Does anyone read Dean Koontz? I *loved* him in the 80s, and even though he's become kind of formulaic, I still have a soft spot for him. I especially love the Odd Thomas series and I'm stoked about the upcoming movie. The casting is kind of (forgive me) odd, (Patton Oswalt as Big Ozzie? mmmkay) but I'm still shamelessly looking forward to it. I'd love to have seen James McAvoy as Odd, but I guess he's too old.
LOL, sorry. I can't remember if that was how it was spelled, but when you mentioned Christopher Snow, I got all excited and peed a little, and then I felt compelled to insist we "seize the beer."
I actually liked the Christopher Snow novels a *little* better than the Odd Thomas books, but it seems Dean has chosen to continue the Odd series and not the Seize series. Which is cool, as long as he keeps writing at least one of them.
Which reminds me--did you read...I think it was Odd Hours? I'm putting in a spoiler in white beneath this (I hope), so you can highlight over if you want.
Odd finds Christopher Snow's hat--the one from Fort Wyvern. I wonder if he is going to have them meet? Or if that was just a wink at his Christopher Snow readers.
Sorry, I'm getting all nerdy on you here. But I don't know in anyone in "real" life who has read these books.
