I keep waking up at 4:30 am - a job I'm just training for (a low-stress job and only 1 marathon week a month!) starts at 6 am. So I'm trying to be a morning person. Constitutionally I really don't like the idea of going to bed at 9 pm, or 10 pm. Although I have more energy during the day when I follow a morning schedule. I'm afraid to read a book now, I think if I do I will fall asleep instantly. The night is young! ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... ...

I went to the movies today, a new one that just came out about an overweight teenager from Harlem who was sexually abused by her father and mentally and physically abused by her mother. This movie was rated an R. Several years back it would have not had that lax of a rating. Spinoff of a thread in Politics. Does anyone read Dean Koontz? I *loved* him in the 80s, and even though he's become kind of formulaic, I still have a soft spot for him. I especially love the Odd Thomas series and I'm stoked about the upcoming movie.
