Wondering if anyone else has had similar symptoms and how did you resolve them.
I think I may have started menopause and have done some research on my symptoms. Seems like dry tissues and URI are a symptom, of which I have had both. Very rarely do I get URIs, but after this one was resolved (I hope), seems like i have somewhat dry but itchy and somewhat achy inner labial mucous membranes. Kind of feels like you're getting a period with the somewhat congested, uncomfortable, almost beginning crampy feeling.
Obviously you can't scratch to relieve the itch, but gentle rubbing seems to help. I have also used pure aloe vera gel, and some rose moisturizing facial oil and rose moisturizing toner spray on the inner labial membranes. That helps to relieve the itching and somewhat mild ache like a UTI. The burning on urination has resolved several weeks ago.
I did have about a month ago a very long and difficult course with sinusitis/URI.
It's not a yeast infection, I took no antibiotics for the UTI or sinusitis/URI to cause yeast.
Also seem to notice that I have a much stronger odor recently after the UTI. I've used cranberry juice and capsules, tried to drink a lot more water. I do have some probiotic capules that I may start taking to try to reset my whole system.
I dont have much money for medication. I wanted to try the organic products I have here first and thought if I can use it on my face, I can sure try more intimately. I've used Ivory shower lotion, organic grapefruit based shower gel, and my higher quality facial cleansing cream to wash and never had an adverse reaction. I dont have insurance for a doctor visit and refuse to go on hormones unless organic therapies dont help.
I researched evening primrose oil, wild yam cream, and other organic remedies.
I seem to not really have much sexual desire right now, that may be some stress and life situation, but I notice not as much as I used to have.
If this is menopause, it's really strange.
