Today is a choice

Today is a choice. Choose to make it beautiful and productive.

Today is filled with challenges, opportunities, frustrations, possibilities and much more. Choose to make good and meaningful use of it all.

No matter what you have chosen or failed to choose in the past, today you can choose to live at your highest, most fulfilling level. No matter what today brings, you can respond with love, kindness, joy, gratitude and genuine enthusiasm for making a positive difference.

In all of time, today is the one day with which you can now work. Today you can choose to express the miracle of existence in a way that is uniquely yours.

Today, you can choose to lift up and strengthen the values and visions that truly mean the most to you. Today you can choose to rise above the petty negativity and to focus on bringing new beauty and richness to life.

Today is a choice, and you are in a position to make it the smartest, most loving, authentic and meaningful choice you’ve ever made. Today is your choice, so choose to make it the best one yet.

— Ralph Marston

How Important Is Romney's Choice To You?Jul 29, 2012
Are you withholding support for Mitt Romney until you see who he chooses as the person who will be "a heartbeat away..."?   I'm reading a book right now about the assassination of James Garfield.  His VP was Chester Arthur.  Arthur was pushed into the VP spot by a certain powerful NY politician and a pretty all-round awful guy named Roscoe Conkling.  The book says that during the course of the campaign, there was some discussion about the fact that Arthur would be presi ...

Frontline:The Choice 2016Oct 08, 2016
I watched this last night on television and it was quite an eye opener.  Seeing both Trump and Hillary in their formative years and seeing what makes each of them today - neither one had the start in life that everyone deserves.  And what path each chose - it explains alot.  It didn't make me like either one of them any better, but since they are what we are left with, I can only hope that the one who is elected can rise above what their past has been.   ...

Broken-hearted Over Daughter's Choice....smNov 27, 2009
I really am looking for some advice and support. I have a beautiful, talented, intelligent, kind, and very beloved daughter who is very, very willful, always has been, but always has been a "good girl," in second year of college to be an elementary school teacher, and I adore her, she is my oldest of three children, and my only girl. Anyway, she has been steadily seeing a very nice young man since early last Spring, and she has been very happy. We all like him so much. But they just decided ...

Did Meatballs Influence Your Religious Choice?Oct 02, 2010
CNN) – Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell says she tried "every other kind of religion," including witchcraft and Buddhism but became a Christian because of her love of Italian food. "I would have become a Hare Krishna, but I didn't want to become a vegetarian," O'Donnell said in an interview with Bill Maher in 1999. "And that is honestly the reason why, because I'm Italian and I love meatballs." ...

How Much Is Your Gas Today?Jan 07, 2011
A while back I posted a message that the oil commodity prices were going up and the last time oil was about $90, gas went to over $4.00.  Do you think there is less oil out there? I cannot believe it. I had hardly any pain yesterday except after the drops were put in and today I can see to read quite a lot, not fine print, but can read this board and some other things. The colors are so bright and the white is so white and bright. I feel like I have new eyes. Thanks so much for praying all of you. DHS Did Something Right Today.Mar 03, 2015
Supposedly, DHS shut down 20 of these birth tourist homes, all in California. It costs up to $50K for the Chinese mothers-to-be to come and stay here, having their babies in a regular hospital, and then go home. The Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution grants automatic citizenship to everyone born in the United States. It was intended to ensure that freed slaves would be able to claim citizenship they rightly deserved. Today, however, some creative "birth tourists" are ta ...

I Got A Cat TodayJan 21, 2016
Believe it or not, I got a wonderful cat at a shelter today! He is a gorgeous black cat, looks like a little panther, and is incredibly affectionate and good natured. He had been there quite a while because the shelter people said they have such a hard time placing black cats! He is a love (and my third black cat), and I am so glad that a friend of mine suggested I take a black cat! So, no Savannah cat, no pit, no Rottie, just a wonderful and loving black cat! He is a very peaceful creature ...

Wow! What A Speech By O TodayJan 07, 2010
I'm surprised no one on this board commented on it yet. I watched it and he seems pretty pi$$ed. I just hope he really means what he said this time. As he said, it is his responsibility. Maybe now he will stop blaming the former administration and focus on being a president instead of a puppet. The only problem I see is that talk is cheap. Implementation of what his plans are for the terrorist problem has yet to be seen. I did miss the press conference between Homeland Security ...
