Earthquake in the Northeast!

I've only felt three earthquakes in the 40 years I have lived in Upstate New York. I guess this was based in Ontario and we felt it all the way down here! I hope they didn't sustain too much damage. TV says it was a 5.5 up there. Felt the whole house sway. It felt like I was having a dizzy spell, but my husband felt it too. I was far away enough to be excited about it - so cool! But I hope nobody got hurt up in Ontario!

[ In Reply To ..]Where in Upstate NY do you live? I'm in Syracuse. I'm all alone at my office downtown and my desk started shaking. I couldn't believe it. My older daughter felt it but thankfully my younger daughter didn't at all. Scary stuff. I have friends that live in Canada so hoping everything is okay.

[ In Reply To ..]I would have loved to have met you. You must have remembered I love Adam Lavine and M5. My daughter and I are actually going on August 7 to Canandaigua to see them. It was closer for us and it's on a weekend so it worked out better. You'll have to let me know how you like the concert. Have you seen them before? I got to meet Adam for a short period of time in Ithaca this past fall when they played at Cornell. Thought I had died and went to Heaven. LOL.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to get a picture with Adam, just an autograph. He was just about to jump on his bus to leave. But I do have a picture of my friend with Adam. PS - I am not a stalker. I'm a 58 year old woman and probably the least dangerous person you could meet!
PPS - I can't figure out how to access my "sent" replies by email, and in the interim I've been in North Carolina for my mom's 80th birthday, and I really don't remember what I said! Go figure!
