'N-Word' Sign Dogs Would-Be Tea Party Leader

I can't copy and paste any of this because of the shameful profanity associated with it.

Did you know Sen. Robert Byrd, D-WV, used to be a KKK member? - AzRain

And he said the N-word on a national TV news show in about 2001? Why don't you mention THAT? Could it be he's a liberal?

AzRain, if you want to post a story about Robert Byrd (sm) - Nikki

or any other story that interests you, feel free to post it (hopefully, with a source). If you don't like my sources (which today include "The Hill" and "USA Today"), then why not post something of substance from the site of your choice?

What you're doing here is nothing but harassment, you add absolutely nothing to the debate of the topic posted, and I won't fuel your posts any further on this board.

Have a nice day.

So where's the debate part? All you do is post inflammatory news reports... - AzRain

and then call anyone who disagrees with you names and refuse to debate the issues. Shows what a weak argument you have in the first place.

She didn't say anything about not liking your sources - anon

or anything at all about sources. She made a statement about Sen Byrd. There was nothing harrassing about her statement. I've read a lot of AzRain's posts and she brings up legitimate posts with her opinions or articles.

Maybe stick with the topic you are discussing and just know that you will disagree on issues.
I agree. Stick to the topic. He/she didn't. (sm) - Nikki

The topic of the thread was a racist tea party guy, not Senator Byrd.

Yes, Byrd did it, and I find it despicable, but what's that got to do with the topic of the thread?

He's a good ol' boy - NJ

But he can't even spell the "n" word. Ignorant AND stupid.

I read the article and the comments that followed.... - AzRain

He is correct in his argument but incorrect in using that term, knowing how inflammatory it is. However, as a poster pointed out, just as this type of protester makes up 1% of the movement, liberals only make up 25% of Americans. Since MOST of the country is aghast at what is happening to it, you too are ruining it for your side. If and when Republicans return to power, all of your dumb laws will be repealed or mitigated, and I for one can't wait.

in a reported disagreement over direction. Freedomworks, of course, is largely backed by the Koch brothers and others who seek an end run around our silly little one-man/one-vote system. This is a counterpoint to the resignation announced just days later, of course, of Senator Demint to run the Heritage Foundation--continuing the shakeups on the far right after their election losses. Officially, Armey disagrees with the "direction" of his organizaiton. Armey declined to specify his disagreement ...

(This group is getting uglier and uglier every day.) By David Edwards and Muriel KaneWednesday, April 14th, 2010 -- 11:32 am CNN host Rick Sanchez described the leader of an Ohio Tea Party group as "a bigot and a liar" on Tuesday, after he had first referred to Hispanic immigrants as "spicks" and then attempted to defend himself by claiming he had merely been quoting a 1960's Bee Gee's song. The Tea Party (disgusting And Full Of Vitrole And Hatred) Are Not The Republican Party HopefullyApr 17, 2011
I hope with everything I have in me that the Tea Party does not represent the Republican Party. This is what the Tea Party stands for. They are full of vitriole and hatred. This is not what the Republican party stands for. See comments by Republican Party of Orange County Chairman Scott Baugh, "It's just highly inappropriate, it's a despicable message, it drips with racism and I think she should step down from the committee," said Baugh. "Davenport, a tea party activist, represents t ...

One Dog Vs. Two DogsApr 05, 2013
We have had our tweenie dachshund girl forabout 10 months.  She is almost 2 years old.  She is dearly loved, so obedient and smart and snuggly.  Lately I have been wondering about getting another dog, solely for the purpose of a playmate for her, so she can wrestle and get more exercise during the day.  I work at home so a lot of her day she is in her bed beside my desk sleeping, or she looks out the window at the yard and watches for dangerous folks near our yard (haha!), gr ...

In the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, respondents were asked who “would be better when it comes to being easygoing and likeable,” and 58 percent selected President Obama, while just 23 percent chose Romney and 15 percent said the two were equally good. But when they were asked who would be better at improving the economy, Romney beat out Obama by a margin of 44 percent to 38 percent. http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/romney-wsj-personal-life/2012/08/24/id/449657 ...

Okay, WHO Will Be The Next Big GOP Leader BothDec 22, 2012
Right now apparently, from the talk about such a thing, a third party is looking pretty good to a lot of conservatives. A party known for, and powerful through, its discipline and willingness to fall in line behind its leaders has become anything but. The inability to come together behind Boehner isn't due to his incompetence--it's structural.  Will Rogers' saying, "I belong to no organized party. I am a Democrat." is now true for the Republicans. Mainstream John Boehner is ...

Dogs With Allergies...Feb 23, 2012
My dogs definitely cannot have poultry or corn, and wheat is questionable.  I am trying to find dental chews/biscuits.  I'm using Zuke's Z-bones right now but the problem is that one of my dogs is just biting/breaking it into chunks and swallowing the chunks, not much good for his teeth and gums!  He chews his crunchy dog food and regular treats so I was hoping maybe I could find some dental biscuits of some sort, but everything I'm finding has wheat or chicken ...

Designer DogsNov 16, 2009
I have a plain old garden variety Rat Terrier. Best known as Teddy Roosevelt's favorite, the RCA dog, and a common dog on farms because they're such good little ratters. But we saw two "Designer Dogs" last week that were so funny. One was a Chug (Chihuahua and Pug combination) and the other two were Puggles (Pug and Beagle combinations.) All of them were cute as could be, but when did mixing breeds stop being mutts and start being Designer Dogs? Is it just because a mutt is a result ...

Does Anyone Else Have Dogs That Are Smarter Than Them?Jul 17, 2010
I live in the sticks so don't have passersby, have no friends or relatives so I don't get company, and work 14 hours a day so I don't have a lot of time for my little canine companions through the week.  Therefore on weekends, we kinda hang out together.  This includes taking them to the store when I go grocery shopping and they wait in the car, people-watching from whatever window they choose to gaze out of.  During the heat of summer, though, I leave them home.&nb ...

One Dog Vs. Two Dogs - Update :)Apr 13, 2013
We adopted a standard dachshund today from the humane society.  I found him on Petfinder.com.  We had to drive about an hour away to get him but oh, what a sweetie.  He is only 8 months old but he isn't hyper at all.  Very laid back for a youngster.  (He hasn't even barked once!)  His tail wags constantly and he loves everybody in the family. But best of all, our tweenie dachshund loves him!  She has engaged him in play over and over.  He is stil ...

New Channel Going To The DogsJul 15, 2013
Plenty of things will grab a dog’s attention: squirrels, tennis balls, funny smells, other dogs. But a TV channel?Absolutely, say the makers of DogTV, the first cable network to deliver 24-hour programming for dogs. The idea, they say, is that flipping on the channel while you go out for the day will keep your pet stimulated, entertained and relaxed. Call it “Sesame Street” for those who will never learn their ABCs.The shows on DogTV are actually three- to six-minute segments f ...

Itchy DogsFeb 19, 2014
Has anyone tried the new "miracle" drug for itchy dogs, Apoquel? It had remarkable results in Europe, and was finally approved for the US in January. My vet is impressed with it, and says he sees results within 4 hours. I was concerned about where the drug is metabolized, since my dog is very old, and I don't want to give him anything that's metabolized in the liver or kidneys. This is apparently very safe, and the only possible reaction is diarrhea which quickly resolves after a da ...

How To Introduce Dogs To Kids?Jun 11, 2010
I have gotten serious with my boyfriend to the point that we are considering moving in together.  I have 3 children (6, 5, and 3) and he has 2 small dachsunds that are pretty much his world.  My kids are with their dad for the summer and will be back shortly and the only thing I'm worried about is if his dogs will be okay with my kids.  I know one of them is just as loving as she can be, but the other is very picky about certain people.  Everyone I have introduced to her ...

Question About Male DogsJun 02, 2012
I have a male puppy who is about 9 months old. I have only had females so this is a real change for me! He likes to pee on everything. I realize he is marking his turf. The problem is...this is MY turf! If I have him neutered, will that stop this behavior? Also, will it make him less hyper? I know he is a puppy and is supposed to be energetic but it's beyond that. He may just be high-strung but he just does not stop! I am going to have him neutered for the health benefit anyway but was just ...

Shaving Dogs And CatsApr 28, 2013
I am an animal lover and am all for making them comfortable in the summer months, but please keep in mind that an animal's coat/fur PROTECTS them from the heat/sun.  By shaving them to the skin, you are just setting them up to get even hotter outdoors and possibly burn their skin. Their coat also protects their internal body from shifts of temperature indoors or out. A pet groomer is NOT going to tell you this--they make a good chunk of money shaving hair off pets.  If you don&# ...
