you only see hate when there isn't any. So sad.
There was no hate in that message. It was all the truth, - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
Obama has almost destroyed this country with his indecisiveness and division of this country.

Of course, liberal progressive can't see past their noses and can't make logical decisions or claims. They attack. That's all they know how to do.

Too bad it's not working this time around. People have finally opened their eyes to all the deceit. It's about time, too. The only people worshiping Obama and his administration is MSM and those who want to keep getting the free stuff plus more. Hopefully, they're mores sensible people in this country than there was in 2008-2012 and we can get back to being a united country again in 2016.

You have stated so many FACTS much better - Truthhurts

I had never posted on this board before. Tough crowd!!

It doesn't matter who the moderators are, these GOP candidates don't understand the issues - We need more GOP candidates

[ In Reply To ..]
Facts are facts, but this group of whiners who are running to be the next President don't know the issues. They have not been able to have an intelligent discussion of any of them. They need more candidates to choose from. That might help. The ones so far don't make the cut.

They understand the issues. They would love to - Truthhurts

[ In Reply To ..]
debate the issues and answer SERIOUS questions, but they can't just say what they want. Those aren't the rules. They have to answer the questions unless they're stupid like in the last debate. I didn't hear many serious questions asked about the issues in this last debate, nor in the Anderson Cooper debate.

Actually the GOP candidates have complained endlessly about how tiring the last debate was - Three hours and yet they kept Hillary for 11

[ In Reply To ..]
It amused me that they are still griping about the 3-hour debate last time when they said about Hillary Clinton they were going to keep at her until she dropped, and they tried, 11 hours while they took breaks, even the Chairman, while she was being grilled, and yet they didn't break her and she was gracious and intelligent throughout. But there they go again complaining about the too-long debate and the unfair questions, and the moderators who didn't like them as well as they liked the other guys, etc., etc., etc.
How she presented herself in those 11 hours confirmed that I will vote for her - She is a winner
[ In Reply To ..]
They did try their best to destroy her, because that's what they do, but they failed, again, and she won, again.
Nope. They proved she is a liar and deflection is her game - Truthhurts
[ In Reply To ..]
She filibustered the committee so their time would run out because she didn't WANT to answer any questions. It was a yak-yak session on her part. She lied under oath and that should bring charges against her among other things.
Could you be specific? - nm
[ In Reply To ..]

Really? What is the name of this union? - nm

[ In Reply To ..]
What news channel was this on?

They meet today and the RNC is not invited even though they begged to be able to attend - They feel they needed to unionize

[ In Reply To ..]
I don't think they are handling it well, but they've decided that the RNC caused their debate debacle Wednesday night, so they are eliminating them from the negotiations. I don't think they are acting wisely and this is probably not going to turn out well for them. The RNC represents the Republican party which they are supposed to be part of, so none of this makes sense, to unionize against the GOP Chairman and the Republican National Committee. It will be interesting to watch them fight it out, because fighting is what they do.

My Run Down Of The GOP CandidatesAug 20, 2011
After doing much research, I'm leaning towards Santorum.  Perry and Romney are nothing but democrats in disguise. As much as I like Bachmann, I just don't think a conservative woman has a chance. As much as I like Herman Cain, his lack of experience scares me. Candidates' Deficit Plans Don't Add UpOct 01, 2012
As the government closes the books Sunday with a $1.1 trillion deficit for the year, which required borrowing 32 cents for every dollar it spent, budget analysts have little confidence in either presidential candidate's plan to address the accumulating debt, now at about $16 trillion.
