Need some movie ideas for DVD for

Kids! You start on a vacation and no more than 10 miles and they are asking when are we going to be there? I would like some ideas for my friends, nothing sexy, no bad language. I do not need Mary Poppins or that sugary. Thought about Raiders because I loved the movie, read the reviews written by kids and the majority talked against the movie so back to first base. Any ideas? ;

It's a good one. It's mostly about a dog and a cat and hamster named Rhino on a road trip across the USA. Really funny and everybody at my house from 4 to 40 to 72 years old loved it.

After I ordered these I decided to have a movie day at my house so 2 or 3 might be shown prior to our trip; therefore might have to get some others to fill in but so far these are them:

1. Don't tell Mom the babysitter's dead.
2. Indian in the Cupboard.
3. Are we there yet?
4. Are we done yet?
5. Heavyweights.
6. Ferris Bueller's Day Off
7. The Sandlot
8. Jumanji.

I loved Raiders of the Lost Ark, Forrest Gump, Sound of Music and Wizard of Oz, the last 2 are totally kid watchable, the first have a little sumpin sumpin. Both kids under 13 and their mother is strict about what they watch, how much time they spend on personal tablets, etc. The kids will be watching alone in the back seat while traveling and would rather keep as much G rated as possible for their movies.

I went to the movies today, a new one that just came out about an overweight teenager from Harlem who was sexually abused by her father and mentally and physically abused by her mother. This movie was rated an R. Several years back it would have not had that lax of a rating. No prude here but the movie was completely filled with the most vile language I have heard in a movie but on top of that simulated rape scenes of the young teen with the father being the perpetrator. Spinoff of a thread in Politics. Does anyone read Dean Koontz? I *loved* him in the 80s, and even though he's become kind of formulaic, I still have a soft spot for him. I especially love the Odd Thomas series and I'm stoked about the upcoming movie. Real people and some animation. The Disney movie company just keeps churning out wonderful movies. I went to the show because I love bling of any kind, loved the color of Cate Blanchett's hair (really gold) and was totally amazed by the movie and loved it. I consider it more of a chick show, my friend and her daughter went with me and we all loved it. Check it out for a really good show for kids as well as adults. ...

I am so mad that I actually bought this movie because I heard so many people say how scary it it. It was not scary at all...not one iota. The movie is called "Paranormal Activity".
