anybody familiar with florida unemployment (reunemployment)

I recently got terminated for what they call a critical error. I had to say that when I applied for unemployment online. So they dont talk to you or let you know if you are approved even though they say online that you will be. I have to call or go on line on the 25th. Does anyone know if they will actually still help me? very scared, thank you;

I live in FL and my son was terminated for "cause" (although it was bogus) He fought the company and won but it took quite a few weeks. That being said FL is a right to work state which means that they don't even have to give you a reason to terminate None of the process is done in person now, all of it is online or at most via telephone but if the website says you are approved I would tend to go with that

Don't know how Florida and Georgia compare, but in Georgia, if you are fired for a reason that you couldn't help, then you aware awarded unemployment compensation. You don't even have to fight for it. This includes, if you were not educated enough to comprehend the mistake you made. So, if you are interviewed, you would probably be better off saying you didn't know it was an error, rather than saying you just made the error.

My husband had a job and they wanted to get rid of him, but didn't have a valid reason and finally just fired him and said it was because he did not know how to use their computer system (Even though he used it daily with no issues). He was awarded unemployment compensation, because according to them, it is not my husband's fault that he wasn't "educated enough to use a computer" (according to them). The company got mad actually and THEY tried to fight the claim and lost. You receive it, in Georgia, if you are fired due to not being educated enough to do the job.

I filed for FL unemployment a few years ago - collected 2 checks. It is very easy, all online, just be accurate with your dates and you'll be fine. I had direct deposit and my money was in the bank 3 days after I finished the online app. They call your last employer and verify the date and cause of your leaving.

My husband found a loose dwarf Siamese bunny that we, of course, took in. Neither are of us are very familiar with the care of bunnies.
