His full Name is: Willard Mitt Romney

He was Born: March 12, 1947 and is 65 years old.

His Father: George W. Romney, former Governor of the State of Michigan
He was raised in Bloomfield Hills , Michigan
He is Married to Ann Romney since 1969; they five children.

Education:
B.A. from Brigham Young University ,
J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University

Religion:
Mormon - The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints

Working Background:
After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon missionary.
After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School
simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar exam, but  never worked as
an attorney.

In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity investment firm,
one of the largest such firms in the United States .

In 1994, he ran for Senator of Massachusetts  and lost to Ted Kennedy.

He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts where
he eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.

Some Interesting Facts about Romney:

Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in Massachusetts , turned it into Staples; now over 2,000 stores employing  90,000 people.

Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group,Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.

He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial
campaign 1 year.

He was an unpaid intern in his dad's governor's office for eight years.

He was an unpaid bishop and stake president of his church for ten years.

He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three years.

He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts for four years.

He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.

Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our country but has given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than most men.

And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income....  Just for comparison purposes, Obama gave 1%  and Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%.

Mitt Romney is Trustworthy:

He will show us his birth certificate.
He will show us his high school and college transcripts.
He will show us his social security card.
He will show us his law degree.
He will show us his draft notice.
He will show us his medical records.
He will show us his income tax records.
He will show us he has nothing to hide.

Mitt Romney's background, experience and trustworthiness show him to be a great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the United States.

You may think that Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected. At least I know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or practice fiscal irresponsibility. I know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the current regime has gotten us into.

We won't like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney's background can do it.

He never was  a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot, never got drunk, did not associate with communists or terrorists, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the U.S.

For me, that puts Mr. Romney in a very favorable way. I like all that I read about him. Thank you for sharing that.

We used to live in a community with a strong Mormon - population. There is a great deal to

[ In Reply To ..]
admire in all who truly live their faith, and Mormons do set high standards for how they live their lives. Not everyone was capable of being a fine person, of course, but the effects of this on their community as a whole were obvious and admirable.

The year a lovely Mormon neighbor stepped outside her very introverted church society to become president of our elementary school PTA was the year our PTA (good before, but...) was named the outstanding PTA in the entire state of California. Not a coincidence. She was as strong willed as she was charming and intelligent, and that's saying a lot. Her physician husband (and she, of course, but unstated) felt she should contribute to the school since they had decided to send their 8 children to public schools as a matter of principle.

One thing I confess to being mildly curious about is whether Ann Romney is guided by her husband in filling out her voters' ballot. I understand there have been some gentle changes for women over the years; but for those women I knew in the 1990s, living their religion meant seeking and following their husbands' guidance in matters of judgment. I remember watching as that tremendously capable PTA president sought her husband's approval of a message she wrote on a congratulatory card before sealing it and realizing just how important this principle was. Also wondering when, if ever, this mild man hadn't given it. :)

When is Willard going to show the tax records? - nm

[ In Reply To ..]

He doesn't need to. (sm) - He's shown what is necessary

[ In Reply To ..]
When is Obama going to show us his kindergarten records (they're sealed too - probably because of being born King of Kenya), his college writings and transcripts?

Have you checked your batteries? - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Sounds like a broken 78RPM format vinyl played on 33-1/3. The skipping is the best part. Kids pick up on those rhythms like ducks take to water. They love to jump up and down and wave their hands in the air while mouthing the lyrics in unison, though they're typically off-key. That's something they can never quite get right no matter how many times they try. Good news is, by the time they reach adulthood, they can usually carry a tune.

Playtime's over. Now, where ARE those returns and what do you suppose he's hiding in them?
Do you suppose Obama's writings are about his - love of Karl Marx? Or Mao? (sm)
[ In Reply To ..]
I do believe that is why he won't show them. He did espouse the teachings of Karl Marx. If you would research, you would know this, but you probably get busy replacing batteries. D's, right?
Have you checked yours? - No different than your Tax Mantra
[ In Reply To ..]
Now where did I put my birth certificate, the real one
and where is my college transcripts
and where is my college thesis
and where are my felonious investments data
and WHERE IS MY DAM DOG????

AND WHY DO YOU SUPPOSE OBAMA HIDES EVERYTHING?

Playtime is over, but guess it is okay if you're the one doing the playing...just sayin'

Since you insist on calling him Willard (sm) - LM

[ In Reply To ..]
I think conservatives should call Obama by his middle name - Hussain. How about it? Hussain and Willard. Then we could move on to discussing what religion each is. We already know Willard's.

Good one LM - Bet that puts a burr up her you know what

Most uplifting message of support I have read. You goooooo, Aunt Sue! I don't understand why every voter in America is not cheering for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. I trust them. I have complete faith in them that our country will be in better hands when they assume the presidency and vice-presidency. I'm going to copy your post and place it on my desk so I can remind myself every day between now and the November election that better days actually possible.

Who cares what someone writes in yet another - OPINION PIECE??!?

[ In Reply To ..]
Please see link and take note that it appears under the OPINION SECTION. It's what someone wrote in their blog, and, even better, what you have in your post dude admits to "gleaning" from the internet, meaning he probably copied and pasted it from an e-mail chain.

It's nothing but another rant by a guy with at the very least birther "tendencies" as proven by the first 2 paragraphs:

"After four and one-half years of the constant promotion by the Liberal Establishment, the Communist Party, The Congressional Black Caucus, La Raza, Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR) and many other fringe groups who are part and parcel to the "Victimization-Grievance-Entitlement-Non-Taxpayer-Non-Producer" advocates, spewing toward the rest of us just how intellectually brilliant Barack Hussein Obama is, we finally have someone to compare him to in every way.

Someone who has nothing to hide, someone who actually worked in real jobs, did not live off the teet of the taxpayers his entire life, has a valid stamped birth certificate, and that we can verify every moment of his life as we should be able to do for a perspective President of the United States."

And last 2 paragraphs conveniently omitted in your copy and paste:

"In addition, his parents were not avowed Communist, his grandparents were not avowed Communist, he did not associate with known home grown terrorist, his roommates in college were not born inPakistan, his brother is not a Communist instigator inKenya, and he is not a racist as he grew up in a family that fought for civil rights.

CLEARLY THERE SIMPLY IS NO CAMPARISON BETWEEN A DEVISIVE, RACIST,AMERICAHATING, CAPITALISM HATING AMERICAN APOLOGIST LIKE BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA AND A TRUE AMERICAN LIKE MITT ROMNEY!" (Screaming caps added by author... not me... so, he's the one who's losing control and heading off the edge here. Can you say nutjob?).

FYI, stuff that appears in the opinion section of newspapers/web sites are not necessarily fact. Any moron can write what they want... doesn't make it true.
For example, "He will show us his income tax records." REALLY???!?

NO, DEAR, NOT CUT AND PASTE. (sm) - Aunt Sue

Yes, this is an e-mail chain, and that's - not my fault

[ In Reply To ..]
Try Googling it. It's an e-mail chain. If you try searching "Sandy Strickland" on the FTU website, this does not come up as an article published by her as far as I can find. If you have a link to a published article, I - and I'm sure others - would be interested in seeing it.

Look, this lady can write what she wants and start an e-mail chain. That does not mean that it was "Printed in the Florida Times Union" other than where it appears in the nutball's birther blog that I provided a link to. All it proves is that he checks his inbox (as you do as well).

Condescendingly calling me "dear" and screaming caps are not gonna change that. Being louder doesn't make you correct.
No, it doesn't. Neither does your shouting - OPINION PIECE (sm)
[ In Reply To ..]
The facts stand. If you think any of them are untrue, please let us all know. Remember, we as conservatives don't have the Lamestream media in our pockets, and we pretty much have to hunt for whatever news we can get. So you'll have to forgive us if sometimes we post something you don't like, but still facts are facts.
Someone's opinion isn't necessarly 100% - true
[ In Reply To ..]
And that's the reason for my using caps in my original post. This discussion has been had over and over and over, so I added caps for emphasis directed at everyone in general as an attention getter, hoping that others might see the caps below before clicking on the original post and taking the "Printed" part of the original post subject line as truthful. It's an opinion piece. Presenting an opinion piece or an e-mail chain as something that was "Printed" in a newspaper is misleading.

People need to start waking up and realizing that by playing victim at the hands of the "lamestream media" is causing a rampant spread of misinformation. LSM is not an outlet to promote a liberal agenda. If it is, I'm very disappointed in it. That is actually a marketing tool of conservative news outlets to make the consumer of their product distrustful of other sources and tune in to only them. Instead, the "LSM" answers to their sponsors and reacts to ratings, making them willing to sensationalize in order to boost those ratings, which I don't think is right either, but it does not equal lying.

Just because something is what you like to hear, does not make it true and does not make it news (there is no War on Christmas). Fact checking and double checking sources is one thing... completely disregarding fact because it comes from something that you perceive as liberal is quite another and unwise... and, finally, being willing to believe anything that a conservative source tells you is downright scary.

And, unless Mittens released more than the inadequate amount of tax returns he already has, this e-mail chain is not factual when it states "He will show us his income tax records." Sorry. He's only willing to release what he sees fit. It's a lie.
He's rich. What more do you want to know? - No liberal media? Now that's funny.
[ In Reply To ..]
kinda sad too.
Oh, okay. Didn't know that. Is that why you shouted? - (sm)
[ In Reply To ..]
You'd never know that from glancing down this board everyday. Liberals do think they opinions are facts.
Again, there's plenty of room for 2 thoughts on 1 post. - No need for 2 responses

Because sometimes I forgot to post it all, and someone - makes a comment. I respond (sm)

Isn't that what conversation is supposed to be about? I'm getting kind of up there in years, I forget things.
And I WONDER who died and left you God - to criticize how many times a poster
[ In Reply To ..]
wants to contribute. What's it to you if a poster wants to use a separate post for each thought? You paying for this board? Why do you manipulate every thread? Answers those questions before you attack another poster. You arrogance is, as usual, is over the top.

P.S. WE "recognize your writing style".

A link to where Ms. Strickland had what you posted PRINTED in the FTU would be what I'm talking about. Not the content which can be found in the email chain, and not her name and phone number which can also be found in the email chain and blog/FB reposts. You were being misleading when you said this was printed in a newspaper, and you know it. However, trying to pass garbage as fact/news could land you a job w/Fox if you get better at it.

If anyone wants to have fun, Google "Sandy Strickland" and "Willard Mitt Romney"and see what kind of results you get. Hint: None will bring you to a FTU printed article.

Repeating a lie over and over does not make it true, and trying to deflect by accusing someone of being drunk doesn't change that. Aunt Sununu indeed!
Whatever. Very obtuse, as usual. Here's a quarter - - call someone who cares.

Why would you care about another opinion piece? - Indeed (sm)

[ In Reply To ..]
Evidently you care enough to post a whole diatribe of what you feel are rebuttals. Reporter's name and phone # are above. Perhaps you should give her a call.

First... see my response above. - It's an e-mail chain.
[ In Reply To ..]
If I'm incorrect, I'm sure "Dear" Aunt Sue will provide a link to where Ms. Strickland had this printed in the FTU from the FTU website. If she didn't copy and paste from an e-mail chain like she claims or the multiple places this appears over and over and over again in RW blogland (along with the author's name/info), she's sure to have the FTU link handy, and I'll stand corrected.

Second... there's plenty of room to fit this and your other response in 1 post.

Florida ColdFeb 19, 2015
At the risk of getting tomatoes thrown at me for those people in the north, here in SW Florida, we're not used to cold weather. It's 56 today, and going into the 30s tonight. I can't stop shivering. We have an open floor plan and high, vaulted ceilings, so heating it is almost impossible. And it's windy out so all the cold here is coming in t ...

I can keep the flea/tick problem under control during the colder temps but I've noticed over the last few days with the warmer temps that the dogs are getting fleas and ticks again.
