How many of you are going to go see Magic Mike this weekend??? Ican hardly wait. Matthew McConnahry is just what the doctor ordered.

All I can say is it's about time; a movie where men are hot, sexy and scandalous since they have a million of these for men to enjoy, but none for the ladies. I say it's about frickin time. We are not blind and women of America do appreciate sexy, hot men unlike the American male would like you to believe that women are not visual creatures. Yeah right. I think some over jealous male came up with that bull crap theory. I am going to watch it and I hope it tops out at the box-office #1, so maybe they get the point and make a few more movies with hot, hard bodied men for us gals to enjoy!!!!!!!!1 ;)

I went to the movies today, a new one that just came out about an overweight teenager from Harlem who was sexually abused by her father and mentally and physically abused by her mother. This movie was rated an R. Several years back it would have not had that lax of a rating. No prude here but the movie was completely filled with the most vile language I have heard in a movie but on top of that simulated rape scenes of the young teen with the father being the perpetrator. Kids! You start on a vacation and no more than 10 miles and they are asking when are we going to be there? I would like some ideas for my friends, nothing sexy, no bad language. I do not need Mary Poppins or that sugary. Thought about Raiders because I loved the movie, read the reviews written by kids and the majority talked against the movie so back to first base. Spinoff of a thread in Politics. Does anyone read Dean Koontz? I *loved* him in the 80s, and even though he's become kind of formulaic, I still have a soft spot for him. I especially love the Odd Thomas series and I'm stoked about the upcoming movie. The casting is kind of (forgive me) odd, (Patton Oswalt as Big Ozzie? mmmkay) but I'm still shamelessly looking forward to it. Real people and some animation. The Disney movie company just keeps churning out wonderful movies. I went to the show because I love bling of any kind, loved the color of Cate Blanchett's hair (really gold) and was totally amazed by the movie and loved it. I consider it more of a chick show, my friend and her daughter went with me and we all loved it. Check it out for a really good show for kids as well as adults. ...

I am so mad that I actually bought this movie because I heard so many people say how scary it it. It was not scary at all...not one iota. The movie is called "Paranormal Activity".
