To Kill A Mockingbid and Godfather II are a tie in my mind. I love both of them and never tire of watching. Each is beautifully done.

That's a tough question. I have seen so many that are really good, and do like to separate between comedy and psychological thriller types. What About Bob is way up there in comedies. War of the Roses was great and Fatal Attraction were great psychological thrillers. Can't pick just one!

I went to the movies today, a new one that just came out about an overweight teenager from Harlem who was sexually abused by her father and mentally and physically abused by her mother. This movie was rated an R. Several years back it would have not had that lax of a rating. No prude here but the movie was completely filled with the most vile language I have heard in a movie but on top of that simulated rape scenes of the young teen with the father being the perpetrator. Kids! You start on a vacation and no more than 10 miles and they are asking when are we going to be there? I would like some ideas for my friends, nothing sexy, no bad language. Spinoff of a thread in Politics. Does anyone read Dean Koontz? I *loved* him in the 80s, and even though he's become kind of formulaic, I still have a soft spot for him. I especially love the Odd Thomas series and I'm stoked about the upcoming movie. Real people and some animation. The Disney movie company just keeps churning out wonderful movies. I went to the show because I love bling of any kind, loved the color of Cate Blanchett's hair (really gold) and was totally amazed by the movie and loved it. I consider it more of a chick show, my friend and her daughter went with me and we all loved it. Check it out for a really good show for kids as well as adults. ...

I am so mad that I actually bought this movie because I heard so many people say how scary it it. It was not scary at all...not one iota. The movie is called "Paranormal Activity".
