A lil' message to the Tea Party

Posted: Sep 16, 2011

This was an excellent response to the recent Tea Party debate about healthcare for those who can't afford it.

A lil' message to the Daily Kos author - Blueberry

[ In Reply To ..]
Anyone calling a group of people they don't agree with "a$$holes" as the title of her blog, is not worth the time reading, however, I wanted to see how much more this hateful blogger wrote so needless to say I felt like someone raped me of some valuable time...Daily Kos, go figure. So, here is a reply to the blogger who wrote the piece...

Hey Daily Kos blogger - your hatred for anyone in the tea party shines through bright and clear. They were not cheering your brother's death. They don't even know your brother or his name. And no, you don't know God and who he will and will not damn. Grieving your brother's death is one thing. Using it as an excuse to attack a group of people you hate is another. Maybe you might want to eat your words of God damning for all eternity. Last I heard the Bible said Love thy neighbor. Not love thy neighbor except anyone who isn't a liberal. I'm sorry for your loss, but that doesn't give you the right to use it as an excuse to attack a group of people you don't agree with politically wise. You should be ashamed of yourself. Use his memory for good, not the filth you wrote.

As for anyone cheering anyone dying I don't agree with that at all, but I also am not going to stand and assume to know who God will or will not damn. That is between them and their god.

So its still true the saying...read the Daily Kos and your time has been wasted.

If I were this woman... - sm

...I'm afraid I'd use more profanity than she did. She tried to shame people who are shameless haters, and she made clear she was referring to those who cheered to let the man die.

She was extremely eloquent in her words, and she had every right to feel the feelings she did.

To even suggest that Americans should just let a fellow human being (who can't afford insurance) DIE shows the scum of the earth, as she has suggested.

Why is your anger with this poor soul who lost a brother she obviously loved instead of greedy insurance companies who put profits over people all the time?

I agree with everything she said, and if you're one of those cheering for death, then the same goes for you.

Let 'em die! - Mcg

[ In Reply To ..]
Just be thankful you're not like those folks.

This country should have affordable healthcare for everyone without the word "Socialism" being thrown around. I'm sick of the rhetoric being repeated that's put out by the talking heads out there who seem only to care about insurance company profits.
Funny... - hmmm

People freak out about letting "people" die, but the unborn are just plain out of luck.

Double standard, if you ask me. There is no genetic difference between a pre-born individual and a post-born individual.

It's not a question of genetic difference. It's a question of stage of development and viability. There is a huge difference between rights of living breathing human beings and rights of zygotes.

You're not going to be able to make any pro-life argument without inserting some faith-based beliefs. Sorry, but science is not on your side.

Bible thump her way along the road. I, for one, resent those who try to push their religious beliefs on me when I already have my own beliefs, which are very personal to me.
You sure got a lot of "me" in that sentence. - hmmm

Well that's exactly how I feel about liberals - Blueberry (sm)

[ In Reply To ..]
I'd say guess we're even, but no where near close. I've never seen such a hateful bunch as the liberals/communists with their hate and lies and name calling and lies and just plain ol sour grapes hateful name calling for no good reason. I've watched some tea party events on TV. No hate there. Just people who are upset with what is happening in congress. They have as much right to gather as they want. And they don't spread the hate and fear mongering and violence. I say if the liberals want communism and to turn people in when they don't agree with issues there are a lot of other countries I think they'd be very happy in.

So, no it's now where even and that same nauseated feeling is what I get every time I see a liberal.

Nope - no new low - just cos you don't agrree - The Kos article was a piece of filth

I don't believe anything that comes out of the diarists or bloggers at the Daily Kos. That site is nothing but the rectal orifice of the progressive left with all its dingleberries clinging to its every word.

What about this piece - JS

[ In Reply To ..]
which was an opinion piece may I add was a lie? Was there not cheering coming from the audience? Was there not overwhelming cheering coming from the audience during the disucssion of Gov. Perry's very impressive execution rate? No lies there. It was on TV for all to see. However, seeing as how the author had a very close relative die under the circumstances that gained cheer, I can see how they would be angered and disgusted by that behavior. To put it in perspective, how would you like it if progressives/lib/pro-choicers started cheering every time someone mentioned Planned Parenthood's abortion numbers? Sick, right? Maybe those left-wing dingleberries don't sink as low as the right-wing barnacles who, IMO, the GOP/TP base needs to get in check because they're starting to make the whole bunch of 'em look very, very badly. I have a different "A" word for people who behave like that... Animals. The credibility of Daily Kos (or any other source) in this case doesn't change that one bit.
There are bad people who do bad things in - every group.
[ In Reply To ..]
Some econuts blow up buildings and cause destruction that cannot be misconstrued in any way as being good for the environment. Animal rights activists actually sent a device in the mail to one of my college professors that somehow cut a bunch of ligaments in her hand. How does that help animals? The fact is that you cannot base an opinion of an entire group of people on their nut fringe. To do so is the sign of a simple mind. Is it disgusting that people cheered? Absolutely. Does it make everyone involved in the movement a bad person who would cheer at that? Absolutely not.
You just reinforced my point - JS
[ In Reply To ..]
I don't judge an entire group by the behavior of a few. I thought I pretty much said that in my post. However, when that behavior of a few is getting to the point where it is destructive to the entire group, it's time to get them in line. Instead, we have folks blasting people for being outraged by bad behavior instead of blasting those who are acting badly. It doesn't make sense.

Which works better for you? - Rose-colored glasses or blinders?

[ In Reply To ..]
I am an MT. I have done many reports where people have been suffering a long time, but did not come in because they do not have insurance. I have done reports where people have quit taking their heart medication because they can't afford to buy it. There are tons of cases out there just like this one. If you start to see the reality just a little bit, perhaps you can try burying your head in the sand.
Well if you believe the Daily Kos - Then blinders it would be

There are so many good things about the Affordable Health Care Act. It's hard for me to understand why someone would even think about going without insurance. The Tea Party (disgusting And Full Of Vitrole And Hatred) Are Not The Republican Party HopefullyApr 17, 2011
I hope with everything I have in me that the Tea Party does not represent the Republican Party. This is what the Tea Party stands for. They are full of vitriole and hatred. This is not what the Republican party stands for. See comments by Republican Party of Orange County Chairman Scott Baugh, "It's just highly inappropriate, it's a despicable message, it drips with racism and I think she should step down from the committee," said Baugh. "Davenport, a tea party activist, represents t ...

A Very Good Message For All Of UsJul 09, 2014
While this video is geared toward reaching the black community, I believe it is something that many, if not most, Americans should hear.  It spells out clearly the dangers of having a government that is too intrusive, too big, too powerful, and the lives we face for giving them all that power.    "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is a government big enough to take away everything that you have." I am in the process of cleaning up the board.  I have not finished yet.  I have been deleting posts from all sides (that is both conservative and liberal).  Stop insulting/ridiculing posters.  Everytime I remove an insult another comes up.  If you don’t agree that is fine, simply state why in a logical and adult fashion. There is no reason to write hateful remarks and ridicule any poster and make fun of them because you don’t agree with them or like what they ...
