As a liberal, I was listening to leftist radio, reading leftist literature and watching mainstream TV day in and day out. I was falling into the trap of believing the negativity and really feeling hopeless, angry and surly. A few months ago, I decided to devote one day to listening to conservative radio, reading right-leaning literature and watching Fox. I felt happier and more hopeful. I investigated the "talking heads" on Fox and thought, "Hmmm, these are some very powerful, important and intelligent people." I kept listening and have not turned back. In sum, I have chosen to be positive, happy and well informed. Thanks to the negative leftist propagandists for turning my head away from the viper pit. By the way, Morning Joe is toxic. I used to love that show. I can no longer stomach the unpleasantness and skewed journalism coming out of MSNBC in general. CNN is getting to be just as bad IMO.;

It's easy to be a liberal. All they do is "feel" things and never have to produce any results. Conservatives have core values and have to go against the popular culture. Just look at entertainment. We are constantly mocked. It's not new.

I just read about a young girl urinating on the American flag, claiming it to be free speech. Just saw an armed man with a fake ID throwing knives, trying to get at Ivanka in Germany. This stuff is becoming commonplace. It didn't used to be.

I spent 4 years in Norway a while ago. Groupthink on steroids. Taxes like you wouldn’t believe, especially “sin” taxes for products the government doesn’t want you to consume. Like red meat, booze, a 2nd car, etc. All those resulted in high taxes.

I totally agree with your assessment. As an independent, I always watched both liberal and conservative news channels. I especially like Morning Joe for somewhat balanced news with a democratic lean, lots of government leaders and their opinions. I got a lot of my reading material from the authors they interviewed. Then around Dec I noticed a shift to HER snarky, eye-rolling, lip twisting reaction to anything Trump and Joe chiming in. It became a sickening, distasteful 3 hours of Trump bashing EVERY day. Enough I said and turned it off. I miss the old days when the VIEW wasn't considered a NEWS program! LOL. That's OUT LOUD!
